Ace Of Terrans - Chapter 1115: Flame Prevails.

Chapter 1115: Flame Prevails.
Tian Long exchanged blows with Hajar without holding back or faltering at all. His speed and intensity of his attacks was all perfectly matched with the expert of the Sword Mantis race. One detail that Tian Long was aware of was the fact that Hajar was the prime expert, he was the one who fought in the previous rounds and during those matches he held back a significant amount of strength.
However, it didn’t matter, while the insectoid had a honed his skills through thousands of years of battle and natural ability. Tian Long had been put through hell to hone his own. So, the Heavenly Dragon Emperor didn’t hold back from the beginning. The two attacks collided, the icy slashes from the surroundings evaporated before they could reach Tian Long.
The ground had turned into a lava puddle, and the heat was causing Hajar’s skin to prickle already. However nothing caused him to fear Tian Long. Hajar held his sword firmly and said, “Frozen Abyss.”
A huge gaping tear appeared in the void above the fighting arena, and it emitted a blizzard that caused the lava lake to lose its fiery radiance. Tian Long dashed forward and his hair began to catch fire as he said, “Purgatory Hell Dance of the Flame God.”
Flames began to erupt from his blade as he danced around Hajar while swinging his blade and countered the freezing chill. Hajar was surprised, because all this while, none of the people had been able to counter the Frozen Abyss move.
Tian Long not only countered the move but also pressured the insectoid. As he was dancing through the follows, his gaze happen to lock onto something across the shoulder of his opponent. Tian Long saw a glimpse where Shi Lang sighed and shook his head before closing his eyes and leaning back in the chair.
This gesture became the last thing that he needed to explode. All of a sudden, Tian Long stops moving, and the Insectoid sensed that the former had been distracted from the fight and yelled, “You dare to look away from me when fighting me? You bastard, I will kill you!”
His loud sharp voice got Tian Long’s attention back, and the man said, “I have had enough of you, maggot. Purgatory Hell: Divine Flames Incinerating Heavens.”
All the flames around him vanished as if they never existed in the first place. However, right that instant, the temperature began to rise high. It was not a gradual increase but a sudden increase, and Hajar found his thick armor like skin to turn red from the heat.
Tian Long began to sway slightly and his sword began to move through the void as well. However, it only appeared to be swaying a little as if a snake slithering closer to the prey slowly. The Sword Mantis expert Hajar, was frozen in his place, it was not because of awe or anything else, but because he was confused that Tian Long would suddenly appear to be so ordinary to him.
At this moment, Tian Long looked like a haggard ruffian on the side of a dirty alley. Hajar clicked his tongue and wanted to end the whole thing with one blow as he raised his sword and suddenly he heard a calm voice in his ears, “Die!”
He noticed that the blade in Tian Long’s hand had turned into a bright piece of smoldering iron. Then Tian Long swung his blade and unleashed a slash. Hajar raised his own blade to counter but all of a sudden he found that all the ice element from him was evaporated. Yes, never did anyone think that Tian Long would be able to evaporate the element that could counter his own to such an extent where it wouldn’t even manifest.
…
Fairy Moon Jade looked at Shi Lang and asked, “You just had to do it? No?”
Shi Lang smiled calmly as he leaned onto Amelia’s shoulder. He said, “Had I not triggered him, he would be taking a beating right now. Respect must be given to your opponent, but only when you are not exchanging blows. His respect for Hajar was holding him back, and we could not afford that. It was the only way to remind him, what he is capable of.”
Fairy Moon Jade sighed and replied, “I have never understood this dynamic between the two of you. As if you are his wife and I am the neighbor.”
Amelia chuckled while Shi Lang scrunched his nose and said, “Hey, hey, sister, don’t ruin my name like this. I have no affection for that punk.”
…
Tian Long was unaware of everything outside the arena, all he cared for was to launch the best attack that he could. As the sword attacked Hajar, the flame intent from the sword manifested into a sleek small dragon that shot through the void slowly. The creature was nothing as big as a snake covered with scales and looked as if it was real.
The snake was covered with Dao Laws and Sword Intent linked together all over it. It suppressed Hajar, not because of the sword intent or the fiery laws, but because Tian Long had used the principles of the Dao Beasts that he observed over the ages. He had always wished to create a move to express the stance of a dragon, and the current snake was an unfinished version of what he envisioned.
Hajar woke up from the trance and yelled while he tried to counter, “Sword God Slaughter.”
A phantom appeared behind him, it was an image of a mantis made up of ice, and it was slashing down with it’s sharp claws against the small snake. However, as the snake slithered closer, the mantis phantom began to evaporate, and scattered in the void, and then it coiled around Hajar, before it stuck to his skin, and then Hajar didn’t even had the time to scream as his body was covered with a lava like substance and reduced to ashes.
However, that was not it, the lava fell to the ground and it burned through the floor. The envoy of the Realm Lord Palace responsible for overseeing the match frowned and said, “The battle has ended, Winner is Tian Long of the Human race.”
