A Farmer's Journey To Immortality - Chapter 703: Obtaining Kalingoot Treasury P3

Capítulo 703: Obtaining Kalingoot Treasury P3
Near-endless Spirit stones filled Aksai’s vision.
They were piled high like mountains, arranged in neat rows that stretched far into the distance.
Pure Spirit essence filled the space, thick and rich, making the air inside feel heavy and full. Even a single breath here would help a 3rd realm or below Spirit cultivator recover.
Aksai felt his heart beat faster.
“So many…” he murmured.
He moved his Spirit Sense forward.
Beyond the Spirit stones were wide areas filled with alchemy resources. Thousands upon thousands of rare Spirit Plants grew in organized plots.
Their leaves glowed softly. Their roots were thick with life energy. Some were still growing, while others had already been harvested and stored carefully.
There were also many raw materials stacked nearby. 3rd Order Beast cores, rare metals, spirit wood, and other valuable items were placed in large piles or sealed containers.
It seemed that the Kalingoot had sent many teams led by the three Supremes into the Duya Forest to get their hands on beast cores and other materials.
Aksai’s Spirit Sense continued to sweep through space.
Rows of artifact racks came into view.
Most of them held second-order artifacts.
Swords, spears, sabers, shields, armor, and strange tools of many kinds filled the racks. Many of them were peak second-order artifacts, shining with strong and steady energy. These were items that even late-stage Experts could use without facing limits or strain.
Aksai’s lips curved upward.
“These alone could arm an entire force,” he said softly. He really needed these supplies to arm his seven Experts from Emerald Cove along with their subordinates.
Then his Spirit Sense reached the deepest part of the space.
There, six items floated quietly in the air.
They were third-order artifacts.
Each one gave off a heavy pressure, calm yet powerful. Their presence alone showed their value. Aksai could tell at once that these were true treasures, items that even Core Formation Lords would fight over.
Aksai guided his Spirit Sense toward the first artifact. It was a dark green banner.
The cloth looked old and worn, with torn edges that fluttered even though there was no wind. Strange symbols were stitched across its surface using pale silver thread. The moment Aksai touched it with his Spirit Sense, a cold and bitter feeling spread through him.
“This is a battlefield banner,” Aksai said quietly. The banner’s power was simple but cruel.
Once planted into the ground, it could cover a wide area with a field of death energy. Anyone who died within that field would have their lingering Spirit strength absorbed by the banner. That energy could then be released to strengthen allies or weaken enemies.
The longer a battle lasted, the stronger the banner became. However, there was a price.
The banner fed on resentment, pain, and fear. If used too often, it could slowly affect the mind of its owner, making them cold and ruthless over time. They could also lose their sense of being if the artifact was used too frequently.
Aksai pulled his Spirit Sense back. “It’s good that I did a surprise attack on Kalingoot, not allowing the First or Second Supreme to use this banner,” he muttered.
He then turned his attention to the second artifact.
This one was a mirror.
It was round and about the size of a dinner plate. The surface was smooth and clear, like still water. There was no frame, only a thin ring of pale blue light around its edge.
Aksai sent a thin thread of Spirit Sense into it.
The mirror rippled. At once, images began to form on its surface.
This artifact allowed its user to observe distant places and hidden areas. As long as the user had been to a location before or had a strong link to it, the mirror could show what was happening there in real time.
It could also reveal hidden figures, illusions, and false images. Even Spirit concealment techniques had a hard time hiding from it.
Aksai’s eyes narrowed slightly.
“This one is dangerous in the right hands,” he thought to himself.
However, the mirror also drained Spirit energy at a steady rate. Using it for too long could leave a cultivator empty and exposed. Worse, if someone stronger noticed the spying, the mirror could be traced back to its user.
After all, the 3rd Spirit realm Spirit cultivators were way too strong than late-stage Experts. Plus, they had many 3rd Order artifacts on themselves. As such, no artifact could be called too powerful or too weak. It depended on the way their users used them.
Aksai withdrew his Spirit Sense again. Finally, he focused on the third artifact.
It was a pair of gloves.
They were made of soft, black material that looked like leather, but felt warm and alive. Thin lines ran along the fingers, glowing faintly with a red light. When Aksai touched them with his Spirit Sense, he felt a deep pull, like the gloves were trying to grab onto his power.
These gloves were made for direct combat.
They could amplify the user’s physical strength and Spirit Essence utilization at the same time. Any strike made while wearing them would carry both raw force and spirit pressure, allowing the user to break through defenses far above their normal level.
There was another effect as well.
The gloves could drain a small amount of energy from whatever they struck. That energy would flow back into the wearer, helping them recover during battle.
Aksai smiled faintly.
“These would suit a frontline fighter very well,” he said.
But even these gloves were not without danger.
If the user fought for too long, the gloves would begin to draw more energy than needed. If the wearer lost control, the gloves could start feeding on their own Spirit power instead.
The fourth artifact was a long spear.
The spear was made of pale gray metal, smooth and clean, without any decorations. Its blade was narrow and sharp, and the tip looked like it could pierce anything in its path. There was no shine, yet it gave off a sharp pressure that made Aksai’s skin prickle.
“This one’s even better than what I gave to Shuan,” Aksai said quietly. “And it’s not just because it’s a 3rd Order artifact.”
The spear’s main effect was penetration.
When thrown or thrust forward, it could ignore layers of defense. Barriers, armor, and even condensed Spirit shields would weaken greatly in front of its tip. The more Spirit energy the user poured into it, the deeper it could pierce.
There was another effect.
Once the spear locked onto a target, it would slightly adjust its path, making it harder to dodge. It was not true homing, but in close- or mid-range combat, it could decide life or death in a single move. The artifact also seemed to have a budding artifact spirit that had not fully awakened yet.
Aksai decided to give this artifact to Shuan as soon as he returned to the island. Since it had an artifact spirit, Shuan could benefit greatly in the future by nurturing it, even if he could not make use of the spear right away.
The Spirit farmer then turned his attention to the fifth artifact. It was shaped like a small bell.
The bell was no bigger than a fist and was made of dull bronze. Cracks ran along its surface, yet they did not weaken it. Instead, they seemed to add to its strange presence.
Since the Dadangar Subcontinent did not have capable third-order artifact refiners, most artifacts came from secret caves or hidden, isolated realms. Or they were passed down from one generation to the next. They were quite old and often changed hands.
This bell had clearly been used by multiple Lords before it ended up here.
Aksai touched it with his Spirit Sense.
The bell rang.
No sound reached his ears, but his mind shook. This bell attacked the soul directly.
When rung, it sent invisible waves that struck the Spirit, the mind, and the Sea of Consciousness. Those with weak souls would feel dizzy or fall unconscious. Stronger cultivators would still feel pain, confusion, and delayed reactions.
The bell was especially effective against people using soul-based techniques or Spirit clones.
It was similar to the soul-related 1st and 2nd Order Bloodfiend artifacts in the shape of lanterns that Aksai had, but its crafting method was not demonic in nature. As such, it was slightly weaker in raw power, but it had almost no long-term side effects on the user.
Plus, it was made to target Core Formation Lords. As such, the artifact was clearly more potent to use than Aksai’s Bloodfiend lanterns.
