Emperor's Domination - Chapter 6740: Black Dragon

Chapter 6740: Black Dragon
“Raa!” The intruder was none other than a black dragon.
This black dragon had pitch-black scales all over its body, shimmering with a cold gleam. Each scale resembled indestructible iron ingots capable of withstanding any attack.
It charged into Divine Firmament, heading in a specific direction. It radiated a divine aura but the natives recognized a subtle difference.
The fully matured divine beasts had not yet shown themselves, but the younger ones or those who had just come of age could no longer hold back and took to the sky.
A divine bird opened its beak, gathering a mouthful of lightning. As the bolts of lightning coalesced, they lit up the entire sky before pulsing at the intruder.
The black dragon was incredibly fast and glided gracefully to dodge without changing direction.
“Raa!” Just as the black dragon swept past an enormous mountain, a white tiger leapt out and slashed with its sharp claws.
Mountains crumbled as if they were made of paper. The dragon increased speed and evaded the claws.
“Bam!” The white tiger stuck the ground instead, leaving behind a crater.
Black clouds waited ahead of the dragon. Within was a golden snub-nosed monkey, fast enough to catch the dragon.
It landed on the dragon’s back but couldn’t penetrate its scales.
“There’s a monkey here!” A rider on the dragon shouted.
Although the young monkey caught up, it couldn’t inflict any damage. Nevertheless, it revealed the dragon rider.
“Whoosh!” The dragon whipped its tail, throwing the monkey off.
“Rumble!” Just like that, numerous young divine beasts became infuriated and tried to catch the dragon. Those fast enough to catch the dragon were sent flying by its powerful tail.
In the end, none of the young divine beasts could catch up. The dragon rider burst into loud, carefree laughter, thoroughly delighted.
“Who dares trespass?!” As they flew over an ocean, a sudden roar echoed through the air. In that instant, a kui niu appeared, standing atop the sea.
This was a fully matured divine beast. The sheer force it exuded was on a completely different level, far beyond that of the younger beasts.
Arcs of electricity erupted from its body, instantly expanding outward. The lightning enveloped the ocean and pulsed outward.
A fully grown kui niu was incredibly powerful, engulfing the dragon instantly. The dragon seized up with pain from the current surges and plummeted from the sky. The dragon rider bellowed in agony while being electrocuted. Both were seared and charred.
“Cut it!” The rider ordered.
The dragon opened its mouth and unleashed a blinding slash.
“Clank!” This was enough to cut down immortals.
“Dodge! It’s on the celestial level!” Other mature beasts shouted.
This forced the kiu niu to bend down to dodge. The slash continued and sliced the sky of Divine Firmament, leaving a frightening scar.
This bought enough time for the dragon to continue flying.
“Hahaha!” The dragon rider laughed: “Duality, the brat, so reliable, to give us Immortal Emperor Min Ren’s treasure just in case.”
“Ooo!” The kui niu was furious, wanting to give chase. Lightning surged around its body again.
“Uh oh, it’s coming.” The dragon rider looked back before checking a compass: “The mind ocean is right before us, hurry!”
“Don’t pursue, let it go.” A pleasant whisper stopped the kui niu.
“Why not?” The kui niu returned and complained. The dragon, albeit powerful, was not on their level.
“It’s from Guardian Alliance.” The speaker explained.
“So what, we have no ties with them.” The kui niu said.
“Let him reach the mind ocean.” Deep in Divine Firmament, a turtle peeked its head out and said before hiding again.
"Why? It’s even more off-limits to outsiders." The kui niu complained.
The black tortoise sighed and said: “No one has been there since His Majesty’s passing.”
“It is not meant for outsiders.” The kui niu repeated.
“This black dragon’s aura, can you tell?” The pleasant voice sounded again.
The other divine beasts remained silent.
“He’s not one of us.” One said.
“But this origin...” Another hesitated.
“It’s the reason for His Majesty’s death.” The kui niu said angrily.
“Who knows?” The pleasant voice responded.
The others became silent for a bit until the kui niu spoke: “What now?”
“Let them go, I’m sure they will not stay long.” The pleasant voice said.
“Just like that?” A few were surprised.
“This isn’t a favorable development for our world.” One said.
“The lack of atavism is unfavorable, we’ve been inactive for too long.” The pleasant voice said.
“How can we do it? The traitor, Qing Ji, died long ago.” Another said.
“This black dragon is a start. There must be a reason why he is going to the mind ocean. Let them go.” The pleasant voice said.
