Absolute Beast Dominion - Chapter 451: Flourishing Territory

Chapter 451: Flourishing Territory
After sorting out his thoughts, Leo looked down at the ground below.
Poisonous Swamp.
“How the hell am I supposed to go back?” he muttered under his breath.
Leo didn’t have a flying beast, and land beasts like Shyra and Nyxa would have trouble getting out of here. Not to mention, his territory was almost 500 kilometres away.
He simply took out his phone and checked his contacts.

Lily, Kaelion, and Miho had their phones on Do Not Disturb, making it clear their training was still ongoing. Because of that, he simply messaged Brok.
Leo: Pick me up from the location I am sharing, and don’t try to land on the ground. I will jump up.
Not even a few seconds passed before Brok replied.
Brok: Boss! Are you taking a break from your training? That’s great! You will be surprised to see how well Miss Sylrael has managed the territory in your absence. I am on my way.
Leo raised a brow when he saw Brok using an honorific for Sylrael.
“Does he not have stereotypes, or is he simply scared?” he wondered, but then shook his head.
“No, he is simply smart.”
Leo already knew Brok’s personality. The man could even bow to a slave if it benefited him.
Brok also knew that it was precisely because of Sylrael’s status as a slave that she was trusted more by Leo than him, and that Sylrael had even been permitted to use force when necessary. So, he was simply being careful. In the future, if Sylrael climbed higher in rank and became a trusted aide of Leo and Lily, she could even be allowed to kill on their behalf. And no one would be able to lift a finger against her due to her race because she had the direct backing of monsters like Leo and Lily.
There had already been instances where influential human figures had elf wives that were equally fearsome. Some had even managed to get their slave status revoked when the human figure explicitly asked for the slave status removal reward from Emperor as their heroic deeds.
And after the Emperor made a simple check whether the elf wasn’t manipulating the human, he granted the reward.
This was also the reason that the relation between the upper echelon of elves and humans had been improving. Though commoners were commoners, they were still stuck to the tale of the Elven Empress running rampant across the human cities and killing a few million humans.
Brok arrived within an hour and immediately understood why Leo had told him not to land on the ground. However, he still needed to switch beasts because the first one had become exhausted after covering that distance at such a rapid pace.
So, he landed farther away, changed beasts, and headed toward Leo’s rough location.
Leo released a small solar beam straight into the sky, the golden streak highly visible against the dark and cloudy night sky.
But Leo was actually taken aback because the beam was a full charged beam. This was the difference between a night beam and a day beam when the sun was present.
As Brok flew toward the location, he vaguely saw a figure leap upward the next moment and land directly on the back of the Skyrend Eagle.
Leo used Howl’s trait–[Controlled Weight Flow]–to evenly distribute the impact force across the eagle’s back so it wouldn’t fall from the sky.
“O-oh… Boss. You scared the shit out of me,” Brok sighed in relief after realising the figure was indeed Leo.
“I said I would jump up. What are you so startled about?” Leo replied before no longer bothering to talk and laying flat on the eagle’s back.
“Finally. Some rest.”
Leo exhaled softly, folded one leg over the other, and closed his eyes. The last 15 or so days had passed without even a moment of mental or physical rest.
His body had constantly been under pressure from the tremendous force of the waterfall, and before that, he had been beaten like a dog. Then came the mental strain of trying to impose his spiritual boundary onto the outer world.
Brok understood Leo was exhausted and didn’t say another word, flying straight toward the territory. Any necessary information would naturally be explained by Sylrael later.
Though he did notice Leo’s clothing and immediately realised it had been woven from spirit threads.
Boss… so rich.
Leo kept his eyes closed until they neared the territory. The moment he sensed the familiar environment, he opened them and looked down, only to be immediately caught by surprise.
Until now, he had never seen the territory from above at night, especially after it had advanced so much. The glittering lamps and ambient mana shine gave his eyes a mesmerising sight.
The first thing that caught the eye was the nearly 50-meter-tall Titanbreath Lotus and its faint glow.
Then there was the 20-meter-high plateau region that stretched nearly 200 meters wide, with the general pool located right beside the Titanbreath Lotus and surrounded by magical plants glowing faintly in the night.
The females’ exclusive pool was situated on the opposite side of the general pool, across the Titanbreath Lotus. The adjacent sections contained two separate facilities. One side held the Fluxsoil Heart region, along with Bigfoot’s cave and the Mana Generator. The other side contained the wide room that served as the focal point of the omnidirectional sense array and the place where all collected mana crystals were dumped as a power source.
Leo still hadn’t removed the mana absorption array even after obtaining the Mana Generator because who knew when even the generator might fall short of fulfilling the territory’s energy requirements.
Everything occupied the central portion of the plateau, taking nearly 100 meters out of the 200-meter-wide area and leaving behind a 50-meter-wide ring around it.
This ring contained all the major buildings, including the houses of Leo, Kaelion, Miho, and the elves, along with the smithy used to craft arrows.
Nearly 1/3 of the ring section was dedicated solely to the training arena, where people trained, practised their moves, and sparred against one another.
Along with that, there was even a 5-meter wall encircling the plateau, making the total height from the bottom nearly 25 meters.
Everything above the plateau formed the inner circle of the territory, and the people living inside this region were called inner members. Excluding Leo, Lily, Kaelion, and Miho, who were referred to as the core members.
