Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest - Chapter 1913: Elayne VS Noah

CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRAAASH!
Noah slashed at Elayne’s Holy Spirit Wood Blade with his sharp claws, but they shattered instantly once Elayne grew serious. She unleashed a dozen rapid thrusting and stabbing attacks in succession.
“Heroic Legendary Sword Art.”
“Star Fall + Divine Spear!”
Elayne perfectly replicated the skills and techniques she had mastered in Brand New Life Online. Her Heroic Legendary Sword Arts flowed naturally through her new divine body.
It felt almost like recalling old memories. The more she wielded these techniques, the more they pulsed through her body and soul, sharpening her reflexes and reminding her of one undeniable truth.
Before she was a goddess, she had been a hero.
“Hmph.”
Noah clicked his tongue. He had been stalling with small talk because he had split off a part of himself and sent it to kill Olivia. That fragment had been intercepted by a glowing sun-flare arrow and exploded in the distance.
BOOOM!
“Bwahahaha! Did you think that would work, you damn bloodsucker?!”
A booming voice filled with divinity and the might of an ancient king rang out. It belonged to the father of Gilgamesh himself. Rider had arrived, mounted on his mighty Anzu Bird.
Olivia clung tightly to his back, clearly terrified.
“Rider, why do all these horrible things keep happening to me?”
“Well, Master, you’re the one who chose to participate in this war! Bwahahahahaha!”
As Rider laughed heartily, Olivia clenched her teeth. She activated her magical accessories and summoned her grimoire, which floated around her. At the same time, twelve conjuration formations appeared in the air.
“Unlike before, I am much better prepared this time,” Olivia declared. “Vampires are incredibly powerful beings. Some say they are humanity’s natural predators, born long ago to keep their population in check. They possess extraordinary abilities, but it takes them a long time to fully mature and develop those powers. Judging by his strength, he must be at least at the level of a Blood Elder!”
“Mesopotamia was never free of such creatures,” Rider said. “The Death Apostles, the highest among them, tormented my people since ancient times. But Uruk was not defenseless. We warriors, kings, and gods rose against the forces of darkness. Most people assumed they were created by evil gods or spirits, but the truth was far harsher. I only learned it after I died. You are completely right, Master.”
“What?” Olivia glanced at Rider while watching the vampire clash violently against Ruler. Explosions of crimson flames and golden light intensified around them.
“Vampires are the natural predators of humanity, born from this world itself to keep humans in check,” Rider explained. “No matter how many you kill, some will always return. But in these modern times, it seems a few have allied with humanity and achieved a fragile peace. That alone is also dangerous.”
“…?”
“This vampire and his family are clearly different from those connected to Assassin’s master,” the ancient king continued. “Because they no longer prey on humans, the planet itself has sent a new vampire family to take over this territory. The originals are no longer fulfilling their purpose and have rejected their very nature…”
“You’re saying Noah is only one of many?!” Olivia gasped.
“Perhaps. Perhaps not. Nonetheless, these bastards have weaknesses,” Rider said. “Although Noah seems to move freely under sunlight, he is clearly not immune to it. He is coating himself with his own shadows!”
“I see…” Olivia replied, already channeling spells of Holy Light and Sunlight elements. “So we fight?”
“Yes. We will fight alongside Ruler,” Rider declared. “This bastard’s intention is clear. He wants to kill us all! We must either vanquish him or weaken him enough to force him to flee!”
While they planned their strategy, Elayne continued her fierce clash with the Elder Vampire. Noah moved with terrifying speed, blinking through the skies as he transformed into shadows and even blood itself.
“You are strong, Ruler. A true Divine Spirit. It is an honor,” Noah said.
“Your small talk will not affect me, and dividing yourself into pieces will not work either,” Elayne replied, her eyes gleaming with bright gold and green light. “I can do the same.”
Back inside the ruined building, fragments of Noah shaped like shadow specters flew through the museum, hunting for Ruler and Assassin’s masters.
However, the ground suddenly shook. The many Spirit Seeds Elayne had planted earlier—just in case—began to germinate.
RUMBLE!
The corpses of the monsters they had slain earlier rose once more, fused with spirits and plants. Giant dinosaurs, living statues, and animated paintings charged at the specters, tearing Noah’s fragments apart and completely ruining his plans.
“Hm.”
Noah smiled, accepting that Elayne was no weakling.
Then he grabbed his own neck and pierced it with his claws.
“Lifeblood Exceed: Level 1.”
“…?!”
Elayne’s eyes widened in shock.
At that moment, everything she had analyzed about Noah with her divine eyes shattered. As if his very existence had been rewritten, the vampire pushed his internal blood to its absolute limits, using inner energy to make it flow at terrifying speeds.
This created an explosion of power so immense that only his incredibly tough body could withstand it.
And it did.
The near-endless energy produced by making his blood boil and surge endlessly caused him to evolve on the spot.
Thus, this wicked technique, one no vampire had ever created or even imagined before, was unleashed.
RUMBLE!
The sky turned blood-red. The ground transformed into a sea of black darkness.
“Can you withstand this, Ruler?”
“…!!!”
Elayne braced herself, reinforcing her body with Divine Authority as spiritual energy surged from the leylines below to fuel her power.
And then…
“Blood Apocalypse.”
With those two words, Elayne faced an endless sea of crimson stars descending upon her. They gathered around her and exploded without end.
The world around her shattered. Entire buildings collapsed. The pavement cracked and burst apart. Flames spread everywhere.
It was utter hell.
Or rather, an apocalypse descending upon Earth.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
Elayne’s entire body began to disintegrate rapidly under the endless explosions.
But she closed her eyes and concentrated, finding herself within an endless sea of sparkling colors.
Her own Divine Spiritual Sea.
From there, she extended her hand forward.
She could not use her Divine Treasures right now. They required far too much energy, and she did not want to cause even more destruction.
Instead, she chose another path.
She had been relying on her Treasures as Gaia…
But what about Elayne herself? Her own history. Her own mark upon this world.
Did she possess enough “History” to create something of her own?
The answer was…
