Cheat Cultivator's Ascension - Chapter 526 - 526: A Treasure

The warm, gentle night skies failed to lull Su Xiaotian to sleep, as even just after their separation, his own body felt quite the longing for the softness of his ladies’ bodies, his mother’s atop of him, the others around him, a heavenly sensation that he doesn’t quite want to get out of.
Well aware that he has yet to acquire the strength to keep enjoying and treasuring such pleasures in life however, he pushes the thoughts of longing in the back of his mind, pushing his body up from the bed, intending to take a good walk around, his entire self brimming with energy especially when he just took a rest before his time in the Infinite Qi Dimension runs out.
Walking out of Liliana’s estate, he proceeds to explore the vast lands that are being taken care of by humans like him, humans who are, from the lack of fortune, one of the weakest races within the Western Continent.
‘It’s a pity since they have decent cultivation potentials as well…’ he thought to himself as his eyes glowed white with a tinge of gold, seeing through what is behind the flesh as he looked at some hardworking people who were still up and working even with the moon already above their heads.
What he can see are mixture of the ‘mana’ energy unique to this continent and the spirit qi he is all too familiar with, the human body, despite lacking the capability to channel mana, excels when it comes to absorbing the more powerful, yet more violent spirit qi, and yet the irony of it all is the fact that there are no methods for them to do so in this place where the emphasis on the energy that is mana far surpasses the other.
After observing them for a little bit more, he then proceeds to leap up and fly in the skies, taking this opportunity to use the Immortal Illusion Art again, from his back growing a large wing expanding meters, casting shadow beneath his figure and startling some of the humans still working, prompting them to look at the skies only to witness the object of their terror, another sacred being, the pressure coming out of his very being seemingly far more than the one on their master, Liliana, can bring out.
“The endless green forest of the far west holds the land of the elves, huh…” he mutters to himself as he enforces his eyes with soul power once more, this time trying out another thing, succeeding in his first try.
Now, instead of just seeing through the world around him, being witness to how spirit qi and even mana, moves, his sight expanded into this odd, panoramic view as the range in which he can see through spirit qi expands as well, his world now covered by myriads of bright specks of light diverging, converging into different forms, dancing orderly and chaotically at the same time seemingly showing the complicated rules the govern everything in existence.
‘I should probably avoid going there for now…’ even after he had seen this for more than dozens of times already, he still couldn’t help but tremble in a mixture of excitement and worry every time he lay his eyes on the horizon of the elven people’s domain, a smile creeping up his face whenever he thinks of what lies in wait for him over that place.
Being someone who experienced modern life on Earth, of course, there wasn’t any way he wouldn’t be interested when he hear the word ‘elves’ even if it’s just the very least, this interest also being the very reason as to why some few days after he had established his deal with Liliana, he snuck out just enough to take a look at this grand, verdant forest, using the same method he is using right now, unaware of the surprise that it will reveal to himself.
Just like every single time he tries to look into the depth of the verdant forest, there, lying unmoving, is a massive convergence of both spirit qi and mana surging towards a singular place, almost as if a black hole that seems to gather as much energy as it can to produce something, this great range of absorption, along with the similarly powerful, fast rate it takes spirit qi from its surrounding, making him wonder just what sort of secrets lies in there.
Of course, out of precaution, he chooses not to go there without preparation as he assumed that if he is capable of seeing it, then that divine-level being should be aware of the existence of this spot as well, and the thing he would like to avoid the most for now encountering this problem, as the older Su Xiaotian deemed it, without any preparation in his part.
Hence, after observing this massive amount of energy surging towards one place, he pushes his attention to something else, deciding to return to the estate as he also starts hatching a plan on how to draw that divine-level being out.
———-
Unbeknownst to Su Xiaotian, he won’t even need to hatch a plan to find this divine-level being, as in a stroke of misfortune or fortune, only the heaven knows, the very same thing he is previously observing in the depths of the elven woodlands is related, or rather, the very thing that he is searching for.
And this same individual also feels that gaze every single time it lands on the massive amount of energy surging towards them, piquing their interest and causing them to wonder what, or who, it is that has senses so sharp that said senses can detect their technique, when even celestial-level beings passing around this world cannot.
Unfortunately for this individual, though, despite their immensely powerful senses, the weight of the restriction of this current vessel prevents them from actually returning the spying and seeing through the appearance and strength of this observer in the distance, making them feel pretty frustrated to the point that they would abandon what they are currently doing if not for its importance to them.
“I should be finished with this after a couple of weeks more or less, might as well explore this place…” the figure mutters as they close their eyes, their senses, along with their memory, granting them the confidence of knowing whoever it is that is observing them if they get into close range with each other.
Without their knowledge, this curiosity would force them to stay in this place, inside the vessel that they felt so restricted in, for much longer than they would ever expect, all because of a single individual that, unbeknownst to this being, also shares the same level of interest with them as the interest they have in him.
Within this deep night skies, the black littered, or rather, decorated by shimmering colors of dusty whites that are the stars, further lit by the gentle, warm glow of the moon, two individuals of power more than capable enough to turn the entirety of the Western Continent upside down, decides that they would like to encounter each other before the end of their passing trip upon this land, and whether this encounter will happen, only the future knows.
