Shi Tao and Tian Long fought with great vigor. The first sword art that they unleashed caused the void to ripple and the impact was crazy. However, none of the spectators looked away from the scene before them. He used his movement technique and avoided all the attacks that came his way. His speed and reaction were way beyond what Shi Tao could capture. Tian Long smirked and he was about to get in for the kill, when suddenly, Shi Tao changed her movements and said, “Shura Sword, chaotic winds of destruction.”

Tian Long didn’t see it coming. This move was something that Shi Tao had devised by herself. She was Shi Lang’s heir and the first disciple and had learned the Shura sword style. After so many years and efforts, she has completely transformed the sword style. During this entire battle, she was holding back and making Tian Long think that he could strong-arm her.

The chaotic winds were actually a storm of sword slashes that were laced with nothing but pure destruction. The attacks were not something that a normal person could tolerate. However, Tian Long was not a normal person, he moved around and then he used his sword to parry a few slashes that came too close to his comfort, and then he said, “You almost got me there, Xiao Tao. But this is not enough.”

The man raised his sword and let out his sword intent and said, “Dragon Purging The Heavens!”

Then he slashed the sword at Shi Tao. The attack was so strong that it caused the air to heat up and the moisture evaporated. The hot wind assaulted Shi Tao, and she had no option but to made a few seals with her hands to defend herself.

As she sensed the sword intent from Tian Long burning her shields, her eyes turned red and she said, “Shura Fighting The Heavens.”

The next moment, her aura spiked and Shi Tao appeared behind Tian Long. The latter was surprised, he knew that Shi Tao was a genius in her own manner, but how she was able to get behind him in a blink was something beyond his ability to understand. However, despite the surprise, Tian Long wasn’t fazed and he turned around to attack her, with a flaming slash.

Shi Tao who had used her move, retorted. The two parties entered a confrontation where they exchanged world changing level attacks. The barrier around the arena was shivering and the disciples were no longer calm. They all could sense that the situation was dangerous.

Shi Lang watched this, and Amelia waved her hand to cast another layer of barrier around the original one. Shi Lang turned his head to look at the side and found Yu Xeidi engrossed and he sighed, “My third child sure is a battle maniac.”

Amelia smiled and replied him, “The second and fourth are not too far behind. Look at them.”

The man turned to check the two others and found that Hao Mei and Xiao Meng had also entered the state of enlightenment. It was not only these three, several elders noticed that there were a few more people who were having an enlightenment. They created a barriers around these people to prevent them from disturbance. This battle brought them all a lot of gains.

This contest was held to decide the person who should fight the opponent in the upcoming battle round, and not a matter of life and death. However, even though Shi Tao was holding back, she had come to realize that she was not a match for Tian Long, just yet.

The duel was concluded and Shi Lang walked up to Shi Tao, as he smiled and asked, “You little one, you hid that move from me for so long.”

Shi Tao smiled and replied, “You only taught me that one should not unveil all their cards until necessary.”

The young man smiled and then he looked at Tian Long with squinted gaze and said, “You shameless old relic. You just know how to bully children. Tch.”

Tian Long didn’t comment but his veins were popping and the rest of the people shook their heads as they were used to this constant bickering between the two people. Shi Lang then turned to look at the disciples who were going through enlightenment and said, “You all should get their masters to come over and preside over them. They would need someone to help them in stabilizing the results of the enlightenment.”

The people nodded and after a few minutes, the arena was empty it was decided that Tian Long would represent the human race in the next battle and Shi Lang said, “Little reptile, don’t you dare lose or die, I cannot revive you if you lead all of us to death.”

Tian Long grabbed the hilt of his sword and said, “One day, scavenger, one day I will beat your gypsy thief ass to the ground.”

Shi Lang nodded seriously and said, “Dreams are good. Keep at it.”
