Emperor's Domination - Chapter 6742: Forever A Secret

Chapter 6742: Forever A Secret
“Immortal Hunt Alliance.” Li Qiye smiled: “Quite a mythical organization.”
“Do you believe in its existence, Young Noble?” She asked.
“Everyone says Immortal Hunt Alliance slays immortals and feasts on them.” He chuckled: “More intriguing is the rumor that it was formed by a group of supreme overlords. What do you think?”
“That can’t be, there must be immortals among them with power beyond imagination.” She said firmly.
He smiled faintly: “You know quite a bit, but it is true.”
“Supreme overlords hunting immortals…” Her expression grew solemn.
“Yes. A group of overlords hunting immortals for food, quite a mystery from the start.” He nodded.
“If overlords can slay immortals, then there must be a hidden ace card.” She muttered.
Long ago, no one knew of its existence. They only showed themselves during Heaven Pit, proving the rumors to be true.
Whispers of a group of overlords feasting on immortals traveled across Heaven Realm. Of course, no one believed it. Immortals had to be behind the alliance.
Despite the nature of the feast, Immortal Hunt differed from Devouring. The latter devoured everything, whether it be mortals, cultivators, or landscapes.
Immortal Hunt was selective, not picking regular immortals. They only picked the exceptional ones and looked down on Devouring Alliance.
“What ace card?” He asked.
“I do not know, I just don’t see how overlords can hunt immortals. It must have been the rare occasions.” She said.
“Any proof?” He smiled.
“Because the beast that joined Immortal Hunt was an immortal. So the rumors were exaggerated.” She said.
“That’s a logical way to look at it.” He smiled: “Divine Firmament is great. If I were a new cultivator, I would pick it over anywhere else in Heaven Realm. This was more true for a divine beast. Was eating immortals so tempting? I don’t think so.”
“I don’t know.” She hesitated for a moment before shaking her head: “I don’t think anyone will know this secret. From what I know, Empress Hong Tian killed this beast here. This world comes after.”
“Yes, a few secrets will not be figured out. After all, the dead do not speak. This applies to Skykiller True Dragon, who knows how he died?” He said.
“I don’t think anyone in the world knows.” She sighed.
“Another secret is the leaking of the divine bestial bloodline.” He remarked.
“There’s no divine bloodline outside of Divine Firmament.” She shook her head.
“Then where did all the true dragons and phoenixes come from? These bloodlines are not only in Heaven Realm but also in the outside worlds, the destroyed epochs as well.” He said.
“Those bloodlines are thin, completely different from the original and pure bloodlines.” She said: “They didn’t come from divine beasts, only the epoch known as Demon Beast.”
“It’s an interesting topic.” He said: “Demon Beast Epoch considered themselves to be divine beasts with the proper bloodlines.”
“Only demons, not divine beasts.” She said.
“Calling them only demons is unreasonable. After they reached grand completion and atavism, their bloodlines became pure and they gained divine beast gifts. Although they weren’t born as divine beasts, they still had the bloodlines to trace back to the source.” He said.
She had no response.
“It’s miraculous indeed. Divine Beast Epoch can’t be said to be anything but mighty, but such diluted bloodlines were passed down far and wide. The Demon Beast Epoch couldn’t have done this.” He continued.
“It’s too long ago, I fear no one knows the reason anymore.” She said.
“This must leave questions and doubts. Why did the divine bloodlines spread like this, and how did it become demon blood?” He gazed at the drop of blood in the crystal bottle.
“Yes, a source of confusion.” She said.
“One legend could explain this.” He said.
“Which one, Young Noble?” She asked.
“It states that a devious individual caused the divine bloodline proliferation.” He said.
“That’s impossible, the divine beasts must be the vessels for the bloodlines to pass down.” She shook her head.
“And if this is true?” He asked.
Her expression changed as she responded: “There is no way.”
“Looks like you have made up your mind.” He smiled.
She let out a sigh and said: “Ordinary divine beasts couldn’t have done this. Too much power is required.”
“At what level?” He smirked.
“At the very least, the primordial immortal level.” She said.
“Yes, and there are very few of them.” He nodded.
“Which is why this theory can’t be true.” She said.
“Plausability aside, my focus is on the deviant cultivator. Would the person only pass down the bloodline? Still uninteresting even if it started an epoch.” He said.
