Shi Lang stood facing the third lightning bolt of the heavenly tribulation and had just attacked the bolt with his fists. The phantom of the fists hit the lightning bolt and caused it to dispel. However, it was not completely subdued. Shi Lang waved his hand and slashed at the void. The destructive energy from the surroundings directly hit his body and caused him to cough up blood.
However, Shi Lang was still staying tall in the void. He had been silently going through the tribulation, but now he frowned. He looked at the firmament, and said, “You fucking broken piece of consciousness. You dare to smite me like this while some asshole caused you to break down. Are you really the fair heaves that everyone swears by? Come, let me see how strong you are.”
The Terran threw caution to the wind. The fourth bolt of lightning shot through the skys, as if the heavens have accepted the challenge. Shi Lang’s hair turned slightly crimson and he said, “Holy Shura Body.”
His body turned into a mix of white jade with golden trims. Then he threw a punch with a typical boxing stance, but this motion was the epitome of anatomical harmony. The punch caused the void to shiver and ripple before it hit the lightning bolt coming at him. The sheer power of destruction that Shi Lang emitted from his body was concentrated on the point of contact.
When the fist touched the lightning bolt, his body was still being assaulted by the destructive energy left by the third bolt. However, this didn’t change the outcome, but this time, the lightning bolt was dismantled in its entirety. None of the people could fathom this. Shi Lang was fighting destruction from heavens with destruction of his own, and he wasn’t one bit faltered.
The Terran continued refining the energy coursing through his veins, and he could tell that he was getting stronger. His body was assimilating with the Dao Tree rather quickly. Suddenly, the fifth bolt of lightning shot from the skies. The speed and intensity that it displayed caused the void to tear from different places.
As the bolt drew closer to the Terran, the people saw it morph into a being of lightning. The figure of this person was similar to one of those heavenly soldiers they have seen back in the day when Shi Lang passed through a tribulation, but this time, things were not the same.
The heavenly soldier looked at Shi Lang and asked, “Are you ready?”
His voice echoed through the void. Shi Lang grasped the void and Raksha emerged from the void, as he said, “I see, such an honor.”
Then the two of them vanished from the spots.

Tian Long sucked in the deep breath as he asked, “Why is it that his tribulations are always so heavy handed?”
Tong Bai replied calmly, “Because he has always been the first to tread into a higher realm. This is why the heavens test him even more harshly.”
Fairy Moon Jade sighed and replied, “Indeed, the cost of being a pioneer is rather too much. However, if not for him, others would not have a chance to survive either. To dwell on a new path is uncertain and that could cause a lot of deaths and decline among the ranks of human cultivators.”
The rest of the people nodded in agreement. In the void, the two figures clashed, and till now they have been using nothing but their sheer strength. Shi Lang had yet to unleash the sword intent that he had been sharpening all these years. Similarly, the heavenly soldier also seemed to be holding back on his attacks. The impact caused the void to ripple and destroyed the vegetation in the surroundings, however, that was it.
This exchange left the people to wonder why these two guys were holding back. Shi Lang had his reasons and so did the Heavenly Soldier. They both were fighting at a high speed, and it was not just an exchange of blows, but also words.
In Shi Lang’s mind, the heavenly soldier said, “You accused the world consciousness of being unfair, but do you even know what it has been doing all this while? Why are experts from various races are put through stronger tribulations?”
Shi Lang replied, “I do have a conjecture, but still, I hold grudges, because I am just that petty.”
The heavenly soldier sighed, and replied, “The world consciousness is testing everyone that acts like the pioneer to make sure that if the person is really strong, than maybe they could kill the Realm Lord.”
Shi Lang shook his head and replied, “Killing him would need a lot of time and energy. Do you think I would be able to do that when the rules of this world are not complete? Also, he has a part of world consciousness mixed up with himself. So he would know everything that you try to do against him.”
The heavenly soldier said, “Do you think that it would be easy for him to absorb and integrate with the world consciousness, even if it is just a strand or an isolated section. He would not be able to completely digest it for the other epoch. The reason behind that tournament and killing the losers was to absorb all the strength and comprehension they have made all this time. Soon enough, he would try to spark another similar situation and feed on the weak. You ought to be careful.”
Shi Lang thought for a moment and said, “But why tell me about all this, a human?”
The heavenly soldier replied, “It is because only you have no limits. Your race may be weak but it holds the potential to advance and stand to the peak while in harmony with the Great Dao.”
Shi Lang frowned and replied, “That is not all, if you hide things then I will wait till the Realm Lords becomes an entity who can suppress everyone.”
The heavenly soldier frowned and said, “Fine, it is because you were proclaimed the champion of the Four Heavenly beasts. This is why the world consciousness is willing to trust you about this issue.”
Shi Lang nodded and replied, “That makes much better sense. Thank you. Now, shall we continue with the tribulation sincerely and get going?”

Outside, Shi Lang attacked the heavenly soldier with the sword intent that he had been holding back because they were talking inside his mindscape, and the intent was so strong that it tore the very fabric of the void. It revealed a huge spatial abyss that was capable of sucking in the world itself and scatter it like dust.
Tian Long sucked in a deep breath and mumbled, “Fuck, the destruction he causes is already reaching a level that none has ever even imagined before.”
The people nodded, while Yu Xiedi stood on the side watching the whole sword fight. She wasn’t called the sword battle goddess for nothing. She was as crazy about the way of sword that refining artifacts have been reduced to the secondary profession for her.
Shi Tao saw this and smiled, before she made a seal with her hand and began to record the whole tribulation in a higher definition so that it could be used by her younger sister later on. Yu Xieidi was so engrossed that she could not even think about anything else. However, the one to gain enlightenment today, was not Yu Xiedi, but it was Hao Mei.
Her sword aura was climbing like crazy and was raging toward the skies, and Amelia waved her hand to cast a barrier around her. Many people gained small and big rewards from this fight, and particularly just one move.
They all comprehended or understood the main meaning of destruction. The heavenly soldier came into contact with the sword intent and he was also torn apart without given the chance to counter or even block. Shi Lang was pissed and he had decided to take this guy down in a one swipe.
The sixth bolt of lightning fell from the black clouds, and ten such heavenly soldiers condensed in the void. They all oozed with a strength that Shi Lang had never seen before, but that didn’t bother the young man at all, he had one clear goal, and that was to pass the tribulation.
From the get go, he released his strongest attacks, and the sequence continued, although in the process, he incurred serious wounds, and his clothes were torn upon contact with a higher level soldier. Yet, after several hours of battle he finished with the tribulation and he gained the heavenly radiance.
