A Journey That Changed The World. - Chapter 1647 - 1647: Sorry, Ladies.

Archer and Malakia continued eating the monster meat as the storm relentlessly battered the shield, causing it to shake thanks to the never-ending Long Winter that plagued the world for however long it lasts. Minutes later, he reinforced it with even more mana to make sure it was strong enough.
It poured out of his body like a tsunami, protecting them from the ongoing winds. Just then, Meredith appeared from the tent, the blonde stretching, letting out a yawn that caused all the right places to jiggle, making him gulp in response. His lust surged to the surface, but he tried to control it.
This caught the lioness’s attention as her ears perked up and her tail started swaying side to side, making her giggle as she gave him an amused expression. ”I won’t do it outside, especially in a tent for our first time, handsome. Maybe when we’re in the next city?” she said, grinning.
”Huh?” he responded, shocked.
The older woman chuckled softly at his expression, her big blue eyes gleaming with quiet amusement. She shook her head, a knowing smile curving her lips as she leaned in just enough for her voice to carry its weight. ”I can sense your desire, my love, it’s undeniable. But I’m patient. I’ve waited a lifetime to be yours. A few more days? That’s nothing.”
Archer glanced at the brown-skinned beauty and was honestly shocked at her words, but was happy that she was upfront. He returned to reality, shaking his head, leaned over, and kissed the older woman on the forehead, putting a bright smile on her face as Meredith finally greeted them.
”Morning, love birds. What’s with the shield? The weather became that bad?” she chirped with a big smile.
”Yes, Mere,” Malakia answered and returned the smile with one of her own. ”A storm started when we woke up. Looks like a rough one is hitting Draconia and will only get worse as the days go on.”
”How do you know that?” the blonde questioned while sitting down as she was handed a cup of tea.
”I can hear the chaos miles away,” she revealed, a knowing smirk curling her lips as she pointed at her ears. ”My senses have been honed for decades, allowing me to achieve levels of hearing that only a handful of people can do.”
When Archer heard this, he chuckled and sent a wave of mana that circled the entire world, only for him to be shocked at the results he witnessed. His violet eyes widened in amazement, shock, horror, and excitement. The two women instantly noticed the shift in his behavior, prompting Meredith to glance at him.
”What’s wrong, Arch?” she asked.
Malakia looked concerned, but he shook his head, revealing. ”We’re in the middle of Thrylos; there are four other realms out there beyond our shores full of life, empires, kingdoms, and lost lands. I never expected to see such a thing.”
They looked confused as the lioness curiously questioned. ”And how do you know this exactly? Do you have a map in your mind?”
”I sent out a wave of mana, which cost me a lot of energy,” Archer responded, coming down for his shock. ”Never done it before now, but this gives me a lot to think about once we finish this war with the Alliance.”
He rose to his feet, wings unfurling with a quiet rush of air, their span casting flickering shadows across the room. Turning to the two women, his voice carried a mix of awe and restlessness. ”I need to fly for a while. The idea that empires as mighty as ours exist beyond our reach is unsettling.”
Archer took off without hearing their replies and soared across the northern part of Draconia that they were traveling to. His wings sliced through the air, only for him to spot a mountain in the distance and head toward it. After a few minutes, he landed on an outcrop that overlooked the raging sea below.
He created a chair that he slumped into as he stared out toward the horizon with a lot on his mind. While sitting there, he sent a message to Aisha using the dragon tattoo, informing her of everything he discovered. The Dragonkin woman didn’t reply straight away, but soon enough she did.
‘What are we going to do, Arch?’ she asked. ‘That’s so many empires, can we conquer them?’
‘Yes, if these new weapons work,’ he reassured the redhead. ‘I’m designing ones from my old world but mixed with magic, making them even deadlier, and we’ll take every other continent on Thrylos, my dream still stands.’
Archer clenched his fist, the air around him pulsing with raw power. His eyes blazed with stubborn resolve as he declared. ”We are far from defeated. I will become the God Emperor of this world and throw the Terravians into oblivion. Mark my words, Aisha, I will forge peace from this chaos and reign over Thrylos for millennia.”
Aisha’s voice was ringing with fierce pride and devotion. ”That’s the fire I fell in love with. We’ll carve this destiny together with the others. Never forget, you’ve built what no soul dared dream. The people worship you, and soon, the stars will too.”
Suddenly, Archer leapt skyward, wings unfurling in a blaze of light. He drew in a breath so deep it seemed to pull the winds to his lungs, then unleashed a roar that shattered the silence of the world. It thundered across mountains and oceans. The Expeditions halted mid-step.
Enemies froze in dread. From the highest citadel to the deepest cavern, all of Thrylos heard a god rising. Moments later, he teleported back to Malakia and Meredith, who yelped in fright when he appeared inside the shield. The lioness looked at him with narrowed eyes. ”Don’t do that, you shithead.”
The blonde nodded in agreement, making Archer laugh at them while sitting down to get comfortable. ”Sorry, ladies. I was in a weird mood when finding out that the wars will drag on for years before my dream comes true.”
”So the new information didn’t put you off from conquering Thrylos?” Malakia questioned, a bright smile creeping on her face.
”Not at all, there’s just more of the world to explore,” he answered.
With the storm raging outside, the trio remained inside the shield, its mana holding firm against nature’s fury. Days passed until, at last, the skies finally stopped. With the wind and rain ending, the path north was free. Their destination: Northwatch, a city rising from the frostbitten mountains, where a mega bank was being built to house the empire’s wealth.
Archer was eager to witness it after Aisha told him about it. After a journey through wind-swept valleys and frost-laced forests, they topped a ridge and witnessed a sight that stirred hope: a bustling road carved through the wilderness. Wagons groaned under the weight of beams, enchanted stone, and crystal.
All bound for the bank’s foundation. Laborers shouted orders, arcane engines hummed, and the pulse of progress beat strong beneath the northern sky. As the trio descended toward the road that led to Northwatch, the scale of the operation came into full view. Hundreds of workers moved in coordinated rhythm, their chants echoing like a hymn to progress.
Golems carved stone from nearby cliffs, while mages used magic to lift massive beams into place. The air shimmered with enchantments, wards to protect the site from nosey people who tried to catch a glimpse. He was happy with the progress as Meredith appeared beside him.
”Looks like the plans were perfect,” she said, smiling. ”I can’t wait to see what it turns into.”
Following that, the three continued on the road toward Northwatch, where they ran into dozens of merchant caravans traveling the same way. When Archer spotted this, his smile grew wide as he thought while looking at a Novgorodian wagon passing by. ‘At least the ceasefire has brought more trade to the empire.’
”So many people traveling up here,” Malakia commented, looking amazed. ”I’m still getting used to this.”
”Well, it will be the norm for a few years,” he answered, smirking. ”Once my plans fall into place, it may last longer.”
The two women glanced at him with questioning looks in their eyes, but he shook his head. ”You’ll find out alongside everyone else.”
When the lioness heard this, she sighed, and Meredith giggled as the group joined the line into Northwatch. The Homeguards were checking everything before letting the merchants inside. The ones who weren’t allowed to enter were ushered to the other side of the road, where they returned to wherever they came from.
Archer was amused as no one argued, thanks to the dozens of strong soldiers lingering around the city gates. He heard that they didn’t have the right paperwork to trade in the city and needed to return to the port they landed in. The women were curious about everything and glanced at the walls that stood high above them.
