A Cunning Pervert in the Cultivation World - Chapter 350: The First Calamity (4)

Chapter 350: Chapter 350: The First Calamity (4)
After a while, the secret realm was now completely devoid of life as only Li Feng and Yue Lan remained.
[Reward Compiling…]
“Hmm… how long is this going to take?”
Li Feng murmured, resting his cheeks comfortably on the soft pillow of Yue Lan’s thigh.
Right now, he felt as if he were in heaven.
The strangely supple flesh beneath his cheek served as the perfect natural pillow, while he slowly inhaled her cool, icy refreshing fragrance… like a gentle spring breeze carrying faint floral notes.
It seemed her body had undergone some subtle changes after the rebirth and Li Feng could already sense it clearly.
Above him, Yue Lan gazed down, wondering what he was muttering about.
But as her eyes lingered on his face, a strange curiosity stirred within her.
It was odd.
Even though she already knew what Li Feng looked like… but the longer she stared, the more new details she noticed… subtle things that felt strangely fresh and captivating.
Gently, almost unconsciously, she reached down and began to caress his face.
Her slender fingers traced from his cheek to his eyebrow, then slowly along the bridge of his nose, studying every detail with quiet fascination.
Meanwhile Li Feng simply smiled, enjoying the tender touch.
After everything he had been through, he felt he more than deserved this moment of peace.
Still, impatience gnawed at him as he have been waiting for the system reward for quite some times.
Then he tried calling out to the system in his mind.
’System, what’s taking so long?’
Strangely, there was no response, as if the system had vanished somewhere.
’Don’t tell me it actually went to grab the reward…?’
A bizarre expression crossed his face at the ridiculous image of the system struggling to carry back some massive prize from a storage.
’Well, if it’s taking this much time, the reward must be something really good.’
Li Feng grinned, then lifted his gaze to the breathtaking face above him.
No words could truly capture its perfection of that beautiful face.
Now that everything had passed and tranquility had returned, his heart thumped heavily with desire.
But then he realized he still couldn’t move freely.
His body was completely drained after that final attack, leaving him with nothing but quiet frustration as he clicked his tongue.
With a soft sigh, he sank his head deeper into her soft lap and relaxed.
’Well… this isn’t too bad.’
He closed his eyes and murmured to himself.
Slowly, Li Feng began reflecting on everything that had happened… from the mysterious voice, to the calamity, and the Divine Blood.
He opened his eyes again, falling into deep thought.
To be honest, he wasn’t entirely sure the Ruler of the Stars could handle the False Cultivators.
He had even recall Goldie as a backup, since the future vision mentioned about needing Divine Authority which he assumed referred to Goldie’s divine power.
In the end, though, it seemed he hadn’t needed it.
The Ruler of the Stars was simply that terrifying.
Even though he didn’t fully understand what that was when he in that state, he knew one thing for certain: its power was terrifying enough to destroy all concepts themselves.
Even the so-called immortality those monstrous beings possessed was not spared.
Of course, that kind of absolute annihilation would only be possible under a specific condition… one single, decisive attack that struck all of its forms at once.
Thankfully, the tower had contained the calamity, allowing Li Feng to obliterate everything together with the tower itself.
The only downside of this skill was its extremely short duration and the ridiculous one-month cooldown.
Li Feng let out a soft sigh as he checked the cooldown timer in his mind.
’It seems I called Goldie here for nothing.’
Now that he was thinking about Goldie, Li Feng blinked and looked around.
Only then did he notice Goldie standing a short distance away and noticed something strange.
“Hmm? What’s wrong—”
Before he could finish speaking, the entire secret realm suddenly trembled violently.
CRACK!
CRACK!
CRACK!
“What?”
Li Feng’s eyes widened as multiple cracks spiderwebbed through the air, as if reality itself had been shattered.
Then, a viscous black liquid began spilling out from the fractures.
“…You’ve got to be kidding me.”
He was certain he had already destroyed that thing.
“How is this possible—”
“It’s just a remnant of the Black Sea,” Yue Lan murmured softly from above him.
Li Feng glanced up at her. “Eh? You know something about this, Senior Sister?”
Yue Lan paused for a moment, seemingly sorting through her thoughts, before letting out a quiet sigh.
“I’m not entirely sure, but some remnant memories suddenly surfaced.”
She looked down at him and gently cupped his cheek.
“There’s no need to worry. You’ve already destroyed the will that controlled the Black Sea. What remains is nothing more than an uncontrolled remnant…”
Li Feng let out a sigh of relief, but it was short-lived as she continued.
“…However, since it is no longer under anyone’s control, it will follow its primitive instinct… to flood everything in its path.”
Yue Lan gazed at the black liquid now pouring from both the sky and the ground.
“It will most likely flood the entire secret realm… and then destroy it completely.”
Li Feng frowned slightly, but a relaxed smile soon returned to his face.
After all, he had the Divine Brick. Even if the secret realm collapsed, he would be safe inside it.
Yet he quickly noticed the worried tone in Yue Lan’s voice.
“Is there something else?”
Yue Lan hesitated briefly before sighing again.
“This secret realm itself was a special prison meant to contain the entire Black Ocean. Once it is destroyed… the flood won’t stop. It will continue spreading into the outside world, swallowing everything in its path.”
A complex expression crossed her face.
“There will be countless calamities, disasters, and deaths in the surrounding regions. It will keep spreading until there is nothing left to consume.”
Hearing such a grim future, Li Feng merely shrugged inwardly.
’Well, it’s not my problem anymore.’
He had already completed his quest by helping Yue Lan overcome her calamity.
Whatever happened next was no longer his concern.
Of course, he felt a bit bad for those who would suffer, but he wasn’t a superhero.
Besides, he had truly given his all and had nothing left to offer.
’Let the big shots handle it.’
The Five Major Sects would never allow such a disaster to threaten their territory.
There were surely some old monsters among them capable of dealing with it.
Even though he thought this, but outwardly Li Feng put on a solemn expression and looked at Yue Lan.
“I see… But there’s nothing we can do, Senior Sister. We should leave this to the elders of the sect.”
Hearing this, Yue Lan just nodded and sighed softly.
Indeed, they were in no position to stop this.
Seeing that she had no intention of trying to sacrifice herself to halt the flood, Li Feng felt a wave of relief.
If she had planned something like that, he would have had no choice but to knock her out and drag her into the Divine Brick.
After everything he had gone through, there was no way he would let her die again.
CRACK!
SPLASH!
CRACK!
SPLASH!
Suddenly, the situation worsened.
More black water erupted from the cracks like a raging tide.
The entire secret realm was already darkening and beginning to flood.
But Li Feng didn’t look worried at all.
He simply smiled and gently console Yue Lan.
“And there’s no need to worry about our safety, Senior Sister. I have a way to get out of this unscathed. Oi, Divine Brick, teleport us inside.”
Once inside the Divine Brick, Li Feng planned to settle the matter of the disciples staying there first.
He would have them swear a strict oath to keep their mouths shut about the treasure and the vast internal space it contained.
After all, he had just saved their lives so this much was hardly too much to ask.
Of course, he knew it wasn’t a foolproof method.
Secrets had a way of leaking no matter how tightly they were sealed, and he had already taken that possibility into consideration.
If the news got out, then so be it.
If some idiot still dared to come and try stealing the treasure from him, then let them come.
He would simply rob them in return.
He was confident the sect wouldn’t mind… after all, it would be nothing more than “self-defense.”
And after dealing with all that… if he still had some spare time, he wouldn’t mind spending some quality time in bed with Yue Lan.
He was very much looking forward to experiencing the body of the inheritor of a Divine Phoenix.
Just as a lewd smile began to spread across his face at those thoughts, Li Feng blinked in confusion.
…There was no reply from the Divine Brick.
“Divine Brick…?”
He turned toward the hovering brick and noticed it seemed to be staring intently at something.
Following its gaze, he saw that Goldie was now standing right beside them.
“Goldie? I almost forgot about you. Haha, come on. Let’s get the hell out of here!”
“…”
