A Journey That Changed The World. - Chapter 1587 - 1587: Can We Go

People were staring at Archer as people were healed, cars were repaired, and the ranger shack was returned to normal. Cece, Sasha, and Belle stepped out only for him to catch someone’s fist, aimed at the blonde. He let out a growl. ”What did I tell your governments? Don’t come after anyone I care about.”
Without mercy, he snapped the enemy’s wrist before tossing her to the side like a ragdoll, only to see Scarlet arguing with two men, and one struck her, dropping the older woman to the ground, causing him to vanish, materializing in front of the human as two strange noises echoed out.
Archer’s claws pierced their chests, and he pulled out their hearts before crushing them with an enraged expression. He ate both men’s souls, learning what country they came from, only to be pissed off when it was another European one, prompting him to summon an army of Mana Birds that covered the lake and car park.
This caught everyone’s attention; they looked up and went wide-eyed when seeing the glowing creatures. He sent them toward the attacker’s homeland while sensing even more assassins heading in their direction. Archer created a shield around every innocent person, protecting them from any attacks.
The men and women moved on him as one young-looking girl appeared in front, driving a knife toward his heart, but when the tip touched it shattered thanks to his scales. His smile grew wide, grabbing the stranger’s head and throwing her at another charging man, sending him crashing to the ground.
Archer continued fighting the assassins that were no match for him, being a dragon and them humans, it was already a losing battle. By the time the last one died, his Mana Birds rained down on the country that tried to kill Belle. Their cities went up in flames, buildings crumbled, and roads were ruined.
No one at the park realized what happened until the news alerts pinged on their phones, showing a video of a helicopter filming the Mana Bird hordes destroying the land with ease, shocking everyone. Moments later, Cece suddenly hugged him as she whispered. ”Thank you for helping everyone, babe.”
”No problem,” he answered, smiling at the worried young woman. ”I knew this would happen eventually, but not this quickly.”
”Are you really destroying that place?” Bella questioned from behind.
Archer turned to the platinum blonde, revealing. ”Yes, it’s the only way the world will learn to leave me alone. If it continues, I’ll bring an army of monsters to conquer them. I’m sure the normal people will love to live under my rule.”
After that, he shook his head and laughed, speaking once again. ”Would you three like to explore my world or go to any country on Earth?”
”Can we go to the UK?” Sasha asked. ”We haven’t been there since we were two years old.”
”Alright,” he nodded. ”Say your goodbyes and I’ll teleport us there when you’re done.”
Archer observed as they chatted with their friends, who occasionally glanced his way with mixed expressions. Their looks didn’t faze him; his focus was solely on the three young women. As their conversation wrapped up, the car park began to empty. Amid the bustle, he noticed Scarlet sitting on the ground, her face etched pale.
He approached the older woman and spoke. ”Sorry about that, it looks like the humans haven’t learn, but I’m sure they will now though.”
The redhead slowly turned to him, her green eyes dim. ”Thanks for helping me. I may have to go hospital, my jaw is killing me.”
Archer knelt next to the park ranger, gently cradling her cheek as he channeled a stream of mana into her. Scarlet’s initial panic melted away as the pain subsided, replaced by a soothing warmth. Stunned, she murmured. ”What is this? It feels incredible.”
”I’m healing you,” he replied, giving her a charming smile. ”But not just today’s injured, everything inside you. Even the cancer that was eating at your brain.”
When those words left his lips, Scarlet’s eyes widened, shocked, baffled, horrified, then settled on confusion as she replied. ”What do you mean?”
”It’s gone.”
”Huh?”
Archer chuckled at her adorable face. ”You were about a year away from passing away, but I wiped out the cancer like it never existed. Magic is a wonderful thing, wouldn’t you say?”
The older woman’s face went bright red; she couldn’t look at him but still managed to speak. ”Would you like to come on a hike with me? I need to think and would like you there.”
”Of course, but I need to put them three in my treehouse,” he revealed.
Following that, Archer turned to the trio and waved them over. When they got close, he opened a portal to the Domain. ”You three can explore my treehouse, I’m sure you’ll love it.”
They nodded in agreement, and Belle’s face lit up with joy at being included. He created a portal to the entrance, and the five stepped through, leaving the bewildered crowd behind without a second thought. When it closed behind them, the group was shocked at what they saw.
The treehouse had grown over the years, adding new parts until it was a hulking behemoth being held up by an even bigger tree. Archer had to make it busy over the years to keep up with its growth. When the four women saw this, they gasped as Cece commented. ”Look at this place, it belongs in a fantasy book.”
Everyone agreed as Scarlet mumbled. ”My children would love to see this.”
When those words left her lips, her eyes widened before gazing at him, but Archer smiled. ”I’ll send you back there. No hard feelings, you were caught up in the moment.”
The redhead let out a soft giggle, sharing the name of her destination. He brought up a portal to town. She stepped through after saying her goodbyes. As the older woman vanished, Sasha glanced over with a knowing grin. ”Seems like she’s got someone special waiting for her.”
”I don’t care,” he laughed. ”I’ve got more than enough women to bother about another.”
When he said that, Belle glanced down as Sasha added. ”Apart from our diner princess, looks like she’s caught your eye.”
Archer nodded. ”Yes, she has, but let’s see how things go,” he said.
He guided the group into the treehouse. As the four stepped inside, the women froze, their eyes widening in astonishment. The interior was cozy, far beyond what they’d imagined from its exterior. Soft furniture was arranged throughout the space, a weathered table adorned with wildflowers, and shelves brimming with books and trinkets.
Warm light spilled from a mana lantern, casting a golden glow across the room, while the faint scent of cedar and lavender lingered in the air. Every corner of the treehouse radiated comfort and charm, inviting them to linger in its embrace. Cece glanced around. ”This is like heaven, babe. Could we come here more often?”
”Yes, just use the tattoos and you can enter,” he revealed.
When the twins heard this, they got excited, while Belle looked sad, but Sasha hugged the blonde. ”You’ll get one in time, don’t worry about it,” she reassured.
Following that, they all sat down as he made them some tea, but the twins couldn’t help themselves and began exploring the place. Belle approached one of the windows that overlooked the landscape. She could see for miles; all she saw was an untamed wilderness with a forest surrounding the treehouse.
”There are trillions of monsters roaming this place,” Archer whispered into her ear. ”Creatures that crawled right out of your nightmares.”
Belle jumped at this, making him laugh, but he stopped when he grabbed her waist, pulling her close. ”I’m messing with you, beautiful. They won’t come near the treehouse.”
”I see some giant birds and lion-looking things pass by,” she replied. ”What were they?”
Archer shrugged. ”I honestly don’t know. There are so many, even I lost track of what’s in here, but they know not to mess with me,” he informed. ”I’d destroy them before sending their bodies back to the real world to rot.”
”Good because I worry about going outside,” the young woman said. ”I don’t want to be attacked by a big bad dragon.”
He leaned in and whispered into her ear, making Belle shiver. ”Do you want to be attacked?”
”Maybe after I’ve spent some time watching the monster,” she said, smiling. ”I’m not an easy princess to get into bed, you playboy.”
Archer chuckled, kissing her on the cheek before going back to the boiling kettle as a whistle echoed out. Belle followed behind, asking. ”Is that okay with you, Arch?”
”Of course, will you be around the twins a lot?”
”Yes, I like them and they brought me into their friend group.”
Just then, Sasha appeared in the kitchen, an amazed expression on her pretty face. ”This place is something else, babe, there are so many rooms, but the doors were locked.”
