Emperor's Domination - Chapter 6807: Run First

Chapter 6807: Run First
“Your Majesty, Frenzy City attacked and slaughtered us. We have nowhere to go outside of running here and asking you for asylum.” Tinyleaf City Lord said.
“How did you all survive?” Thunder Emperor asked. In reality, Frenzy City was a monster; they themselves couldn’t stop this horde.
Annihilation was commonplace in Golden Lamp, especially once targeted by Devouring Alliance.
She acted prudently, not wanting to let outsiders into the city carelessly.
“A sword immortal appeared out of nowhere and decapitated the demons in one swing.” He elaborated.
“Apexblade!” Thunder Emperor’s expression changed.
“Your Majesty, Apexblade is an immortal?” The city lord had never heard of this name before.
“I do not know.” She shook her head: “It is said that he has been around for a long time, not just in our Golden Lamp but also Stygian, killing everything in his way. Many emperors and ancestors from Fallen Ten fell prey to him.”
“So an enemy of Fallen Ten…” He murmured.
Fallen Ten was the strongest branch of Devouring Alliance. However, they suffered devastating casualties during Heaven Pit and seemed to be second to Gu Chun’s Dark Realm in the present.
“Your Majesty, we have nowhere else to go, please help us.” He stated his intention.
“Please help us.” The members on the ship begged since Thunder Kingdom was their only option, being the closest friendly power.
Tinyleaf City Lord had no ties with other places. At the very least, he had met Thunder Emperor several times.
“You may stay temporarily.” She said: “But, Thunder Kingdom might not be able to protect you all.” She said.
“That is more than enough, Your Majesty.” The city lord became ecstatic.
“Hold it!” A stern voice sounded. Although it didn’t aim at anyone in particular, listeners became suffocated.
A new aura engulfed the ship and the capital of Thunder. This was the power of an ancient ancestor.
A throne pulsing with flames appeared in the air. Within the flames, a silhouette of an old man was visible.
Everything was red, whether it be his hair and beard or the color of his robe. When he opened his bell-like eyes, the heat emanating from them could burn everything nearby. Behind him were several big shots, many of whom were just as strong as Thunder Emperor.
“Ancestor.” Thunder Emperor bowed upon seeing him.
“Blaze Ancestor.” The city lord murmured.
He was one of the strongest ancient ancestors in Golden Lamp. During his youth, he had nothing but respect for Bear Immortal. Each day, he bowed before the mountain.
After years had passed, he saw the immortal’s flames in his dream. From then on, his cultivation soared dramatically.
Because of this, some believed he could be considered Bear Immortal’s disciple. Others disagreed. He himself claimed to be a disciple of Bear Immortal; this boosted his status in Golden Lamp.
“Frenzy has been inactive for a long time.” He looked down at the ship: “Why did it come to your city?”
“I do not know, perhaps Tinyleaf is only the beginning.” The city lord’s knees trembled.
“We can’t make rash decisions before knowing the full story.” Blaze Ancestor told Thunder Emperor.
The city lord’s expression darkened since this was a refusal. He couldn’t come up with another place to go.
The cultivators and mortals from Tinyleaf turned pale. The world was vast but there was no place for them. They abandoned their home and everything, hoping to seek asylum. Unfortunately, they became vulnerable again.
The city lord brought them here, hoping for Thunder Emperor to take them in. Moreover, she had the backing of Blaze Sect – one of the strongest factions in this region.
“Ancestor, Tinyleaf is a part of Thunder Kingdom.” Thunder Emperor spoke up.
Meanwhile, the city lord secretly put the shrine into Li Qiye’s pocket.
“What are you doing?” Li Qiye asked.
“Shh…” The city lord lowered his voice: “If things go badly, run because you are the chosen one, you are responsible for protecting the shrine.”
