FLAAASH!
RUMBLE!
A towering pillar of light erupted into the skies. The Blood Apocalypse halted instantly as Elayne’s aura surged outward, expanding into a radiant, titanic tree.
From its trunk, endless gigantic roots burst forth alongside waves of lush vegetation. Massive Titans and Golems rose alongside her, born from the earth itself.
Elayne’s three Primary Skills as a Ruler-Class Spirit were as follows:
True Name Discernment (A)
As Ruler, Gaia Mater instantly perceived the true identity and nature of other Servants, including hidden divinity, curses, or conceptual anomalies.
Magic Resistance (A)
She possessed high resistance to magecraft, for the planet’s will predated all human sorcery.
God’s Resolution (EX)
A unique Ruler skill. Gaia Mater could enforce “natural law” within a limited area, suppressing abilities that violated the world’s balance, such as reality distortion, excessive divine power, or eldritch corruption.
Meanwhile, her Personal Skills were these:
Earth Pulse Connection (A+)
Gaia Mater was linked to the planet’s ley lines. She could draw mana directly from the Earth, sense disturbances, and manipulate terrain with minimal effort.
Primordial Authority (A)
This granted command over natural phenomena: stone, soil, roots, tectonic force, and the life force of the planet itself. It could not control artificial constructs or human-made weapons.
Mother of Life (B+)
A healing and nurturing ability. She could restore vitality, purify corruption, and stabilize dying ecosystems. It worked poorly on undead or entities that rejected the natural order.
When she activated them all together, the results were devastating.
True Name Discernment allowed her to see Noah for exactly who he was.
Magic Resistance forced him to go all-out if he truly wished to harm her.
God’s Resolution let her rewrite the laws of the world, distorting reality to manifest her current power while suppressing Noah’s dark, eldritch abilities and forcing him to transform to face her.
Earth Pulse Connection enabled her to link directly with the planet and draw mana from it, greatly reducing the strain she would otherwise place on her daughter.
Primordial Authority allowed her to reshape the world around her as she was doing now.
Mother of Life kept her healed and brimming with vitality, spreading that life force against Noah. Although he naturally resisted it, he could not resist it completely.
Vampires rejected the Natural History of Humanity, meaning any power drawn from humanity would be greatly weakened against them.
But not the power of a goddess.
And what happened when the power of humanity merged with that of a goddess?
Unable to use her Divine Treasures, Elayne now channeled the deepest treasure within her own “History.” She was the woman who stood between two worlds, a martyr who had sacrificed herself for her children.
The unseen hero of Earth. The acclaimed resurrection of Yggdrasil from Arcadia, now connected to Earth and thus corrupting the Natural History of the planet. This very corruption had made it possible for her to be summoned as a Heroic Spirit in the first place.
Noah’s eyes widened.
“You…”
His sharp red eyes gleamed as his slender body swelled, growing more and more muscular.
“Lifeblood Exceed: Level 2.”
He prepared himself, transforming and breaking his limits once again.
RUMBLE!
The pillar of light that had shaped itself into a tree transformed into a gigantic, living World Tree blooming across the battlefield and taking the form of a colossal titaness.
Elayne’s hands remained clasped together in prayer.
Her Treasure as both Elayne and Planta now manifested.
“Otherworldly Authority – Alien World Boss Ruler: Yggdrasil.”
It was the power of Planta as a World Boss.
RUMBLE!
From the titaness, countless wooden cannons began to form, charging with immense quantities of divine and primordial energy.
And then…
“Divine Yggdrasil Cannon of Destruction!”
To Noah’s disbelief, hundreds of cannons fired at once. Beams and lasers shot forth at lightning speed, carrying such overwhelming power that they flattened space itself.
“Hah…”
Noah smiled as he was bombarded by countless attacks far stronger than even his own Blood Apocalypse.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
He charged straight through the explosions, his body constantly torn to shreds only to regenerate faster and stronger each time.
“I will merely adapt to your power!”
“Lifeblood Exceed: Level 3!”
“Primordial Blood Sea Domain!”
His own blood exuded the power of an internal dimension. A Domain formed around the mysterious and ridiculously strong vampire, manifesting as a galaxy of pure blood and shadows that shielded him from Elayne’s cannons.
From the Blood Sea Domain, giants of crimson blood emerged, roaring as they clashed against Elayne. Each giant was unique.
“Your power does not scare me, goddess of life!” Noah declared. “For I have bathed in death for hundreds of thousands of years while ruling my Realm. In this world I may not be known, but in the Abyss, I am known as the Blood God Emperor.”
“Realm? Abyss?!” Elayne wondered aloud. She realized this world had many Realms connected to different planes. Abyss itself sounded like an Underworld or Netherworld Realm. “Are those the Realms you originate from, Blood God Emperor? Why appear here? Why torment the innocent? Why now?!”
“I already told you,” Noah replied, tearing through Elayne’s wooden walls and dodging the rain of hyper-concentrated divine laser beams. “I desire the Holy Grail, and I will not play around like the rest of you.”
“You’re merely an outsider!” Olivia roared from a distance. “You came out of nowhere demanding the Grail as if we would ever give it to you, bastard! Rider, shoot!”
Rider raised his gleaming bow made of sunlight and fired dozens of explosive, powerful arrows that bombarded Noah relentlessly.
In his arrogance, the Blood God Emperor completely ignored the Heroic Spirit, tanking every blow while Elayne swung her golden sword against him. Her giant tree form provided constant defensive support and rained lasers from every direction.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“Tsk!”
Noah’s eyes widened as his entire body filled with holes. Elayne’s sword cut straight through his Primordial Blood Sea. His Blood Soul Servants began dying instantly, turning to ashes as her blade exorcised them.
Had he been too hasty? This had seemed like a golden opportunity, yet he was the one being overwhelmed.
Perhaps he had not yet calculated the true strength of someone like Elayne.
Or…
Maybe he had not gone all-out yet.
It was a bad habit of his.
To slowly grow stronger to match his opponent. Otherwise, it would be far too boring.
“Heh.”
He smiled calmly as Elayne’s sword unleashed dozens of raining star-like strikes, stabbing him completely before delivering a final Divine Exorcizing Blade that cut him cleanly in two.
SLAAASH!
BOOOMMM!!!
