Cheat Cultivator's Ascension - Chapter 533 - 533: The True Ruler of the Battle

Swift motions of the blade cleaving the atmosphere resound as it compresses and tears apart the air in its path, every single obstruction, technique, projectile, mana spells, and the like being torn into two as they come into contact with the rapier’s path.
And wielding this swift, sharp weapon that leaves crescent trail of silver glow in its path, is a lady with hair sharing a semblance of color to the trail of her armament, partnered with the blood that is being drawn by her weapon through each of her clean, precise strike, one can only wonder just how much more can she be for this battlefield.
“Come, come, what the hell happened to your bravado before, huh?” with the rapier in her hand disappearing and reappearing again in a flash, Liliana asked, the provocation clear in her tone as she continued to handle every single person approaching her with ease.
“How did she even…”
“Hey, hey, that’s one of the front row seats she’s fighting against…”
“Forget about Lady Lyria, the rest are all from the second row, so how is this vampire even handling all of them alone??!”
Not even a minute had passed since seven representatives of the group of Great Ones surrounded the young earl, and yet, despite the overwhelming number, she proves herself to be more than capable enough to deal with them, the outcome of their first few exchanges a testament to this.
“LILIANAA!!!!” from one of these Great Ones, to be exact, the lady who is the heir to a ducal family, Lyria, screams in sheer wrath as the lady she is fighting against nullifies her attack once more, seemingly intent on completely humiliating her.
Damn, that’s so loud, aren’t you ashamed of acting like that despite being the successor of a duchess?” Liliana, hearing the screaming, merely swung her rapier once again, cleaving apart the blood-colored attack made of mana approaching her, this action of hers making the audience smile in interest, as if they were about to witness a great show.
‘She fell for it!!’ most of them thought as they watched the blood-like attack from Lyria torn apart, the reason for their smile being their familiarity with this attack, a deceitful one that seemed to fully embody the nature of the lady fighting against the one who offended their group.
“Hahaha!! Fool!! Death Blood Needles!!” seeing her technique spread apart into hundreds, probably thousands of shards and pieces, Lyria laughed as she clapped her hands, the shards and fragments turning into sharp, needle-like shapes with their sharp ends pointing towards Liliana, making the observers smile all the more.
As the sound of the clap expands to reach everyone, the needle-like blood mana starts moving at an extreme speed towards Liliana, the audience’s face forming a crooked smile as they watch the offender just standing in place, making them laugh at her as they spew out their assumptions.
“My, did she freeze in fear? HAHAHAHA!!!”
“Come, come, what the hell happened to your bravado before, huh??”
“HAHAHA!! So she’s just all talk, huh??”
Sound of mockery echoes in the air, feeding Liliana’s ears, prompting her to smile as she felt like this was the right time to reveal a bit more of her true strength again, the rapier in her hands disappearing as she felt like her fists were more than enough to battle it out with these so-called geniuses.
“I don’t think I’ll be needing this anymore,” she mutters to herself as she clenches her fair, dainty hands into fists before she disappears from her position once again.
It was only a select few, no more than a couple of people, who managed to see through her disappearance before it was too late, one of them, the strongest among the group of geniuses who invaded her land, his young prince’s draconic eyes allowing him to see the flow of mana around to detect the disappearance of the vampire earl.
“She’s toying with them…” he mutters to himself as veins start popping from his temple, his fists clenched as he feels like the more this battle between the members of the group he found and this lady lasts, the greater the challenge to his authority this fight will be.
And almost as if to just prove even more that this is truly going to be a great challenge to his authority, Liliana, who disappeared out of the scope of Lyria’s technique, appears right in front of him, a fist shockingly approaching his face and prompting him to reach out his hand to block.
Sound of a palm clenching a fist reverberates across the place as gust of wind and force expands from the contact of the two, pushing some of the weaker individual away, swaying the grass and trees beneath, and most of all, shocking everyone as this vampire earl shows that she has the audacity to ignore the opponents in front of her and provoke the one she shouldn’t provoke the most.
“That’s a warning, I’ll deal with you later so stop staring with those eyes, fucking lecher, else you want me to gouge them out” seeing that her fist was blocked by the young dragon prince, Liliana said with a smile on her face, her gentle voice tinged with the tone of mockery and threat, something that was never directed to this young man before.
“You’re going to regret thi—” before he could even reply to the lady, however, her fist was already out of his grasp, her presence no longer in front of him, the only sign of her truly being there previously being the voice that she left behind.
“Whatever, just stay there, you won’t need to wait for long.” Liliana’s voice reached everyone’s ears, the brows furrowing from her provocation not only Noveus’ but also the other Great Ones’. The more she spoke, the more all of them thought that this unruly lady should really be taught a lesson she wouldn’t forget.
“FACE ME PROPERLY, LILIANA!!” acting completely different from her usually noble self, Lyria shouts once again as she realizes that the vampire earl dismisses her attack like nothing once more, her face filled with red from the mix of wrath and embarrassment as blood-like spears form behind her.
“Really? Well…” hearing the words of the duchess heir, Liliana smiles as if she just got a great offer, even going as far as clapping as she shows a shocked look on her face, her words pausing as her figure blurs, a glowing, blood red, like dashing like a descending comet before it stops right in front of Lyria’s body.
“I’ll take you up on your offer~~” she continues with a gleeful tone as she swung her fist, coated in a crimson-colored spirit qi that made it look like a meteor approaching the duchess heir’s face.
It was only right at this moment that most of the members of the Great Ones, the ones previously oblivious to the actual truth of things, realized, that it was not the member of their group that is fighting, but rather, the lady they are fighting against that holds the complete control of this battle’s flow, this realization stemming from the scene they are witnessing right now, one of the leader who belong to the front most seats of their group, frozen in fear as her opponents fist approaches her face.
