Ace Of Terrans - Chapter 1133 1133: Seeker (2)

Shi Lang and Shi Tao appeared outside the Asura Hall, and Yu Xeidi followed them. She didn’t seem to be worried now that Shi Lang had come forward. They spotted an old lady standing across them at some distance, and she was not alone, there were many supporters who have come over.
They froze when they saw Shi Lang. The reason they all had acted in such a dominant way was because Shi Lang was supposed to be in secluded cultivation. The Terran had his arms crossed behind his back, his expression was calm and his long hair were fluttering in the wind.
Shi Lang asked, “Sect Leader Yingxan, do you know the reason why my daughter killed your disciple?”
Yingxan didn’t expect Shi Lang to open with this, and she asked, “He is not here to tell his side of story, how would we know? Your precious disciple even obliterated his soul, how can we get to the bottom of this?”
Shi Lang nodded and said, “Then how about I call over my youngest and have her narrate what happened? Then you would be able to discern if the death of your disciple was worth it. If you still have trouble swallowing the truth, then I would definitely have a duel with you.”
Sect Master Yingxan shivered in rage, Shi Lang was basically telling her that if she has a problem, then first he will uncover the truth behind it and humiliate her, if she doesn’t back off he would beat her. Earlier she didn’t expect him to send out the iron fist option of going back or duel and now this. Was it not a slap that he was throwing in the face of her sect?
Yingxan frowned and asked, “Hall Master Shi, are you trying to strong arm me?”
Shi Lang raised his brow and radiated a strong pressure. The people all fell pale in just a blink. However, Shi Lang restrained himself again and he said, “Sect Master Yingxan, if I wanted to strong arm you, I would have started by subduing you with my strength or telling you that all the elders in Asura Hall can take you on and you should be aware of that.
If you think you can just try to gain moral high ground with me, then you ought to recalculate. I ask you, don’t you know full well how low your disciple can go to get his way with a girl? Is this the first time while he made such a move? Shall I dig out the entire life record and publish it?”
His stern voice caused Yingxan to shiver, but this time not from anger, but fear. If such a thing was to be made public it would be equal to smearing the Enchanting Dao sect’s face. Shi Lang noted this and said, “You should realize that character is more important than talent. Also, it was easy for your disciple to have a quick death at my daughter’s hands. Because I am far more cruel and would have made that bum experience the agony of nine hells before killing him.”
With those words, the people realized that Shi Lang was indeed capable of doing such a thing. They sighed and then apologized for causing such a ruckus. However, to make sure that the people of the Asura Hall don’t get hated, isolated or avoided by other people, Shi Lang made a vocal decree right from the spot, “If any of you run into a conflict, record the situation on your body cams and transmit them back to the Hall before making any moves. This includes the elders. In a few days, a new protocol will be issued and you better follow them. Even the elders, if they tried to avoid these things, they would be punished in accordance to the intensity of their offence.”
His decree was the heavenly command for the people of the Asura Hall, even the new joinees feared Shi Lang’s rage, they have seen that the punishment department headed by Commander Silence, or Elder Arkham was rather ruthless, if the person accused of something cannot provide counter evidence or explain his or her reasoning, they would be punished in a severe manner.
Many people managed to get away because they had valid reasons, so the system was fair, but they never had to follow the protocols to record the event. They did take Dao Oaths, but now that they could record things and submit them as evidence, things would be easier and fairer.
After the debacle settled, the people with Yingxan left the place, and the latter herself dashed away to handle the situation at her sect and give it a thorough clean up.
….
Shi Lang sat cross-legged on the ground with his eyes closed but his forehead was covered with cold sweat, his body seemed fine but if someone was to look at him microscopically, they would find that he was shivering at a very high speed.
His cultivation had not been this painful from the time he stepped through the body refinement realm. Even the lightning tribulations didn’t bear this much trouble for him. The Terran could swear that had it not been for the fact that he knew Nishan could not lie, he would have thought that these people have told him all these things to sabotage his growth.
However, as the first branch of the Dao Tree was extended into his left arm meridian, he found that the painful sensation in the body receded and his arm felt cool and pleasant. He had no idea how many days it has been since he started cultivating this level, and after consolidating the gains, he opened his eyes, he saw that the courtyard was covered with dew, he checked his communicator and realized that it has been a week.
Shi Lang frowned and squeezed out a drop of blood from his finger and flicked it onto the floor of the pavilion. The clone formed and Shi Lang said, “I will be cultivating, you will serve as the figurehead and gather the information, if it is something important, wake me up.”
The clone nodded and vanished from the spot, Shi Lang closed his eyes again and began to align the second branch through his right arm and follow the procedure again and again. The Terran was not known for his patience, but his creality, he didn’t even spare himself let along others.
…
The news of his method of dealing with the people spread across the lands, and many wanted to confront him but they were slammed shut when the people who supported Shi Lang’s way to handle directly stepped in to take a united stance. There would always be scum amongst them and while they could not keep them all under control all the time, it was true that they would not let such people walk away without any fear of punishment and retribution in their hearts.
