A Farmer's Journey To Immortality - Chapter 679: Third World P1

Chapter 679: Third World P1
Several eagles had reached the late stage of the 2nd Order. Their presence was sharp and heavy, like blades hanging in the air.
When these beasts flapped their wings, strong gusts of wind swept across the field, forcing nearby plants to bend low.
Aksai knew that these ones could, given enough training, easily deal with late-stage Foundation Establishment experts head-on.
Then his gaze stopped. Five figures stood slightly apart from the rest. These five Bluewind Eagles were different.
Their bodies were larger, broader, and more refined. Their scales had spread further, covering their chests, necks, and parts of their wings.
The blue hue of their scales was deeper, mixed with faint traces of dark silver. Their horns were longer and sharper, curving backward like true draconic beasts.
A heavy aura surrounded them. It pressed down on the air itself.
Aksai felt his heart beat faster.
“These five…” he whispered.
They had not simply grown stronger. They had subconsciously tapped into their draconic bloodline on a deeper level than the rest.
These eagles were still at the 2nd Order, but they were only one step away from forming their beast cores and stepping into the 3rd Order realm. Their Spirit essence churned violently inside them, as if it was already trying to condense into something greater.
One of the five lifted its head and let out a deep cry. The sound rolled across the farmland like thunder, filled with pride and dominance. The other eagles responded at once, lowering their heads slightly, their bodies tense with respect.
Aksai smiled slowly. This was exactly what he had hoped for. An aerial force was no longer just a dream. And he needed something just like this to deal with the Kalingoot.
“Hmm. They indeed seem hungry. The side effects of the Beast Growth potion are about to be kicked in.”
Aksai thought to himself and closed his eyes for a moment and sent a clear mental order to the Sentient Fiends.
Feed them with Flesh Pumpkins.
All around the farmland, the Sentient Fiends reacted at once. They moved quickly and without hesitation, dragging large Flesh Pumpkins toward the resting eagles. The pumpkins were split open, their rich pulp exposed. The scent of dense Spirit essence spread through the air.
The Draconic Bluewind Eagles lifted their heads at once.
Hunger burned in their eyes.
They pounced on the Flesh Pumpkins, tearing into them with sharp beaks and clawed forelimbs. The sound of ripping flesh echoed across the field as the demon beasts fed greedily, absorbing the blood-like rich Qi and thick Spirit essence stored inside the fruits.
Aksai watched calmly, making sure none of them went wild.
After confirming that the feeding had begun properly, he turned his attention elsewhere. With a thought, he summoned two familiar figures.
Yelia appeared first, stepping out of the spatial ripple with a composed expression. Lini Lowanfield followed close behind, her eyes widening slightly when she saw the army of massive demon birds spread across the farmland.
“So many…” Lini muttered.
Aksai nodded. “Um. They will do… for now.”
He looked back at the eagles. Although their bodies were large and powerful, their actions still carried traces of clumsy youth. Some fought over food like hatchlings, while others stared around in confusion after eating.
“Their bodies have matured,” Aksai said, “but their minds haven’t. Right now, they’re still younglings inside.”
Yelia frowned slightly and understood at once. “If left like this, they’ll be unstable in battle.”
“Exactly,” Aksai replied.
He waved his hand, and several small jade bottles appeared in the air before floating down gently. Each bottle contained a faintly glowing liquid that shimmered with Aether essence.
“These are special Aether essence potions,” Aksai said. “They will help their mental growth catch up. Administer them carefully.”
Lini reached out and caught one of the bottles, studying it with curiosity. “And after that?”
“You train them,” Aksai said plainly. “Discipline, coordination, and basic combat sense. Treat them like soldiers, not pets.”
Yelia nodded, her expression serious. “Leave it to us, my liege.”
The two women moved forward, stepping into the field as the Sentient Fiends continued feeding the eagles. Under Yelia and Lini’s guidance, the potions were prepared and readied for use.
Aksai then left the section of the farmland where the Bluewind Eagles were resting and moved deeper into the Everwood Farmland.
This part of the land was quieter.
Tall spirit plants swayed gently, and the ground felt firm and alive under his feet. Around the entire farmland, a special barrier stood like an invisible wall. It marked the edge of the Everwood Farmland and kept everything inside safe and stable.
Aksai walked along the inner side of the barrier, his eyes scanning it carefully.
Soon, he stopped.
At one location, the smooth surface of the barrier was no longer calm. A ripple spread across it again and again, like water disturbed by an unseen hand. The space there looked twisted and stretched, forming a long, narrow opening.
Aksai stared at it in silence. This was the third ripple.
He remembered the first one clearly. It had taken him to Martial World Sharang and changed his fate in ways he could never forget. The second ripple had turned into a World Gate and led him to Aether World Acarnis, opening his eyes to an even wider world.
And now, there was a third.
This ripple had appeared right after he broke into the Core Formation realm.
“The third world…”
Aksai took a slow breath.
He had not come here earlier because there were too many things pulling at him. Emerald Cove Island needed to be secured. His cultivation needed to be stabilized. Too many plans had to be put in place.
But now, most of those matters were settled.
He stepped closer.
The ripple formed a slit-like spatial entrance, nearly twenty feet tall. The space around it trembled softly, sending faint waves across the barrier.
The air near it felt cool and slightly heavy, as if it did not fully belong to any world he had seen and explored before.
