Desolate Devouring Art - Chapter 1151 - All Dead

Chapter 1151 – All Dead
The others charged forward with iron rods raised high, aiming to smash Liu Wuxie and He Yingwu’s skulls.
Liu Wuxie sidestepped the attack with ease and raised his right leg. No one present could match his adaptability.
The Thousand-Faced Saint held his own. He had once swept through the True Martial Continent undefeated, and now, he held his ground.
Liu Wuxie dodged the first blow, summoned a solid stone into his hand, and smashed it into a man’s head. Blood sprayed into the air immediately afterward.
Without missing a beat, Liu Wuxie grabbed the iron rod from the injured attacker and darted through the crowd with masterful footwork. Though his footwork looked simple, each step concealed deep intricacy.
With Ghost Eye activated, he saw through every oncoming blow and dodged them with uncanny precision.
He Yingwu, however, wasn’t as fortunate. His enemies struck him, and he winced from the pain.
“All of you, attack that brat!” Scar-Faced Liu roared.
At the command, everyone turned their focus on Liu Wuxie. They intended to take him out first before dealing with He Yingwu.
Facing a crowd alone, Liu Wuxie felt immense pressure. These attackers weren’t ordinary. They were all at the Heaven Profound Realm, some at its higher levels.
“Brother Liu, look out!” He Yingwu called, rushing to help. But every time he approached, Scar-Faced Liu’s rod would force him back.
Thanks to the Ghost Eye, the attacks appeared to below. His rod left streaks of afterimages as it moved across the air.
One by one, bodies flew as Liu Wuxie’s strikes launched men into the walls. His strikes swelled their faces and drew blood from their wounds.
If they were still in the True Martial Continent, Liu Wuxie would crush their skulls with his blows. In the Astral Domain, however, they only bled instead. Liu Wuxie showed no mercy. They wanted him dead, and he responded in kind. He stomped down hard, crushing a man’s head. His brutal stomp froze the others in place.
Slaves often fought but rarely killed each other. Even Chen Gang had only ordered them crippled.
Killings reduced mining productivity, and the higher-ups refused to tolerate such losses. The fear of punishment had kept Chen Gang and Scar-Faced Liu restrained.
However, Liu Wuxie had made no such distinction. He killed without hesitation.
Blood filled the tunnel with a reeking stench.
No one dared step forward. Liu Wuxie stunned them all with his ruthless violence.
Even He Yingwu hadn’t expected him to cross that line. The guards strictly forbade killing fellow slaves.
However, Liu Wuxie had already crossed the line. There was no going back.
“You’re dead, brat!” Scar-Faced Liu snarled like a beast.
If Liu Wuxie were allowed to live, the guards would hold them all responsible. The only way to save themselves was to bring him down.
“Don’t be so sure who’s going to die,” Liu Wuxie barked. He had no intention of letting any of them escape.
He charged into the crowd, unleashing a barrage of unpredictable attacks powered by his agile footwork and formidable body.
Even if the people of the Astral Domain was formidable, how could they compare to the people of the Celestial Realm?
Though Liu Wuxie hadn’t fully grasped the local cultivation system, he understood its structure. The Transcendent Realm followed the Heaven Profound Realm, and then the Origin Conversion Realm.
Beyond that, he knew little. Slaves didn’t have access to such knowledge. However, Liu Wuxie believed that he could reach immortality and ascend.
“Scar-Faced Liu, save me!” a young man screamed as Liu Wuxie rushed toward him.
“Too late!” Liu Wuxie growled. He swung the iron rod in an unusual arc, channeling the form of the Origin Blade. Though it wasn’t an actual blade, the rod carried tremendous force.
With a snap, the rod broke the man’s neck. He fell lifeless to the ground.
Enraged, the others charged at Liu Wuxie together.
Scar-Faced Liu followed, his rod whipping up a vicious wind. He wielded no aura or essence, but the sheer force of his strike proved he was dangerous.
“Perfect!” Liu Wuxie grinned and met him head-on.
The rods smashed together and released a deafening shockwave.
Both men staggered back before steadying themselves.
Scar-Faced Liu’s eyes narrowed. The strike jolted his arm with electricity. He never expected someone in the Earth Profound Realm to be capable of displaying such a fierce resistance.
If Liu Wuxie advanced to the Heaven Profound Realm and learned to release true essence, he would become even more fearsome.
Liu Wuxie shook off the tingling. In the moment of collision, he had activated the Divine Thunder Physique. Lightning briefly arced through his body.
The shock only deepened Scar-Faced Liu’s bloodlust. He swung again, faster and harder.
The two fighters clashed in a raw, brutal brawl. Martial arts gave way to sheer physical power.
“Die!” Liu Wuxie roared. He didn’t have time to waste. He twisted the rod and struck from a tricky angle.
“What is he doing?” someone cried out as Liu Wuxie charged straight into Scar-Faced Liu’s swing.
He Yingwu’s heart clenched. He could only watch.
Just as Scar-Faced Liu’s rod was about to connect, Liu Wuxie vanished.
The Astral Domain held rigid space, but he still managed to shift half a meter using the Spatial Dao Art, just enough to dodge.
Scar-Faced Liu realized his mistake too late.
“Too late,” Liu Wuxie said coldly.
Liu Wuxie drove the iron rod through Scar-Faced Liu’s neck and out the top of his skull.
Blood gushed, and the others froze in shock.
He Yingwu’s lips twitched bitterly. He had been worried for Liu Wuxie moments ago, but now, he realized how badly he had underestimated him.
“Run!” the others screamed.
“Where do you think you’re going?” Liu Wuxie roared.
He couldn’t leave witnesses. If even one were to escape, the guards would learn about what happened.
He had to kill them all.
Flight was impossible here, but Liu Wuxie performed the Divine Dragon Phantom, and his speed outpaced them all.
If these men had truly cultivated their skills, it wouldn’t have been so easy for Liu Wuxie to catch up to them. However, they had survived on brute strength alone.
One after another, they fell.
Within seconds, the tunnel fell silent. Liu Wuxie had wiped them all out.
He Yingwu frowned as he looked at the corpses.
Although they had prevented word from spreading, the guards would soon notice. No one else had entered this tunnel, so the guards would immediately suspect them.
“What do we do now, Brother Liu?” He Yingwu asked.
“Dispose of the bodies. Leave no trace,” Liu Wuxie replied calmly, looking at the corpses sprawled across the ground. His composure had set him apart from He Yingwu.
“But the walls are too hard. Even if we bury them, they’ll be found eventually,” He Yingwu said.
Anlu Star’s rocky terrain made it difficult to dig. It would take too long to bury all these corpses.
“I have a way,” Liu Wuxie said. He summoned the Sky Devouring Divine Cauldron and began feeding the corpses into it.
The cauldron had shrunk, but its Avici Hell fire flickered faintly; the demonic flames clearly remained strong.
He Yingwu watched silently as the bodies disappeared. He couldn’t find the words to describe his current feelings. Together, they scrubbed the floor and walls until no trace of blood remained.
As the demonic fire consumed the corpses, Liu Wuxie absorbed the laws of the Heaven Profound Realm into his body. They were laws of the Astral Domain.
He grew confident that he could break through, but he forced himself to suppress the urge.
Now wasn’t the time. Advancing to the Heaven Profound Realm meant triggering a tribulation, and he didn’t possess the resources to survive it.
Right now, he needed astral stones more than anything.
“Let’s return to mining,” Liu Wuxie said, pushing a cart deeper into the tunnel.
Ordinary slaves lacked interspatial rings, but Liu Wuxie could store stones inside the Sky Devouring Divine Cauldron.
He Yingwu followed and began digging beside him.
Aboveground, Chen Gang glanced at the time. Several hours had already passed.
The silence from below had grown too heavy.
“You, go check it out,” he ordered one of his trusted men.
