Atticus's Odyssey: Reincarnated Into A Playground - Chapter 1338: Tea

Chapter 1338: Tea
When he was done, Whisker, as expected, burst into laughter, Ozeroth was even more enraged, and the Eldorians were… baffled.
“I never thought I’d see the day my son would get bullied,” Avalon muttered under his breath. Magnus, hovering beside him, nodded.
His expression stayed impassive, but those who knew him could tell he was shocked as well.
But no one was more shocked than Oberon. Atticus had reached a divine level in his mind. To think even he could be affected by such mundane things… but the shock only lasted a moment.
A shudder ran through him at the thought. If that had happened to Atticus, it meant retaliation was coming.
’He killed someone already,’ he thought, clearing his throat. Of course, his case was different.
“Man, it’s so hilarious.” Whisker finally stopped laughing, patting Atticus on the shoulder. “Now I regret not following you to school, my star actor. How did I forget how much of a walking entertainment you are?”
Atticus sighed and glanced towards the fleet. “You’re right about one thing, it is cliché.”
He had hoped he could deal with the viscount and end this useless feud, but his brother had come instead.
“Imagine the viscount has a harem,” Whisker joked. Atticus winced.
“C’mon! It’ll be so fun to deal with an army of vengeful brothers!”
“I really hope not…”
Atticus suddenly caught sight of someone leaving the fleet and approaching their planet.
The man bore a certain resemblance to the god he’d killed earlier, both with distinct blazing hair, eyes of the Redflame, a slender physique, and a well trimmed goatee.
The god stopped just a few meters from their world, blazing eyes fixed downward.
Atticus knew from what he’d read in the Willhall that a god could not access another god’s world without permission. It wasn’t just about entry, they couldn’t even see into the world.
Atticus could see him, but this god could not.
“Atticus Ravenstein!” the god’s voice exploded like a cracking inferno across the skies.
“I know you can hear me, coward! Do you think you can scurry back to your little rat’s nest and hide behind your pathetic brood?!
“You killed my brother using some unruly methods and think yourself a god? You’re nothing more than a cheater, a pretender!
“And this pathetic excuse for a world is no different! Hah! What a joke. All I see are mongrels cowering behind a fool who hides when true gods call him out.
“The middle planes is too good for trash like you! Even your pathetic ancestors would deny your disgraceful existence! Atticus Ravenstein! Come out and face me, coward! Or will you keep trembling in the dark while I, a true god, challenge you?”
“Ahhhhh!!!!” Ozeroth’s body became blinding, and an intense golden light flooded the space. The Eldorians had to hold him back from tearing into space and putting this bastard in his place.
“Let me have him! Let me have that bastard!”
Whisker laughed. “Damn, you’ve gotta give it to him though, he has a sharp mouth.”
Atticus only sighed. He had come here hoping for a more peaceful time than what he’d experienced at the Willhall, only to face this.
“Let’s get this over with,” Atticus said coldly.
“Oh, there’s no way I’m missing this. Y’all have fun holding him down.” Whisker waved to the Eldorians and moved to stand beside Atticus.
“No, wait. Let me come too!” Ozeroth demanded.
“Can I trust you to keep yourself under control?”
Ozeroth gritted his teeth but nodded.
“Promise me.” Someone as prideful as him would keep his promise.
“I promise.”
Atticus nodded to the Eldorians, who released him.
“We’ll be back soon,” he said to them.
“Be careful, son.”
“Of course, dad.”
Atticus met eyes with Magnus, whose gaze said everything he needed to. Be careful. Atticus smiled and nodded.
With the effects of the plane will active, the Eldorians couldn’t leave the planet even if they wanted to. It was a thought that pained Magnus and Avalon. They had to awaken their wills as soon as possible.
With the Eldorians watching, Atticus, Whisker, and Ozeroth shot out from the planet, appearing before the Redflame god, who was visibly taken aback.
“I’m surprised you showed,” the god said, frowning. When he got no response from Atticus, he glanced at Whisker, then at Ozeroth, who stared at him with an intense gaze.
He smiled and raised a hand.
From within the fleet of warships, numerous warriors shot out, hovering behind him in a straight horizontal line.
All wore the same robe, emblazoned with flaming engravings. Each had the same blazing hair and eyes. They hit their arms on their chests with a resounding bam, then stilled.
Atticus didn’t need to think twice to know, it was a show of force. He still maintained his silence.
“You killed my beloved brother using unruly tricks. I have come here—”
“I killed a stupid fool who didn’t know his place,” Atticus cut in before he could continue.
“Your reason for coming here doesn’t matter. I will treat you the same way I treat those who stand in my way.”
The heat in space spiked.
A figure left the lineup of warriors and came to stand directly behind Nerrot, hand on his sword.
“My liege, gi—”
“Stand down.”
The warrior hesitated but obeyed. Nerrot hadn’t lost his smile.
“Big talk for a sapling that doesn’t recognize his position.” Nerrot shook his head.
“Compared to the meager place you crawled from, the middle plane is not where you can run your mouth.” He hovered forward.
“Let me enlighten you on what you’re up against. I am one of the countless sons of the great Viscount. He’s such an untouchable figure to you that he didn’t deem you important enough to handle personally. His world is more than seventy times bigger than your pathetic one. His power is vast, untouchable, unlimited to someone like you.
“He chose to send me instead. But I’ll consider you lucky. Of all my siblings, I’m the reasonable one. Why don’t you invite me over for tea, and we’ll talk this out?”
