“They’re done with training already?” Mu Hanyan remarked when the door suddenly opened.

“Hey! What happened down there?!” Chief Mu immediately questioned him. “And what happened to my daughter?! I swear, if anything—”
Chief Mu cut off mid-sentence as Mu Xuelian stepped out of the hole a moment later. However, there was something different about Mu Xuelian. There was an aura around her that made both Chief Mu and Mu Hanyan freeze with apprehension.
“I’m done here,” Yuan said, snapping them out of their daze.
“Already…? It’s barely been three years! Are you telling me that your True Cold Harmony reached the next realm in this short time?!” Mu Hanyan exclaimed, not daring to believe her ears.
“Something like that,” Yuan responded with a mysterious smile, keeping the truth to himself.
No one could predict how she might react if Yuan revealed the truth—that he had not only attained Flawless Cold Harmony, but had ascended beyond it, stepping into a realm that transcended the very limits of humanity.
“D-Did anything else happen down there?” Chief Mu asked.
“Are you referring to Shiva? Yes, I spoke with her.” Yuan calmly admitted.
“What did she say?! Why did she summon you?!”
Yuan looked at Mu Xuelian with a raised eyebrow.
“I see. So it wasn’t because Mu Hanyan was trying to help out an old friend but because of your command that she led me here,” he said, sounding a little disappointed.
“How else would we have met—is what Lord Shiva said,” Mu Xuelian relayed.
“What are you talking about…?” Chief Mu muttered with a dumbfounded look on her face.
Mu Xuelian closed her eyes for a brief moment, and when they opened again, a profound symbol shimmered within their depths.
“T-That symbol and presence!”
Mu Hanyan instantly fell to her knees and kissed the ground with her forehead.
