“So, what is it that you want to talk about that you need to talk with just me personally, Nephew Xiaotian?” immediately going to the same position as him as she knelt on the ground before eventually sitting on the grass, a feminine voice said as she eventually faces the young man, seemingly trying to see through even the very minute changes in his face.
Taking a look at the lady sitting beside him, perhaps no one will believe the immortal-like young man if he tells this moment as a story some other time, given how everyone in the continent thinks that the current Headmistress of the Dao Seeking Mountains is a lady with a great etiquette and demeanor, not someone that will just sit around everywhere acting like a commoner.

“I think I should first offer an apology for pulling the Dao Seeking Mountain into such a massive mess, Auntie Jianxue…” taking a deep breath before starting, Su Xiaotian said with a serious tone in his voice, his words surprising the dignified-looking lady in front of him, said lady thinking whether it is only this that is the reason for the young man to call her, all alone, here.
And thinking of such fact, she couldn’t help but shake her head while thinking that this martial nephew of hers cares way too much about her and the Dao Seeking Mountains, despite the two of them only knowing each other for a mere few days as of now, this fact making her smile as she thought to herself of one other thing.
‘They’re really mother and son…’ she thought to herself as she recalls the warm feeling of the once leader of their group from when they were still young geniuses as well, Su Meiyao, having the same line of thought as the immortal-like young man in front of her, always bearing the responsibility for something that didn’t quite go their way.
Of course, while she feels the warmth of such consideration coming from her marital nephew, she also couldn’t help but feel quite the shame at the fact that, instead of the young man receiving her apology, it is the exact opposite that is happening right now.

Tang Jianxue starts explaining with gritted teeth as frustration starts to fill her entire being, her fair fist a shade of slight crimson as she clenches as hard as she could, an action that doesn’t go past the immortal-like young man’s eyes.
Despite his concern towards her, however, he chooses not to interrupt her for now as he feels like she wants to complete her explanation before anything else, his senses telling him that he shouldn’t interrupt for now.
And after quite some moments filled with an awkward pause, the information flowing out of Tang Jianxue’s mouth starts once more, this time starting with a deep, frustrated sigh before she continues with her words.
“Well, that was only what they wanted to say on the surface… I… as well as the elders think that these are just flowery words for them wanting us to bow as a subsidiary force to them… who do they think they are? They’ve been claiming themselves as the leader of the Eastern Continent, yet they’re just oppressing the weak and abusing their current strength…”
She said through gritted teeth as her ample chest started heaving up and down, anger apparent from her expression as she told the general gist of the relation between the Dao Seeking Mountains and the Imperial Court as of now.
“I see… looks like they’re really too full of themselves…” After feeling like he now has a chance to speak, Su Xiaotian then replies, nodding to his martial aunt’s words, causing the lady to feel much better knowing that this martial nephew of his agrees with her words.
