Chapter 105: Chapter 90: Splitting Up (Second Chapter Coming in a Few Minutes)
“Brother Su, there should be a more detailed plan, right? I wonder if you could share it with us. Don’t worry, we won’t steal your plan.”
Kuang Miao said seriously.
Zhang Su chuckled and laughed, saying, “I’m not afraid of you stealing it. What I just told you is detailed enough. It’s about sending someone to use music on their phone to lure away as many zombies from the gas station as possible, while the rest sneak in to kill zombies and gather supplies.”
“What… what about the person luring the zombies away?” Song Yijun, who had been somewhat unnoticed, asked.
Zhang Su replied, “There are two options here. If you’re fast enough, lose the zombies and return to the gas station to regroup. If you feel you can’t make it back, meet at the agreed location.”
The four students frowned, feeling the plan sounded extremely risky.
Kuang Miao said, “Brother Su, can you give us some time to discuss it?”
Zhang Su glanced at the time and said, “I’ll give you three minutes, so hurry up. If it weren’t for you suddenly showing up, we’d already be enjoying ourselves at the gas station!”
“Very quick, very quick!”
Kuang Miao and his group immediately gathered together to discuss after hearing this.
Zhang Su wasn’t idle either. He gathered his group and whispered as if discussing some secrets.
There were things he hadn’t told Kuang Miao’s group. Firstly, the ultimate goals of the two groups were different!
Zhang Su and his team aimed for three vehicles, at least two, namely Haranda and the van. The H6 was optional, whereas Kuang Miao’s group aimed to search the convenience store for supplies!
Both groups aimed to enter the gas station, but their stay and exit method differed!
Of course, if things went well, Zhang Su wouldn’t mind filling up the H6 before leaving.
Also, he had only told Kuang Miao’s group a vague method to lure zombies. He already had ideas for the actual steps but saw no need to reveal them if cooperation couldn’t be achieved.
Three to four minutes quickly passed, and Kuang Miao’s group came to a decision. He looked at Zhang Su and said, “Brother Su, we think your plan is feasible, but… How are we gonna decide who lures the zombies? You can’t expect only us to do it, can you?”
Zhang Su wasn’t surprised they agreed, as the convenience store supplies were too tempting, so he smiled and said, “You’re worrying too much. We’re cooperating, not using you as cannon fodder! Let me ask, among you four, who is the best fighter?”
“Him…”
Soon, Kuang Miao, Pei Lan, and Song Yijun pointed to the same person, the one who was crying on the ground earlier, Chen Hanzhou.
“Yes, I practiced karate, and my rank isn’t low!” Chen Hanzhou said confidently.
Zhang Su laughed, “Karate, that’s the Japanese stuff, right? Empty hands? I want to see you handle zombies with empty hands!”
He was trained in Mad Dog Fist by Master Chen, learning the most practical unrestricted combat, having a dislike for styles where performance overshadowed real combat.
“Well, um… It was just a joke. You definitely need weapons!”
Chen Hanzhou was refuted, knowing that killing zombies requires destroying the brain; empty-handed wasn’t realistic.
“Alright, Chen Hanzhou is one. Who’s the second best fighter?”
Zhang Su didn’t continue to argue.
Kuang Miao and Song Yijun exchanged a look, deferring to each other before determining Kuang Miao was slightly stronger…
“Okay, so that’s Pei, Pei Lan, right? Pei Lan and Song Yijun will lure the zombies, while Kuang Miao and Chen Hanzhou follow us in to fight. I’ll send a tough guy to safeguard your zombie-luring mission, Lu Yubo.”
“Yes, Brother Su, leave it to me!”
Lu Yubo pounded his backpack against his chest.
“Um…” Kuang Miao interrupted, “Brother Su, if we send two people to lure zombies, you’re only sending one from your five?”
“Yeah, that’s kind of unfair…”
Pei Lan said weakly, his gaze lightly sweeping across the faces of the three women, seemingly hoping for a female companion.
“Do you think going in to loot supplies will be easy, that we’re sending four people to grab your stuff? How about this, we five will lure the zombies, and you four will clean up the remaining zombies at the gas station, okay?”
Zhang Su spread open his hands, shaking his body roguishly, making a very upfront proposal.
He did this because he was confident; besides the H6 having keys, the keys for the other two vehicles were with him. Even if Kuang Miao’s group goes first, they won’t be able to drive away, and it was uncertain if they could even fight their way in.
Lu Yubo, seeing Kuang Miao hesitating, said impatiently, “Brother Su, just let me lure the zombies myself, don’t bother with these timid kids.”
“Hey, why are you insulting people…”
“Yeah, what’s with the name-calling?”
Immediately, Chen Hanzhou and Song Yijun protested. Insulting someone is one thing, but this was too much!
“Stop arguing, stop arguing! Brother Su, let’s go with your plan!”
Kuang Miao cowardly agreed, knowing the combat capabilities of their group. Against one or two zombies, there was hope; but faced with three or five, it would be tough!
And inside the gas station, there were countless zombies. If there were more than ten, it would be hopeless.
“Okay, now it’s time to make a detailed plan. Listen carefully…”
Zhang Su began taking out a loud old phone from his bag and explained to the three from the zombie luring squad about precautions, how to lure the zombies away as much as possible, ensure their safety, and how to escape.
“I just thought of a great idea, slightly adjusting the cars at the entrance can create a trap where zombies can enter but can’t exit!”
