With yet another explosion, the entire battlefield shook for another time, seemingly producing another earthquake.

However, despite the intense shaking of the battlefield, the two continued with their exchanges and executed a series of highly advanced techniques against one another.

After realizing that speed was still not enough, Gunner chose to increase the number of his weapons. He started using the other weapon types to increase the variety of his attacks, along with the complexity of his methods.

He started mixing his attacks with a multitude of methods that utilized a variety of weapons. He was also not using these weapons randomly. He was utilizing them to their fullest potential, which he had already shown in his earlier confrontation against Leonard.

His current form looked like a peerless warrior in the middle of the battlefield, where all kinds of weapons were scattered everywhere. He just kept picking up whatever weapon came into his hands or whichever type his box threw at him.

He continued this relentless series of attacks, attempting to overwhelm his opponent with such bombardment.

However, his opponent remained unfazed in the face of such a terrifying series of attacks. Despite his aggressive advances, Aoki remained calm and responded appropriately.

Aoki maintained his style, relying on his solid fundamental techniques and a series of combinations of ocular skills to ward off every attack that his opponent threw at him.

He was also throwing quite a few power moves or killing techniques in the process, mixing them with his regular movements to catch the opposing side off guard.

There were a lot of instances where he almost caught his opponent, which the latter barely escaped from with the tiniest margins.

After a few more exchanges, Gunner was forced to retreat for another time, being reminded that he was no match for Aoki in terms of polearm techniques.

However, he did not mind it that much and just tossed the mental pole in his hands before catching a bow that his metal box had sent to him.

While he was in midair, he swiftly turned his body while also skillfully nocking a mana-enchanted arrow in the process.

Taking his aim during his turn, Gunner fired the arrow, sending it straight to Aoki, who was about to catch up to him.

Twang!

The mana arrow turned into a huge beam of light right after leaving the bow, flying straight to its target with extreme speed.

Bang!

However, instead of continuing with its trajectory and heading toward Aoki, the beam of light exploded and turned into a hail of lights pouring down from the sky and sealing all escape routes that Aoki could possibly take.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Seeing this, Aoki could not help but raise his brows a little, especially when his special eyes could clearly see something more powerful hidden within that hail of lights.

He then quickly halted his advance and twirled his spear, generating a strong momentum.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Gusts of wind had also gathered around him, spinning like a tornado. He then guided them through his spear before thrusting toward the sky.

Boom!

A storm of energy erupted along with his actions, sending a strong and spiraling air current toward the sky.

This air current twisted and turned along its flight before turning into a massive azure dragon that was ascending toward heaven.

The azure dragon opened its mouth wide, swallowing all the hail of lights that were pouring down from the sky.

A series of explosions erupted within the belly of the azure dragon, making its entire body collapse.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Right after, beams of light pierced through the cloud of smoke that the explosions had created, creating multiple holes in it before pouring down on Aoki.

This time, these beams of light did not explode and split into multiple arrows just like the one earlier. Instead, they continued to carry the overwhelming energy that they had, raining from the sky like destructive meteors.

Aoki turned his head left and right for a moment, creating a series of popping sounds in the process, before assuming another fight stance.

Holding both the spear with both of his hands, he spread his feet and lowered the center of gravity while circulating his mana throughout his body.

With a raging storm of mana engulfing his body, Aoki seemed to have executed a ritual dance along with his spear while blocking each of the ‘meteor’ raining down at him.

During this ‘dance’, his eyes were keeping track of all the trajectories of the falling beams of light, making it easier for him to deal with them.

Explosions littered the surroundings, making thick clouds of smoke and dust rise and swallowing him whole.

Within this cloud, Aoki’s entire figure disappeared, hiding him from everyone’s sight once again. This scene made Gunner raise his brows even higher since he knew how troublesome it was to lose track of such an opponent.

Realizing that it would be meaningless for him to continue bombarding that place with his explosive arrows, Gunner stopped firing.

He knew that it would only make it easier for his opponent to further hide his presence under the cover of such a thick cloud of smoke and dust.

He was about to keep his bow and switch to another weapon when a sudden development occurred.

A deafening roar shook the entire battlefield, followed by a strong gust of wind that cleared the thick cloud.

A moment later, everyone saw a massive azure dragon twirling and twisting in the midst of the receding cloud of smoke and dust.

Seeing this colossal dragon, Arthur, who was watching everything closely from their platform, could not help but raise his brows.

He stared intently at the azure dragon for quite a while, seemingly trying to have a good look at it.

A moment later, he pursed his lips and mumbled. “It is an elemental dragon with a pure bloodline of a true dragon.”

“Moreover, it is a direct descendant of a mythical dragon, the Azure Dragon itself,” he added.

While he was observing this Azure Dragon, Arthur could also sense intense fluctuations within his body. He could sense that his bloodline within the game, which was from the Divine Golden Dragon, was reacting to it.

At the same time, he could also sense that the Elemental Dragons that he had contracted were also showing similar reactions to it.

He could also feel that most of them were feeling a bit scared and submissive to this Azure Dragon. It was clear that the density of the latter’s bloodline was much purer than the one that he contracted with.

There was only a single elemental dragon, which was not affected by this Azure Dragon’s pressure.

Archon, the Chaos Dragon, was not a bit affected by this bloodline suppression.

With just this alone, Arthur could tell that the Elemental Dragon that Aoki had contracted with was at least on the same generation as Archon.

Seemingly reading his mind, Archon smirked and commented inside his head. “Heh! That little one is still quite young. He is still far from matching my greatness during my time.”

“When I am already slaughtering all the dragon tribes, that kid is still hiding behind his father’s protection.”

“However, I must admit that this kid’s strength has progressed quite well. He can be considered a decent warrior during our time,” he added while maintaining his smirking tone.

Sensing that this was an opportunity to initiate a quest with his Elemental Dragon, Arthur immediately spoke. “It seems like you know that Azure Dragon quite well.”

Archon was silent for a moment, seemingly hesitating whether to entertain Arthur or not. He seemed to be contemplating something before deciding to continue. “That little guy is one of the young masters of the Azure Dragon Tribe.”

“He has quite a decent talent, but he has some problems with his personality. He is too timid for someone from the royal bloodline of the Dragon Tribe.”

He then paused for a moment, staring at the Azure Dragon that Aoki had just summoned, before continuing. “However, I must admit that he has overcome his weakness and has turned into a decent warrior.”

Arthur tried to fish for a few more details, but Achon was too tight-lipped for more, making him disappointed.

However, he still got something from this.

“A royal from the legendary Azure Dagon Tribe? This is going to be interesting. I guess I now have something else that what I want from Senior this time,” he mumbled along with a grin that greatly resembled Shin’s.

It was clear that he was plotting something.
