Armipotent - Chapter 2125: Not Playing Around

Chapter 2125: Not Playing Around
Tang Shaoyang didn’t stop Zara even though he knew how the fight would end. In fact, he gathered Zhao Zhong and the others to watch.
The trio of the Lysvand Family, along with Ruben and Jovrick, the five knights were also interested in the fight. They were responsible for finding the location for the fight and setting up the barrier in order to avoid attracting unwanted attention.
The only people who were not interested in the fight were Yu and Kate. Both had become nerds with their hunger for alchemy knowledge and ingredients they could find in the Sacred Realm.
They did a lot of experiments, trying to use the recipe registered in the system and the one in the sacred, mixing them together to discover a better potion. They were trying to improve the current recipe, whether it was a healing potion or another potion.
The master and disciple were more interested in that, so they stayed in the Yang Clan’s estate most of the time. The time they left was when they had nothing to read or ran out of ingredients for their experiment.
Most of the people who came to the Sacred Realm were present. In a mountain to the north of the Immortal City. It was quite far, maybe more than twenty kilometers away from the city. With the barrier, the people from the Immortal City should not be able to sense or notice the fight.
“Are you sure you’re letting them fight?” Avyn came next to Tang Shaoyang and asked.
She was the only one who didn’t agree with the fight, sympathizing with Ouyang Biya’s situation. She was in a similar position to Ouyang Biya. Her family was destroyed by the Nirvana Alliance.
Even though she didn’t witness how her family was destroyed, she inherited the memories. The difference was that Ouyang Biya’s memories were fresh, and her memories were not.
She tried to persuade Zara, but was shut down when she listened to the reason why it ended up in this fight. But there was one person who could stop the fight: Tang Shaoyang.
“Do you think it’s a good idea to stop them? The conflict will fester, and it will create worse bad blood between the two if they don’t resolve it now. That’s your role after the fight is over, to mediate them afterward.”
Tang Shaoyang thought it was better for both to let out their frustration in a fight. As long as Zara didn’t kill Ouyang Biya. That was what he asked for from Zara, and she agreed with it.
“The fight is actually better for Ouyang Biya, too. This will help her to calm down instead of blindly picking a fight with a random person from the Murim Alliance. Let her lose some steam.”
Avyn could not refute that, as there was some truth to it. The fight would indeed help Ouyang Biya to calm down, but she didn’t know why it was her role to mediate them.
“Wouldn’t it be better for you to mediate them? Both will listen to you.”
“They will listen to me, but I am not a woman,” Tang Shaoyang knew they would listen to him. If he didn’t allow them to fight, they would not fight.
However, there was one thing that Avyn had, and he didn’t have. Avyn understood their feelings better than he, and in fact, he was quite dense. He could only read their moods thanks to their connection; that was it.
“But only a woman understands another woman, no? In that case, you are better off mediating them than me because you understand their feelings better. And tell me which spirits don’t listen to you, too?”
Even Doombringer, who was quite wild even to Tang Shaoyang, listened to Avyn. Even someone like Vandir listened to her. She was literally the big boss of the spirits.
“Anyway, it’s too late to stop them now.”
As Tang Shaoyang said that, Ouyang Biya started the fight. She formed sword energy, hundreds of them. It was similar to Tang Shaoyang’s Chaos Blade.
Tang Shaoyang thought Zara would play with Ouyang Biya, trying to entertain herself with the fight since she was bored. He was wrong about it.
Zara’s black wings opened out, and at the same time, she released a powerful burst of energy and pressure. The incoming flying swords disappeared instantly.
Tang Shaoyang could sense the intense pressure as he immediately set up a barrier, and so did Avyn. It was to protect Liang Suyin and the others from the outburst.
They were just Demi-God Ranks. If for their quick action, they might pass out.
Her skin turned dark, her eyes shone in violet light as her wings kept releasing dark energy while she slowly floated in the air. That was when her black-feather wing slowly turned something like black smoke, a shadow.
A pair of black horns emerged on her forehead, curving upward. Then the space around her started to crack, looking like an unstable space. It was quickly spread out, and it looked like the space in the area was about to break apart.
The dark energy that came out from her wings fell to the ground and spread, painting the ground pitch black. The area touched by the dark energy turned into something like a void, very similar.
The dark cloud formed in the sky as violet-colored thunder flashed beyond it, followed by a ferocious rumble.
Tang Shaoyang was surprised as Zara never showed this form to him. This was his first time seeing her in this form, and this showed that Zara was not playing around. She was trying to finish the fight quickly.
Nikolas burst out in laughter, cackling unrestrained as if he just found something funny. Maybe seeing Zara in this form was funny to him.
He turned toward Tang Shaoyang, wiping the tears from his eyes, “You see this, Boss? Don’t anger women. In your case, don’t make women angry, or you will have a hard time.”
The pressure got into Ouyang Biya as it could be seen from her expression. She seemed to be caught off guard as well and got nervous all of a sudden, no longer having the same confidence when she challenged Zara.
Zara was truly not playing around. Her figure disappeared, a teleportation. She appeared behind Ouyang Biya instantly. That gave Ouyang Biya no chance to react as Zara struck her back.
Tang Shaoyang frowned because he could not see Zara’s movement. It meant it was not a movement, but a teleportation. That made sense considering her Space Power. With that form, it made sense she could teleport any time.
Ouyang Biya was shot down to the ground with her chest first. Before she could get up, a hand appeared from the ground, pulling her down to the shadow world.
Both disappeared from the surface for like twenty seconds. Twenty seconds later, Ouyang Biya was flung off the shadow into the air.
Blood could be seen around her lips, and her eyes shook in fear as she stabilized herself in the air. She was so focused on tracking Zara that she didn’t notice that dozens of black constructs in the shape of sticks were above her.
The black construct came down at her at the same time, hitting her from behind. That brought her down to the ground once more. In a panic, she tried to break free from the black construct that pinned her down, but to no avail.
Zara slowly came out from the shadow, right in front of the struggling Ouyang Biya. The fight was already over at the first attack from Zara. However, the Goddess of Death didn’t plan to stop there.
She raised her right foot and was about to stomp Ouyang Biya like a bug. However, a figure appeared next to Ouyang Biya.
Avyn could no longer watch the fight and interfered. She was in her dragon transformation form and stopped the stomp with her foot as well while looking Zara in the eyes.
A dark and cold energy burst out, but none affected the two. Just like how the dark energy could not reach Avyn, the cold energy could not get closer to Zara.
“Didn’t you make a promise not to kill her?” Avyn questioned Zara.
“I did, and I am still sticking to my promise,” Zara didn’t back down, even when Avyn interfered. In fact, it could be seen from her gaze that she was kinda excited to fight Avyn.
“This is not enough to kill her, just enough to destroy her shoulder. The pain will be a good reminder for her not to pick a fight randomly just because she is in a bad mood. This will also teach her to behave as well as how to respect the people she serves.”
Avyn looked down, and as Zara said, if she didn’t stop it, it would hit Ouyang Biya’s shoulder, not her head. That was not enough to kill someone in Ouyang Biya’s rank.
“So what are you going to do now? You have won! Are you going to continue bullying her? Are you having fun bullying a weakling?” Avyn wanted this to stop, even though she didn’t voice it out directly.
Zara smiled, “Then are you going to fight me on her behalf?”
