Ace Of Terrans - Chapter 1087: Beating Everyone.

Chapter 1087: Beating Everyone.
Shi Lang stood in the center of the city and he held the neck of the Stone Bull race. Someone from the crowd yelled, “Human, do you know where you are standing? This is the Dao City. How dare you break the rules of the city? Are you not afraid of the heavens?”
Shi Lang replied, “The rules state that I cannot kill someone, but no rules ever say that I can’t teach anyone a lesson.”
The people were stunned and Shi Lang replied, “Since you all appear in high need of discipline. Allow me to give you some color.”
Then his aura changed and the next moment, his fist rushed to make contact with the Stone Bull under his control. The impact knocked the man out cold and vanished from his spot. He appeared at the guy who preached rules and delivered a pinch right in the guy. He didn’t hesitate at all. He didn’t care if the guy was from a strong race or had backers.
His only motive was to beat them, and knock them out cold. His speed and force were all calculated. Within a few minutes hundreds or so people were laying on the ground all knocked out cold. How did that happen? Shi Lang used his ability to sense the structure of their bodies. After calculating the muscle thickness and bone density he delivered punches without hesitation.
This didn’t stop with just punches, some races were experts in cultivating souls, he subdued them with a swift soul attack. He was the Shura, and along with that he had a higher knowledge of how the soul functioned.
He moved through the crowd unbothered and after half an hour the square was filled with unconscious people. The races that were known as the elite didn’t wish to involve until they knew the entire details. How can they foolishly act against someone who was this strong? If this guy was that strong, then they would befriend him. If he was weak, they would kill him later.
Shi Lang finished dealing with around two hundred people and then he asked, “Who else wants to teach me rules?”
An old man with horns and eyes like that of the goat asked, “Young friend, what do you want to know?”
The strong were always revered and so, Shi Lang was respected as well. The Terran asked, “Can you tell me where the ranking tower is?”
The old man replied, “In the west, you will need to travel for nine months from the western gate of the city. You cannot be off course for more than a couple of kilometers.”
Shi Lang asked, “If I found that you have lied, I will look for the members of your race, and kill them before selling the goat meat to those who like it.”
As soon as he said this, the old man smiled and replied, “Do as you may, Young Friend, I am not lying.”
Shi Lang smiled and said, “I am Shi Lang, Old man. See you around.”
Then he vanished from his spot. A few experts from the top races looked around and their subordinates vanished as well. They all headed out to track Shi Lang and find out how good he really was.
The Terran didn’t bother, he moved out of the city. He didn’t even bother to contact the other humans because he was sure that they were tracking him and the news would reach back to the Asura Hall.
…
Shi Lang traveled for a few days before he stopped on the side and said, “So, when do you intend to come out and face me, or has the Grimoire Phantom Race turned into a bunch of trash?”
The information of the ten thousand races was public, and the terran had learned the details by heart. Even if he was faced with one of the people from the different races, he would still be able to recognize them. The Grimoire Phantom race was a creation under the heavens that when born, each individual would be tied to a book, that was called the grimoire.
These books were created by the combination of spirit and dao laws. They would guide the practitioners on their path of Dao. Although the members of this race were strong, there was one restriction they all faced, they were enslaved by the heavens and if the books were destroyed, they would die as well.
These Grimoire Phantoms never came out to the Dao plains until they had reached the level of a Dao King. Why? They were afraid, and they hated the fact that the elders before them had made such laws, and even when they wanted they could not step out of their world and are often called the Paper Tigers of the Myriad worlds.
As soon as Shi Lang stopped speaking several figures appeared around him. He counted about a dozen of such entities surrounding him and he replied, “What do you want, spit it and get lost.”
The Grimoire Phantoms were very close to humans in appearance and the only thing that made them stand out was the fact that they had white shadows. Yes, their shadows on the ground were white, and in the Dao Plain it appeared like they had no shadow.
The leader of the group wore a red tunic and his face was covered with battle scars and he said, “Do you know that just because of your arrogant manner of talking to us, we can kill you?”
Shi Lang vanished from his spot and when he appeared, he was standing right beside the speaker and said, “Did you think I was joining when I beat up half the city back there? It appears to me that the guide of your race doesn’t like you much, after all, why would he send over a few chocks in the Dao King and Dao Queen realm to hunt me? I am already beyond his reach, do you want to see?”
The people were shocked by his words, and then Shi Lang formed a palm sword and his palm went through the heart of the phantom before him. The Terran didn’t even bother about the protective techniques that the Phantom might have, his sword intent was so strong that it defied everything.
The Grimoire Phantom died before he could say anything. Shi Lang took his soul and placed it inside the Shura Space. He was going to drag these souls out and interrogate them to find out more about the Dao Plain and the various races.
The rest of the Grimoire Phantoms didn’t hide from battle and they began to chant their incantations, and a battle erupted only to come to a quick end. Shi Lang had cut down all the phantoms and then he had taken their souls inside his Shura Prison. He wanted them to suffer, and then beg him for mercy in exchange of information.
That was not the only thing that he did, he killed many other races that came after him, but he kept moving forward. To draw more aggro, he decided to tie the corpses to the flying weapons they all had, and tied the corpses with these weapons and left them inside an array that caused them to levitate.
He sure knew how to draw rage. Then he scanned the area once more and found a couple of bugs in the ground. He sent two needles and killed them.
Those bugs were known for recording stuff, a substitute image stone. Shi Lang had no qualms scrapping the plan these other races had been cooking to find out the extent of his prowess.
The young man took a deep breath and then continued on his way ahead. His speed grew faster and the number of confrontations also spiked. However, he didn’t stop. Always tried to move forward and with blood on his sword. This weapon was something he had collected from one of his unfortunate enemies.
Poor people they were, often he sighed thinking about this and continued forward. After all these battles his Dao Tree has gained some radiance and it looked way better than it was in the beginning.
The fights helped him understand the Dao Laws better and it increased his control over his power even more. Since last week his opponents have been upgraded too, they were all now in the Dao Tree realm as well.
The young man took a deep breath as he sat down on the white sand and mumbled, “That insect sure was a headache. To think that every foot was a sword. Even my sword puppet wouldn’t be able to move this fast. Oh, it stings.”
The next moment his muscles squirmed and the poison in his body was forced out of his wounds. There were at least two hundred small and big wounds on his body. As he was treating himself a few young men appeared in the distance.
They all stood in a line and the one in the front said, “Lord Shi, we are from the Sun archer race. We would like to discuss something with you?”
Shi Lang opened his eyes and raised his brow at the man before asking, “Can you not see that I am treating myself?”
The man bowed his head and replied, “We will wait.”
