The head of the spear blazed with azure light when the accumulation of mana reached its peak, turning into a pale flame dancing in the air.

It was at this moment that the ‘sharks’ swarm at him from every direction, opening their jaws wide and about to devour him.
However, despite how fast they moved and trapped Aoki with their encirclement, the latter remained calm and watched their movements with indifferent eyes.

He swiftly gathered himself and pulled the whip back before making it twirl above him.

“Tsk!” Gunner could not help but click his tongue when he saw that the colossal shield instantly collapsed before that azure line drawn by his opponent’s attack.

Extending his free hand to the side, a shield suddenly came out of the metal box behind him and flew straight into his hand.
Right after catching the shield, Gunner swiftly raised it and quickly activated one of his strongest defensive skills to defend himself.

A massive dome of energy was suddenly manifested, centering around him, before expanding upwards and clashing against the azure light that descending upon him.

Yet another explosion erupted right after the opposing powers collided against one another, sending massive shockwaves in every direction.

While the energy dome was in the midst of crumbling, some extremely fast pierce through it and flew straight at Gunner, who was still focused above him.

It was a bit late when Gunner noticed its approach, especially due to the chaotic explosions that were occurring everywhere.

He swiftly retrieved the whip and quickly attempted to wrap the incoming projectile while he tried his best to retreat.
He had also placed his shield before him, facing the direction of that projectile, in case it reached him.

Unfortunately, yet another attack came flying at him from a different direction.

They broke through the already crumbling energy dome and pierced through a hole in the air while flying at him.
This time, he could clearly see that they were in the form of spears made of azure light.
