- Chapter 909 - 384: Candle Dragon! A Time Series Dragon Species? (Part 2)

Figures and vehicles coming and going one after another.
However, in this block, it’s so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
As if it’s a road leading to the unknown.
But Su Ping knows, just before stepping onto this path, he clearly saw from his original spot that there were real human figures walking on this path too.
It seemed like the most ordinary block.
But once you step in, everything changes.
More bizarrely, besides him and Zhu Hong, even the passing pedestrians who saw the strangeness of the two of them had no intention of stepping onto this street.
This street seems to exist between reality and illusion.
Between existence and nonexistence.
“Is this Dragon City?”
Su Ping murmured to himself.
Zhu Hong smiled slightly: “Not yet, enter further up ahead, and you’ll know.”
At the end of the road is a railing full of ceremonial sense.
As if it’s the dividing point that thoroughly separates reality from illusion, yet perfectly merges the Imperial Capital and Dragon City.
Su Ping nodded, and without speaking further, followed closely behind Zhu Hong, each step he took, the phantom shadows behind him gradually disappeared into the mist.
But oddly enough, when he looked back carefully, he could still see it very clearly.
Finally, they arrived in front of this dividing railing.
The Dragon Emblem hung on his chest for a long time, a faint dragon’s chant sounded, and the railing slowly lifted.
The two stepped inside.
“Su Ping, welcome to Dragon City!”
Zhu Hong spoke with a smile, while Su Ping had already looked past his line of sight at the vast world behind him.
This is indeed a city.
But not a city in the conventional sense as commonly understood.
Because everything that appears here doesn’t conform to some realities and rules of the real world!
Very abstract.
For example, right in front of him not far away, a gigantic pavilion is actually floating in the sky.
For example, Su Ping clearly remembered, when he came, behind him was that street, but when he instinctively turned around, that street was gone, replaced by an enormous river.
The water flowed, right beneath his feet not far away.
Yet, the waters seemed to emerge from the ground below his feet out of nowhere.
And without any riverbanks, it didn’t flow elsewhere, just rushed toward one place.
Unable to touch any other places besides the river.
Weird!
Su Ping, let alone arriving here, had never even dreamt of such a bizarre place.
“Is this a Secret Realm?”
Su Ping stepped on the ground and belatedly asked in surprise.
Zhu Hong smiled slightly, just about to speak when a voice answered in Su Ping’s ear even faster:
“No, this is a whole new world!”
At first listen, this voice sounded a bit old, but apart from the first word, the subsequent words spoken included both male and female, both young and old tones.
It’s hard to imagine such a voice coming from a living creature’s mouth.
And not synthesized by AI and machines.
Yet that’s exactly the case.
Su Ping turned his head to look over in confusion, and at that glance, his skin crawled nearly all over.
What kind of creature is this?
Dark red mane, one black and one white deer-like horns, and corresponding black and white completely different eyes, along with a face somewhat similar to many of the Dragon Clan, but distinctly unique upon closer inspection.
A small Fire Sprout flickered on the head between the Dragon Horns.
Yet this face somewhat resembled a human.
The body is also extremely peculiar, as Su Ping clearly saw, beneath this head was a human body donned in traditional clothing, with a torso and limbs.
But beyond this body, he once again saw an odd Divine Dragon-like body, also connected to the head that was half resembling a human, half resembling a dragon.
What the heck is this?
If not for Su Ping’s rather strong acceptance ability, and having had his endurance strengthened a bit more by the Celestial Tomb Mark in the past days, he felt his sanity level might have gone madly down this instant.
A head that looks neither human nor dragon.
Yet seemingly possessing both a human and dragon-like body.
Is this a Dragon Clan from Dragon City?
What kind of Dragon Clan would look like this?
Su Ping pursed his lips and glanced at Zhu Hong beside him.
However, the smile on Zhu Hong’s face hadn’t changed a bit; hearing Su Ping’s question, he nodded:
“This is indeed a very unique Secret Realm; at least I’ve never seen any Secret Realm comparable to Dragon City.”
Su Ping blinked, looked weirdly at Zhu Hong, then again weirdly at that peculiar Old Dragon not far away.
Master Zhu, although not young, still shouldn’t miss such an obvious voice, right?
Moreover, if he didn’t hear it, there’s no reason to wait until the Old Dragon finished speaking before responding, right?
Shouldn’t he speak immediately?
So, Su Ping tentatively glanced at Zhu Hong:
“Master Zhu, you can’t see or hear anything?”
Zhu Hong looked at him in confusion:
“What are you babbling about, kid? Alright, with the Dragon Emblem, you can come and go from Dragon City as you please. You can slowly explore its layout and arrangement later, but let’s meet with the Holy Dragon first, shall we?”
“But…”
