Ace Of Terrans - Chapter 1134: Tribulation.

Chapter 1134: Tribulation.
Shi Lang didn’t have the time to pay attention to the whole world, he was focused on his cultivation and guiding the people around him. He was not selfless, he didn’t release this information to the people, because they had established their own ties and were seeking benefits from those alliances.
While Asura Hall had connection with the people of the sage races, the rest of the people had come in contact with the so called fallen races. These races didn’t have any saints in their plains but they did have the legacy left behind by the saints that came through. In exchange of spiritual resources, the information was exchanged.
The human realm was thriving and the skirmishes around the Dao Plain intersections have reduced. The myriad races were now using legitimate means to come through the portal connections and train the youth of their races. They didn’t send the absolute best of their youth to the unfamiliar territories but that was not the case with Asura Hall.
Yu Xeidi and Xiao Meng had gone to visit the Jewel Eye Race. Hao Mei had gone to the Sun Archer realm but she stayed their only briefly. The reason? She didn’t like the heat there and could just learn by sampling all the books in her communicator. She then experimented with the herbs fro the Sun Archer plain and then gave the recipes to Nishan and his subordinates.
This was the advantage they had, they did everything to learn more and grow stronger. Along with this, the information and knowledge from the Fallen Races was also diverted to the Asura Hall. The agents didn’t get perks for nothing. The intelligence network they had built was that extensive.
While the human race was growing, Shi Lang was going through hell, yes, he was putting himself through hell to achieve the seeker realm. He was not the only one, all the elders of the Asura Hall were doing the same. The air in the hall was so stringent that it was almost tangible. All the geniuses have been called back and the place was on high alert.
The other forces knew that something was going on, but Hao Mei, who was in command didn’t care to clarify such things or cover them up. The human race respected Shi Lang and the Asura Hall, while some people with greedy intentions wanted to make a move, but when they spotted Shi Lang’s clone coming out personally and killing a few people, they all ran into the distance.
They had no idea that Shi Lang, the hall master would personally act and guard the people of the hall. His image soared and so did the fear that originated in the hearts of those who wished to exploit the situation.
Meanwhile Shi Lang was busy upgrading his level, and he was going crazy with cultivation. In three months, his main limbs have been connected well with his Dao Tree, and his power was on another level, but even now he was not in the upper realm as he wanted to.
One day while resting, he found that the branches of the Dao Tree were similar to the meridians in his body, one hundred and eight, all big and small, while the trunk of the tree would be lining along with his spine.
The Terran was in so much pain with just his four limbs when he was fusing them that it was driving him crazy. However, he knew that the best shortcut in cultivation was no shortcut. Thinking about this, he continued cultivating and his speed was getting faster. As a Terran, Shi Lang had complete control over his neurons, and so, he muted the pain across his body and proceeded.
Initially he didn’t entertain this idea because he wanted to familiarize with his strength augmentation. Every branch fused with his body gave him new strength and he wanted to find out how stronger he would become. Now that he had the initial data to calculate the growth and adjust himself, Shi Lang used the qualities of the Terran genes.
However, other than the Terrans, the other people were not so lucky. Shi Lang spent several days in seclusion that gradually turned into weeks and then months. Hao Mei held her end in the management and she grew stronger in her tactics and the soft heartedness that she always had transformed into a subtle edge.
Anyone who tried to take advantage of hers, was dealt in kind and reciprocation was hundred percent. None of the people in the Asura Hall doubted her now. This was what Hao Mei had become a name that sent chills down the spine of the people who tried to hold bad intentions towards the Asura Hall.
…
After two years, Shi Lang opened his eyes and walked out of the chamber. Yes, he had been in seclusion for two years but as he walked, his spine emitted strong crackling sounds, and his body seemed to be moving in slow motion. At this moment, the sky was covered with black clouds. The tribulation for his progression had arrived.
Shi Lang put on his battle armor as he appeared in the void outside the Asura Hall. Hao Mei nodded the situation and said, “Everyone, erect the defense formations around the formation to the complete extent, and call back everyone who is out on patrol. Things are about to get stormy.”
The alert was issued and the people all dashed back inside the Asura Hall defense formation. Prince Beiming appeared in the command center, but he didn’t say anything. Hao Mei was in charge and he respected the young lady a lot. Hao Mei said, “Raise the vigil code to red, if anyone from outside approaches target them with saint killer canons. Fire once to deter, and second to kill. Got it?”
“Yes, Young Miss.”
The people in the command center initiated a lot of array channels and then they initiated the canon defense. These people all knew that once Hao Mei goes cold and decisive, she would shatter the reality itself.
After a few minutes, the hall began to shake.
…
Shi Lang stood in the void and his gaze was indifferent. He crossed his legs and closed his eyes as suddenly a streak of lightning rushed down towards him. Shi Lang didn’t even bother to move, the lightning bolt landed on his shoulder and he channeled the destructive force in the tribulation bolt through his body.
Every inch of his skin was lit up with golden color runes from the Dao comprehension and the lightning energy pressurized the Dao Tree Branches and meridians to either merge or break. Shi Lang felt a pain like never before. It was as if he was extending all the tree branches into his meridians at the same time.
This whole thing was crazy, but he had to do it no matter what. Shi Lang shivered, but he didn’t show it on his face. The people were watching him and he had an image to keep up with. His face was turning red as the blood circulation was rising high.
It took him seven minutes to deal with the first bolt. Second bolt of lightning shot at him from the clouds and then it hit his body. The pressure from this bolt was twice stronger and Shi Lang clenched his fists as he tightened all his muscles to brace for the impact.
…
One of the people inside the command center, said, “Young Miss, Hall Master is suffering from elevated pain.”
Hao Mei nodded with no expression on her face, and said, “It’s fine.”
She didn’t say anything but her fists were clenched hard. Amelia approached behind her and patted her head. Hao Mei was surprised but she didn’t lose her composure.
Amelia smiled and replied, “Good, you are totally taking after your father.”
Hao Mei smiled and conveyed telepathically, ’His cells are being destroyed at a high speed. His healing is barely keeping up.”
Amelia nodded and said, “Don’t worry, this is the test of heavens and this is how it is supposed to be. He will be fine.”
Hao Mei nodded, and someone said, “Hall Mistress, Young Miss Yu is out on the walls, she is almost outside the barrier.”
Hao Mei turned to look at a spirit screen and said, “Leave her be, she is comprehending sword art.”
The people were shocked and at this moment a calm voice sounded, “God damn, are you all taking after Shi Lang and losing your minds?”
The speaker was Tian Long, and Fairy Moon Jade sighed beside him as she said, “This is called hunger to grow strong. You just focus on resting, your arm is still sore right.”
Tian Long was slammed shut but the group of elders were watching the third lightning bolt, a lightning dragon heading towards Shi Lang with solemn expressions. They knew that Shi Lang had always faced higher degree of difficulty when going through tribulations, and every time they worry that he would turn into ashes.
…
Shi Lang raised his head as he saw the third bolt heading his way and he frowned, he had yet to dispel the power of the previous lightning bolt. He sighed and clenched his fist as he said, “Shura Boxing, Sequential Fist.”
He began to punch and one after the other, phantom fists began to manifest behind him. The punches collided with the lightning dragon and after a thousand punches, the dragon scattered, however, the destructive energy of lightning still assaulted Shi Lang head on.
