Cheat Cultivator's Ascension - Chapter 535 - 535: A Trump Card

Weak.
Despite facing against the upper echelon of power of the group calling themselves Great Ones, those were the words that came out of Liliana’s mouth as soon as she dealt with the ones who attacked her.
And they can’t even address this singular word as shameless bragging or anything similar, as every single person bears witness to what just happened, the fact that she toyed with these powerful individuals without breaking a sweat, before spending nothing but a mere punch for each of them to render them incapable of fighting a show that they might not even be able to see again in their entire life.
“Ugh… aaaghhh!! AAAAHHH!!! LILIANA!!!” disrupting the seeds of terror already growing into a complete plant in their minds, the Great Ones snapped out of their scared daze as they heard a pained and angered voice coming from one of the craters made from their companion’s body, said crater now brimming with crimson mana glowing into a pillar that pierces through the skies with endless might.
“Heh~~ you’re still going huh… well, good news for me, I’m not done with you yet after all~~~” seeing the extreme force exploding from the lady who is still buried within the crater, Liliana smiles as she mutters, a trembling excitement tinging her otherwise calm voice as her figure disappears, meeting the figure who flew out from the crater on the ground.
“DIE!!!” wrath-filled voice explodes from the throat of the duchess’ heir as she swings her hand, a swathe of formless, crimson mana flooding towards the young vampire earl, the overwhelming size casting darkness underneath, the ground smelling like the pungent iron as if mana itself turned into the very blood that symbolizes their race.
Witnessing such a sight, not only the other Great Ones, but even Su Xiaotian couldn’t help but admire the visuals as the massive wave of blood approached his student, seemingly about to crash towards her and drown her.
“She’s done, that’s an attack not even Prince Noveus dares to take head on.”
“Well, she’s strong, but she lacks the trump card to really be on our level.”
“Hahaha!! Finally, we can teach her some manners after this!!”
Seemingly energized by the turnaround of the event once more, the Great Ones start enthusiastically discussing among themselves once again, an expression of excitement and anticipation on their faces as the certainty of their victory becomes clear once again.
“It’s really impressive, isn’t it?” blending perfectly with the celebratory atmosphere around him, Su Xiaotian appears out of nowhere, right in the middle of the enemy his student is fighting against, his calm, collected demeanor making his words compelling enough to the point that even the person standing beside him, the leader of this group, finds nothing wrong that he was urged to answer the question.
“Indeed, that’s Lyria’s trump card after all, an attack condensed with the full strength of the Bloodstar Duchess herself,” the young dragon prince replied, still not noticing what’s happening, only snapping from it moments later as the immortal-like air around this individual presses down on his being, preventing him from moving as the same young man speaks again.
“I see, that’s why it’s that grand, huh…” he mutters as he waves his hands, the shocked members of the Great Ones who also just noticed that this other vampire is not a part of their group now also frozen in place, causing cold sweat to form on their backs as an absurd thought appears in their minds.
That thought being the fact that Liliana, whose monstrous strength easily suppresses one of their strongest, along with their upper echelon at the same time, isn’t the most dangerous person present in this place.
“… grand as it is, though, that’s all there is to it, there’s no essence, no foundation…” he pauses as he looks at the massive wave of blood-like qi about to crash into his student’s body, a body overshadowed by the size of the wave in front of her.
“…it’s like looking at a monster who’s pretending to be a human by mindlessly swinging some kind of blunt club,” he added as he smiles, his eyes, despite infusing neither soul power nor Transcendent Qi, see through the weakness of this attack, all too painfully obvious at that, almost like the weakness is begging to get attacked.
“What do you mean by tha—” wanting to ask what this newcomer is talking about, the young dragon prince opens his mouth, only for even the sound coming out of him to be stopped as the immortal-like figure snaps his fingers, his words reaching their ears in a loud, powerful manner once again, and that is despite him not raising his voice.
“Well, you will see,” the immortal-like young man replies with a smile on his face as he just stands among the Great Ones, unbothered, both by the malicious intent directed at him through the gaze of most of these geniuses, as well as by the apparent danger that his student is facing right now.
“Die, huh…” despite having the ability to move fast enough for her to get away from this attack, Liliana merely smiles as she thought of something to plunge her opponent to an even deeper hole of despair, a maniacal smile on her face as she bent her knees to change her stance, placing one foot forward as if she’s standing on the ground, her back straight and her hands just waiting in a clenched fist.
“It’ll take more than just this for that to happen, Lyria” she mutters as she moves her entire body, from the feet position back, pushing it up to generate her own momentum, her upper body following the rotation of her waist, eventually exploding in power as the motion reaches her shoulder then her extending arms, her fist, the moment it fully extends, connects with the weakness of this seemingly unbreakable attack.
And just like a building with foundation directly taken away, or a plant that was rid of its roots, the attack collapsed like glass being shattered apart, the once dense, tangible mana dispersing into thin air as it turns corporeal, then completely disappeared, not even a trace of the previous fierce momentum can be seen as the sky was cleared from the darkness once again.
“Is that all you can do?” and she wasn’t even finished with destroying the attack the duchess heir is so proud of as her voice reaches her ears instantaneously given that she appears right behind her, her fair, long legs already making its sweep as she kicked her opponent to the side, her figure disappearing, then reappearing again right on the trajectory of her enemy’s flying body.
“All that pride, all that arrogance and this was all you have to present for it?” she asked as she clasped her hands together while she drives her knee to the abdomen of the duchess heir, stopping her flight and making her feel sick, no sicker than the next moment though as her whole world starts shaking and spinning as she receives the next attack, the clasped hands landing right in the middle of her back, forcing her to plummet down the ground once again.
“Pathetic…” with crimson spirit qi still swirling around her hand, she looks down on the newly created crater with disdain in her eyes, some trace of the previous anger dissipating from her gaze as if beating this lady up refreshes her quite a bit.
