“It didn’t disappoint me,” I said as I saw long lines as I opened my eyes.
To be honest, I am surprised. I didn’t think I would ever get a longer level-up than I did when my main class advanced to Shaper of Desire, but I had been wrong.
I read the first line and saw my class had changed. No, not changed, but advanced, feeling its powerful weight.
It had advanced from Valorous Lord of Courage to Ironblood Lord of Radiant Dreams. Like the Shaper of Desire, it didn’t follow the usual convention.
It had drastically changed the class and not just in name.
I had advanced twice in it, reaching Lv. 41, same as Shaper of Desire, both skills have the same weight, but Shaper of Desire is more powerful due to the weight of legacy behind it.
Moving on from the levels, I turned to my first skill. Tempest Razor: It’s created from the merger of three skills, Rapid Strikes, Razor Edge, and Gale of the Blade.
I could feel its incredible power. I wanted to test it immediately, but I managed to control the urge.
It should be powerful from the merger of three skills. All of them were powerful skills individually. I have not read about this skill, but it feels similar to those powerful skills I have read about.
I took a deep breath and moved on to the next skill.
Sundering Blade.
It is a skill just as powerful as the Tempest Razor, but like Mauling Strike, this is all about the power.
It is a skill that Lv. 50’s gain. So, one could only imagine its power.
The third skill is Unveiling Perception, which advanced from Insightful Reading. It is a very powerful skill. The majority of the time, it is gained by Mages, but I am incredibly pleased that I got it.
I read a lot, and this skill will greatly assist me in that regard.
It does not specialise in just reading speed, which, without a doubt, has increased significantly. Its speciality lies in understanding and revealing what is hidden.
It is why the mages desire this skill so much.
The fourth is Blitz Steps, which advances to Dominion Surge. It is a highly valued skill that is often reserved for the powerful, noble, and royal classes.
It is why it is called a ruling class skill, and it is amazingly powerful.
The fifth skill is Quick Parry, which has advanced into Iron Veil. Another powerful skill that excites me is that it has become different from the Quick Parry.
It’s rare for skills to take such an abrupt turn from their original form, but I won’t complain.
It’s a very powerful skill that suits me better than Quick Parry, which I rarely use.
The sixth skill is Fast Reflexes, which has advanced into Lightning Reflexes.
A skill so powerful that rogues would kill for it. So, would the warriors. It is one of the most coveted skills; many warriors would willingly give up powerful offensive skills to acquire it.
The last skill that advanced is March of the Braves, which had advanced to Charge of Ironbloods.
It made me very happy since I didn’t use March of Braves much. Charge of Ironbloods will be very helpful in battle. It made me really excited. I understand the value of the powerful charge.
It has the power to alter the entire battle’s outcome.
I turned to the last skill, the only new one I got from this level up. It is not a skill warriors get. It is a mage skill and a damn good one.
It is beneficial for everything from studying to combat, including helping mages study faster to cast multiple spells simultaneously.
Now, I got it and I couldn’t be happier. I am ecstatic.
Others might have desired combat or defensive skills, or even territorial skills, but I did not. I am very pleased with this skill and activated it immediately.
I resisted the urge with others, but I didn’t with this one and immediately felt the effects.
I expected my mind to split into parts, but nothing of the sort happened. Instead, my mind seemed to have expanded, now giving space to more thoughts that could run concurrently.
I begin to think multiple thoughts at once before losing focus.
I thought and thought, and then I suddenly remembered. This skill tends to make the host spiral. It can allow people to enter a thought trance, which makes them forget about the world.
I need to be careful when using it, at least, and practice in a controlled environment until I get the hang of it.
I took a deep breath and calmed my mind before looking at the next group of lines and sighed.
“It didn’t get swallowed,” I said, looking at the Rider Class, which had advanced to Monster Rider, itself a powerful class.
If my lord class had swallowed it. These skills would have levelled up to Lv. 40 skills, and that would have made them far more potent than they are now.
The Rider Class had advanced to Monster Rider and reached Level 21.
Two of its skills have also advanced with the class. First is Instant Command, advanced from Command Projection. It will be very beneficial, especially in battle, where every moment counts.
Command Projection is useful, but with this skill, there is no need to project; I just need to think.
Projection takes time. A fraction of a second, but still, that is a lot when it comes to life and death. Instant Command addresses that problem since the command is instantaneous.
The second skill put a smile on my face. Swift advanced to Phantom Gallop.
Due to the difference in power between the monster and Rider Class, Swift wasn’t that helpful. It was a skill that was not even Lv. 20 while the horse is at the peak of Grade IV.
Phantom Gallop is a powerful skill, and with high attributes, it will help the monster even if the class is only at Lv. 21.
As I had said, the powerful attributes of my main class will make it powerful.
I also acquired two new skills, which made me very happy. First is Ariel Drift; it gives the beast maneuverability in the air; it won’t be a sitting duck anymore.
In the battle against the necromancer, the horse needed to jump whenever he cast Bone Spikes.
In the air, we were sitting ducks. I needed to defend the attacks coming at us with the blade. This skill will ensure that we are not sitting ducks.
It is a life-saving skill.
I turned to the last skill, and once more, a smile appeared on my face. Power Share, as its name suggests, lets the monster share its power with me.
It is a fantastic skill and one I am going to try out very soon.
“This advancement will change many things,” I said to myself; the changes are too significant not to.
It relieved me, because from now on it would be very dangerous. I have demonstrated my power to the world. Next time, my enemies will be fully prepared. It won’t be easy to surprise them, much less defeat them, but I have time.
I don’t think they will attack me too soon as long as I don’t do anything foolish.
I shook my head and focused on the last thing.
The attribute points, I thought for a moment, and added one to the charm, bringing it to twenty-three and one in intelligence, bringing it to twenty-one.
The next few months, I will be fighting the battle on a different battlefield. The diplomatic battlefield, and I would need my tools to be sharp.
I felt the change; it is very small. My advancement had brought a far bigger change to Lv. 41 and my class upgrade.
After the effects disappeared, I opened the interface, which looked far different from the day before.

A lot of my skills have advanced, but even those that didn’t become very powerful.
I am most excited about seeing the effects of the Law of My Land and Public Works now. These two are very powerful skills; it could be said that they are the most powerful I have.
They work so subtly that people don’t even notice them, which makes them very powerful skills.
I observed the interface for another minute before getting out of bed. I had only planned to sleep for a few hours, but as I looked out at the dusk, it seemed like I had slept for too long.
‘They should have woken me up,’ I had told them before going to sleep, to wake me up in a few hours, but they didn’t.
I want to know how the battle was going. It’s why I moved toward the door, before even going to the bathroom, before I suddenly had to stop.
“Fuck!” I cursed as I looked at the door right in front of me, my nose was barely an inch away from it.
“I had underestimated the advancement,” I said, a little shocked.
Since I had already advanced in my main and gotten used to the attributes’ weight, I didn’t think I would need to get acclimated to it again.
So, instinctively activated the speed skill, which I usually do when I need to go somewhere quickly.
The speed the skill has given me is beyond what I had expected. If not for the Lightning Reflexes, I would have crashed into the door.
Seeing that, I decided not to use the skill outside of the training space until I got control over it.
