A Journey That Changed The World. - Chapter 1582 - 1582: Don't Say Another Word!

”Looks like Archer has already claimed you, Bel,” Sasha teased, a smirk crossing her face. ”Now it’s time to give him your virginity that you’ve been saving for the right boy; there’s no one better than Arch, plus his children are adorable.”
Belle nodded and looked at him. ”Can I meet them one day? I want to see how cute they are?”
”Tomorrow, I’ll bring over Freya,” he gave in. ”She’s old enough to deal with the travel. Maybe Kela and Neoma can, but Hecate hates them being away from her for so long.”
”Whose Hecate?” The blonde questioned.
”One of my first wives. I met her when I was like thirteen many years ago, and we’ve been together since I turned seventeen.”
Belle looked shocked, but stopped talking once the group reached the bench where Cece was sitting with her two friends. Moments after that, more cars pulled in and parked up, for more young men and women poured out and rushed toward the lake under the watchful eye of the gorgeous red-headed park ranger.
They exchanged quick greetings with the twins before turning to Belle, who clung tightly to Archer’s right arm. He flashed a warm smile at the newcomers and introduced himself. ”I’m Archer, the twins’ boyfriend.”
A ripple of hushed whispers spread through the group. A muscular young man stepped forward with a friendly expression on his face, extending his hand. ”I’m Ray. Good to meet the guy who tamed the wild twins of Colorado State College.”
Archer gripped Ray’s hand firmly, a grin tugging at his lips. “Yeah, it wasn’t easy. Took years to get it right.”
”Good, I’ve seen too many guys confess only to be rejected by both,” Ray revealed, laughing as he slapped his shoulder. ”But boy, aren’t you tall compared to the others.”
Everyone laughed as Belle added. ”I like the height, it’s just right.”
”For picking you up and fucking your kitty silly?” Lila teased the blonde.
Belle’s face went bright red, making the entire group laugh as Archer leaned over and whispered into her ear. ”Ignore her, Bel, there’s no need to rush into anything, plus you have to decide whether you can share me with other women?”
When the young woman heard this, her face fell as she nodded. ”I know, I’ve tried to ignore that fact, but it’s always there.”
Archer rubbed her lower back, reassuring her. ”Go enjoy yourself and think about it once you get a few drinks in you. Cece’s has the good stuff.”
Following that, Belle wandered over to the other girls and boys before speaking as he sat. As the party unfolded, people were celebrating that the twins had someone and weren’t making it up, annoying the two young women. He pulled out a bottle of dragon ale and started drinking for some time.
After talking to Ray and another boy called Fred, they were interrupted as another vehicle rolled in, drawing every eye. The lively chatter among the group of young men and women fell silent, all heads turning toward the new arrival. Belle moved closer to him, her voice dropping to a hushed whisper. ”That’s a local gang. They always try to hassle us out here or in town.”
His eyes gleamed with interest at her words. He studied the five figures in the car. With a flicker of mana, he summoned invisible Mana Birds, their ethereal forms darting off to scout the gang leader’s home. Tapping into the faint threads of mana, he brushed against the human’s mind, gleaning his secrets.
When learning everything he needed to, his smile widened as a spark of recognition hit him about the gang’s leader. The car screeched to a stop in the parking lot, and the group of five spilled out, their manic grins scanning the lively party, looking for the weak. The leader’s gaze locked onto him, his face twisting into a scowl.
Meanwhile, a couple of gang members started harassing a nearby couple, their words cutting through the festive chatter. He tensed, ready to step in, but the twins were faster, planting themselves firmly between the crew and their friends. Cece, her blue eyes blazing, jabbed a finger toward the gang’s leader.
”Who do you think you are, crashing our night and harassing us again?” she shouted, her voice dripping with defiance.
”Now you’ve fucked up!” Sasha announced, looking at him. ”Babe, these are the idiots who tried chatting us up when we first got here.”

Belle watched Archer slowly approach the five gang members with a confident stride before saying a name to the leader. ”Anna.”
The man went stiff, making his smile grow wider as he continued. ”Trevor came down as soon as you left.”
When the crowd heard this, they went crazy, angering the gang who circled an unbothered Archer. The leader took out a knife and held it to his neck. ”Don’t say another word!”
Belle watched the handsome dragon chuckle. He continued to humiliate the gang leader by revealing something only the young man would know. ”Trevor is fucking her in the ass as we speak. If you head back now, you’ll catch them.”
The gang leader’s eyes widened with pure rage. Moments later, he pinned Archer against a nearby car, the knife pressed to his throat. Panic erupted, girls screamed, and the guys surged forward, only to freeze as the thug bellowed. ”Shut up, or I’ll slit his throat!”
Her heart pounded as she watched the young man she was growing to like was eerily calm, raise a hand to the group, a faint smirk curling his lips. ”Kill me? Everyone wants me dead, you won’t be the one,”’ he taunted, voice low and mocking.
A second later, his laughter rang out, sharp and unhinged, echoing across the still lake. In a blur, he seized the knife, his fist crashing into the leader’s face before anyone could blink. The thug slammed into the car with a sickening thud that echoed out across the car park, shocking everyone.
Her eyes widened in shock, but he didn’t stop, grabbing another gang member, he delivered a brutal headbutt, the crunch of bone cutting through the chaos. The rest of the group piled in, fists flying, until the remaining three thugs were battered, bruised, and sprawled on the ground.
Archer watched as Cece’s and Sasha’s friends beat up the gang until they fled back to their car, promising revenge, but was stopped short when Scarlet appeared from the range shack, giving the car a knowing look. The gang leader took off down the road, throwing him the middle finger.
Without thinking, he vanished, appearing high above the national park, and began following the car. His wings cut through the sky as he slammed down in front of the gang’s vehicle, forcing them to come to a stop, but he growled. ”You threatened my women, now die!”
Moments later, Archer used Mana Manipulation to crush the car into a tiny cube that caused the blood to pour out like a waterfall. He returned to the car park only to bump into Scarlet and the man named Ben, who was looking at him strangely as he questioned. ”Why are you in the middle of the road? And why are those girls going crazy over your disappearance?”
”Because he’s the main character and they’re his women,” the redhead giggled.
Archer couldn’t help but laugh. ”That’s it! Seems like my life is like a novel sometimes,” he said.
Following that, Scarlet walked back with him. The older woman was watching him closely before she suddenly asked. ”You’re something else, aren’t you? The air around you is different than anyone I’ve ever met?”
”None of the others have realized that,” he admitted, looking at his hand. ”But yes, you’re right.”
”Are you an alien?”
Archer began laughing and summoned one of his claws, scales, and horns, shocking Scarlet. With wide eyes, she backed off, mumbling. ”It’s you! The young man who controls everything from the shadows. I remember you attacking Europe years ago.”
”It was unfortunate that it had to happen, but the governments are stupid and attacked me,” he revealed. ”I did warn them, I didn’t want to until they shot my women trying to capture them.”
Just then, his phone pinged due to a message from Alexa asking if she could see him, which he agreed to and said he’d come to her place in the morning, thanks to her being tired from work. She needed rest, so he’d go tomorrow. After that, he glanced at Scarlet, who was watching him with a strange expression.
Once they reached the lake, Cece, Sasha, and Elle rushed in his direction before the trio gave him a tight hug. After they separated blue-eyed twin looked at him and demanded ”Where did you go, Arch?!”
Archer showed them the cube that was the gang member’s car with them inside and revealed it. ”No one threatens the ones I love and will walk away.”
”You killed them!” Scarlet exclaimed, horrfied.
”Yes, they were low lives. The five of them don’t add anything to society and threaten the woman I love,” he retorted, his violet eyes glowed.
