Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest - Chapter 1816: Max Level

Chapter 1816: Max Level
—–
“Netherworld Farming Arts – Netherworld Mother Nature’s Wrath!”
RUMBLE!
All the plants fused together into a massive hand, crushing her foes without mercy and flattening them completely into the ground. Two died instantly after Mark had already weakened them severely.
BAAAM!
The hand pursued the third monster, which had dodged the initial strike and now fled in terror from this strange enemy and the even stranger power it wielded.
“You’re not going anywhere! Nether Spirit Totem Nail!”
Elayne launched dozens of nails toward the creature. They pierced its body and detonated into small soul explosions. The monster released one final, agonizing cry before collapsing, overwhelmed and bleeding from every wound.
The remaining two Tier 3 monsters finally tore free from the plants, only to face Mother Nature’s Wrathful Hand once more. It smashed them relentlessly into the ground.
Though less injured than the others, they endured the assault and shattered the hand with their sharp scythe arms. In desperation, they spewed poisonous acid from their mouths, fighting to survive.
Elayne and Mark moved in perfect unison. A starlight sword and a blazing blade swung forward. Slashes of holy light and burning soul fire enveloped their bodies, while sharp nails—dozens upon dozens—covered the monsters and exploded without pause.
One creature soon bore over a hundred nails across its form. All detonated at once.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“The fourth is dead! The fifth is running!” Elayne called, recalling the nails as fatigue began to settle in.
“I’ve got this!” Mark roared. He summoned a bow and arrow from his forge, poured his spirit power into the projectile, and fired. “Phoenix Arrow!”
FLASH!
The arrow streaked forward and transformed into a giant ghostly phoenix of red and spectral flames. It let out a menacing cry before piercing the monster’s body and exploding.
The creature perished in that instant, dropping to the ground still burning in agony. Elayne exhaled in relief and approached Mark. She could feel both their souls growing stronger.
Leveling was coming again!
She glanced behind her. Not only had her allies eliminated the lesser monsters, but Chalk and Blank had taken down a Tier 4 beast on their own, contributing to the shared experience.
Ding!
[Level Up!]
[Level Up!]
[Level Up!]
[Level Up!]
[Level Up!]
[Congratulations, you have Leveled Up to Level 100/100! You have reached Max Level.]
[You have now met one of the requirements for Class Rank Up.]
[Necessary Requirements]:
[Reach Level 100]: [100/100]
[Twenty Tier 2 Nether, Bone, or Ghost Beast Hearts]: [20/20]
[Five Tier 3 Nether, Bone, or Ghost Beast Hearts]: [5/5]
[Cultivate 20 Different Types of “Plants”]: [20/20]
[Crystalized Essence of a Nature Spirit]: [0/1]
“Huh? What’s this?” Elayne wondered aloud. “Wow, so I only need the last one? Hmm… where do I get that?”
“From me!” Gardenia announced, appearing before her. “It’ll take a little time to prepare, so wait a couple of minutes, will you? I need to concentrate all my power into it.”
“Okay,” Elayne nodded. “Do I need to go to a Class Changing Stone again once it’s ready?”
“Yes, most likely,” Gardenia replied. “As a non-player, you don’t get the privilege of changing classes easily without one—unless you miraculously obtain the Honorary Player Title that most of your people were gaining from you before.”
“Ah, no, that’s too hard to even imagine now…” Elayne sighed. “Nonetheless… Hm? There’s more information.”
[Once you achieve all requirements, please go to a Class Changing Stone. You will have to choose between these available Circles]:
[Circle Of Twilight]
[Circle of Dreams]
[Circle of Spores]
[Circle of Blighted]
[Circle of Decay]
“Circles?!” Elayne exclaimed, rubbing her chin in amazement. “D-Do they have details?”
She realized the system was providing advance notice so she could consider her options before reaching the next Tier in her Class.
And indeed, each one came with information.
[Circle Of Twilight]: A Circle that draws power from both Life and Death. This Circle specializes in the extermination of Undead Creatures and the purification of the Land.
[Circle of Dreams]: A Circle that draws power from Dreams themselves. This Circle specializes in Illusions, Mind Manipulation, Dream Traveling, and Teleportation.
[Circle of Spores]: A Circle that draws power from the darker side of Nature—spores, mushrooms, and their powers of Decay—deeply connected with Death and the Nether. This Circle specializes in spreading poison, inducing hallucinogenic effects, and infecting targets with symbiotic fungus to raise your own army of Fungal Dead.
[Circle of Blighted]: A Corrupted Circle that betrays Nature in exchange for immense power. It permanently corrupts your Nature Soul into a Blighted Nature Soul and grants overwhelming dark abilities over decay and destruction.
“W-Woah…” Elayne gasped. She had never encountered such choices before.
She fell into deep thought.
“This is like the Circles from Druids I’ve heard about… but now I can actually choose. They’re all so interesting. But… Blighted? Really? That’s an option… I suppose it makes sense, considering how I died and everything.
But no, I won’t choose it. I don’t want my Nature Soul corrupted. So that’s out. Twilight sounds tempting, an ultimate weapon against the Demon King of Death and his army. But… I have so many Undead friends. Wouldn’t wielding this Circle be dangerous for them?
And it also specializes in purifying the land, yet what I’m trying to do is coexist with the Netherworld, not cleanse or purify it.”
In the end, Elayne set aside Twilight and Blighted for now and weighed the Circle of Dreams against the Circle of Spores.
“Both seem strong and without any obvious drawbacks. Dreams could help me return to the Dream Plane, deepen my connection to that power, unlock new abilities, and maybe even find a way home through there… maybe. It’s not a bad choice at all. I’m really tempted.
However, the Circle of Spores is… incredible too. I’ve been wondering for a while how I could become a Necromancer when my powers seemed so incompatible—without turning into a Lich or an evil dark sorceress.
This Circle is perfect. It allows a symbiotic relationship with a colony of spores and mushrooms capable of so many tricky and fascinating things. Above all, it lets me infect bodies or corpses and transform them into Fungal Undead… That sounds way too cool!
Ugh, what should I choose? I’ll have to think about it…”
Lost in contemplation, Elayne walked back to her allies. They celebrated reaching Level 100 together. Chalk and Blank offered their congratulations and helped store all the corpses.
“Here, Elayne,” Blank said, presenting a Tier 4 Nether Beast Heart. She stared in surprise.
“E-Eh?! Is it really okay?!” she asked in disbelief.
“Consider it a gift for your hard work,” he replied with a gentlemanly smile. “I look forward to seeing you reach your next Class before you depart.”
“Thank you, Lord Blank,” Elayne said, nodding gratefully. “Shall we get going? I need to take a break now…”
“Alright, let’s go,” Blank agreed.
