Absolute Beast Dominion - Chapter 461: My Fodders Are Enough To Eat Your Best

Chapter 461: My Fodders Are Enough To Eat Your Best
Lily: I am at a critical stage in learning my technique, and unfortunately, I cannot come with you on the realm exploration. But even then, I can help you!
Lily also seemed to have almost completed her training, but since she was at a breakthrough stage, she couldn’t afford to pause it. Miho seemed to be a bit behind, but since her strength was lacking, she would be of no use following Leo. However, Lily seemed to already have an idea to help him.
Leo: How can you help me if you aren’t with me?
Lily: Just come to my training location tomorrow. Since the teacher won’t let me leave, I have to trouble you.
Leo: Trust me, you are no trouble.
Lily: See you tomorrow then. Love you.
Leo: Love you too.
Leo also asked Kaelion.
Leon: No.
That was the response he received. Simple, yet understandable.
The reason his phone displayed “Leon” was that Leo had saved it that way. Kaelion was a hidden name, and Leo didn’t want others to know it in case someone secretly sneaked into his phone.
By now, night had already arrived, and Leo was eating the dinner prepared by the elves.
After finishing it, he told the serving elf to call Sylrael.
Not long after, Sylrael arrived, followed by Naelith and another elf, Lyswenna.
All of them greeted Leo, and Sylrael began speaking.
“Lord, Lyswenna has wood and water affinity, and she has recently advanced to Peak 3-star thanks to your generosity. I believe she would be best suited to enter a flame-element dense secret realm, as her higher rank and water affinity can serve as the best counter against the beings inside.”
Leo looked toward Lyswenna, and she had indeed advanced a minor realm.
Name: Lyswenna
Race: Wood Elf
Soul Rank: Rare
Bond: Slave – Type: Equipment bonded
Status: High 3-star -> Peak 3-star
Talent: [Verdant Flow] – 4 star
Sylrael lightly nudged Lyswenna to say something, and so she did, her voice slightly nervous.
“M-My Lord, please be assured. I can pull my own weight inside the realm, and I can even run errands for you.”
But Leo wasn’t worried about her safety. As a Peak 3-star individual, she was already more than capable. What he was observing instead were her and Sylrael’s appearances.
Even though Sylrael ranked higher in strength and was older than the others, making her beauty appear more mature, they both looked fundamentally the same. And not just Lyswenna and Sylrael—almost all elves looked similar. If not for the slight variation in hair color according to their respective elements, it would have been very difficult to tell them apart.
“I’ve been wondering, why do you all look the same?” Leo couldn’t help but ask.
The elves were caught off guard by the sudden question, but Sylrael quickly collected herself.
“Lord, it is because we all belong to the same family. Many of them are even my immediate cousins.”
“Really? What’s the age gap?” Leo asked curiously.
“I am the oldest among us, and after me is Naelith, who is 210 years younger. After that is Lyswenna, who is another 50 years younger than Naelith.”
“Oh…” Leo, being smart, didn’t ask for her exact age, but he still got a rough idea that Sylrael was well over 2 centuries old, while Naelith was at least half a century old.
“Alright, you two can accompany me.”
“Lord, if you wish, even I can—” Since the exploration was dangerous, Sylrael also wanted to accompany them.
“No, you will handle the territory. You are doing a great job with it, and unless we get another capable person, you will continue managing it. Not to mention, you only have wood affinity, and that would put you at a severe disadvantage inside the secret realm even if you have the strength.”
Sylrael nodded and stepped back. Internally, though, she felt happy that her hard work was being acknowledged.
Leo then discussed the construction of the treasure vault and where it would be best to build it.
Sylrael suggested that the best location would be above the plateau, but currently, all the space there was occupied, and constructing any new building would require further expansion.
Leo tried sensing Howl’s energy reserves and concluded that it would require at least 2 more weeks before Howl could expand his body again. Until then, Leo decided to keep everything inside his spiritual space.
Before going to sleep, Leo made a trip back to Aurelius Hall through the teleportation array to pick up spatial rings for Naelith and Lyswenna so they could easily store items like arrows, bows, and other utilities.
He called Sylva, Aina, and Mira, telling them to take Naelith and Lyswenna to the market to buy any necessities they might need, and to send him the expenses through an invoice.
The girls happily agreed because Leo paid them 500 AC each for the task.
He carefully checked the rules and regulations once again. And just as he had guessed, taking slaves as fodders was allowed.
“Fodders? Naelith and Lyswenna are so strong that I might not even need to lift a finger unless a serious situation arises.”
After that, Leo checked on his status within Ember City.
As an Aurelius Academy student, he didn’t hold any noble status, but as the 1st-ranked freshman with Low 4-star strength, his status rivaled that of the city lord’s son.
Normally, the status of an Aurelius Academy freshman would place him around the level of a Knight or Great Knight regardless of strength, but being the 1st-ranked freshman elevated him to Baron-level status. Added to the fact that his strength had already reached Low 4-star, his standing rivaled that of the sons and daughters of Counts. Which meant his presence alone demanded that level of respect.
But since his status as the 1st-ranked, Low-4-star freshman wasn’t displayed anywhere visible, he would still be treated like any other student. Thankfully though, simply being a student of Aurelius Academy was already a status in itself.
“Oh wait… I would need money to back my status.” Leo muttered before heading to Aurelius Hall to exchange credits for metal coins.
He directly exchanged 5 Million AC for 2000 Gold Coins. Out of those, he gave 100 coins to Naelith and another 100 to Lyswenna as pocket money to spend on anything they might find interesting in the city.
He looked at the time.
4:01, 2 March, 501 AA
“Shit, will my bad habit of staying awake through the night ever go away?” He said so because he still wanted to research the Ember family.
