Cheat Cultivator's Ascension - Chapter 531 - 531: Liliana's Strength

If there’s one thing that interests Su Xiaotian regarding the Western Continent, one of the things he will always be fascinated with is the naturally occurring spatial arrays within this place.
Yes, naturally occurring, something that he couldn’t believe at first sight as well, especially since becoming aware of the existence of mana, he is pretty much clear to the fact that while they are similar to spirit qi in the essence that they can carry elemental prowess, they differ completely in the fact that mana is incapable of carrying out the rules of nature.
This fact alone is the reason as to why even he himself finds it so surprising when he witnessed the absurd amount of improvement Liliana had made regarding her ability and power as a vampire just from switching the energy she is using from mana to spirit qi, as apparently, her blood techniques occur more as a natural rule rather than a part of the elements.
Returning to the topic of natural spatial arrays, it is not the fact that there’s a naturally occurring spatial array that piques this young man’s interest; no, after all, even if it’s somehow impressive, he himself has already encountered some of those naturally occurring arrays multiple times.
Those times, during his first true adventure in the Crescent Moon Secret Realm, the time he spent near the end of the Golden Spirit Pool, and even his time participating in the Dao Enlightenment Competition, are all filled with this kind of naturally occurring array.
What make these spatial arrays different from these encounters he had in the past are their numbers, reaching over several hundred covering the entirety of the Western Continent, and yet despite that, the trace of spatial rule within this place is pitifully weak, making him wonder just what sort of occurrences or phenomena takes place in this Western Continent in the past for such naturally existing spatial arrays to form.
This subject to his curiosity is something that he intends to figure out for later if he were to get the opportunity to do so, but for now, he intends to deal with the situation in front of him first.
“They reach your place quite fast…” he stated as his eyes looks over the horizon, from the ends of the skies, arrives numerous figures whose amount of mana would make any other being pale in comparison, these people sporting an excited grin on their faces as if they are going to participate in something that will bring them great entertainment for some time.
“They could’ve used a spatial array somewhere,” Liliana replies as she also stares in the same direction as her teacher, Su Xiaotian. Her gaze, despite still not seeing the figures of those so-called Great Ones approaching her, can already detect the great amount of mana running rampant in the air.
“Didn’t you tell me that the queen detests these people quite a bit? Why would she even allow them to use those arrays?” he asked in curiosity, the eyes glowing in white and gold still trained on the people approaching them, said eyes scrutinizing their strength and weaknesses without fail.
“They’re not in the capital after all, so no one can stop them from using other spatial array especially if there’s a vampire high noble among their ranks” the vampiric lady replies, her hands clenching into a tighter fist at the mention of this vampire noble among the Great Ones’ rank, making him, her teacher, aware of the one who, most likely, will receive her beating the most.
“I see… hmm… not bad, not bad at all…” staring at the figures approaching from a distance, he finally gets the chance to use a technique that allows him to see through the true nature of their strength.
[True Sight (Lvl 5 (Max))]
[Reveals the information of anyone the user desires, so long as the target is visible to the user. Shows the name, talent, stats, and aptitude of the target. Things displayed will increase as the level of True Sight increases]
After using the technique time and time again, especially after encountering numerous beings not only above his own realm, but also his own life-level, this technique he can only use to check strength of anyone near him finally reached its maximum level, allowing him not only to see through personal strength and prowess, but also the strength of their connections, and the peak abilities of the forces backing them.
“What is interesting?” hearing his words, Liliana couldn’t help but ask as she directed her gaze away from the approaching figure, staring at the young man standing right beside her, their gazes meeting in the middle, causing her to flinch away as she felt quite surprised.
“Nothing really,” he replied as his gaze peered through the depth of this lady’s strength, the changes from what he saw a month ago, something that can only be described as a fish leaping and ascending through the dragon’s gate.

A couple of weeks ago, despite her progression on her cultivation of the mana system being farther than her current realm, the actual prowess she can show is not even a quarter of her current prowess, making the young man well aware of the poor exchange of mana that exchanges true combat prowess for quick progression.
‘Well, to give them credit, this cultivation system seems to be focused on longevity more on martial prowess…’ he thought to himself as he judged the mana cultivation system again, recalling how brimming the life force is of the cultivators practicing the path of mana, to the point that he even assumes that even the weakest cultivator here, so long as they formed the ‘core’ integral for cultivating mana, can compete with an Ascension Realm expert, only if it’s in terms of lifespan alone.
Of course, the problem with that is, forget about the Ascension Realm expert, even just a Body Tempering Realm cultivator is more than capable enough to deal with multiple mana cultivators of the lowest realm.
“Well, can you tell me their cultivation at least?” seeing as Su Xiaotian isn’t willing to answer her question, she asked another one as she stayed in place, waiting for his answer while watching the figures on the horizon growing larger as they approached their location closer and closer.
“You’ll see through them once they get close enough,” he pointed out, calm tone in his voice and an assuring smile on his face, his answer making the lady feel quite secure, as to her, his words meant another thing.
‘You’re stronger than them’ was the other meaning she found out from his words, as only those who are stronger than a certain individual can see through the strength of said individual, of course, taking into account the fact that they do not have a technique or equipment powerful enough to hide themselves from the stronger person’s detection.
