“Is this a challenge?” Dark Emissary still showed no hint of emotion.
“The age of Gu Chun should end now. Our Fallen Ten will take over.” Gluttonous Wolf said.
The defenders exchanged glances. What was initially an invasion of the darkness became something else entirely.
“Not under your lead.” Dark Emissary finally showed disdain. However, overlords also varied in power and ability. Moreover, Fallen Ten couldn’t compare to Dark Realm currently, whether in quantity or quality.
“Hehehe.” Gluttonous Wolf uttered coldly: “Your advantages will be gone soon, times are changing with the immortal’s return and we shall rule again.”
“You’ve received the immortal’s order as well.” The eagle was ecstatic.
This only made people think about the immortal’s identity. This immortal ordered Devouring Abyss first and now, Fallen Ten as well. This couldn’t be a mere coincidence.
An ordinary immortal couldn’t control both powers. Moreover, this being seemed to be uniting them against Dark Realm.
This was rather unprecedented because Devouring Alliance has always been united during Mang’s and Zhao Dachui’s reign. It happened briefly after Heaven Pit but Immortal Emperor Gu Chun quickly took over.
Now, it looked like Gu Chun’s reign might be over with the return of this mysterious immortal.
“Devouring is the key to our alliance. This was why people joined us. To forbid it is to abandon our original pursuit.” The eagle said.
He would be the first to support this, since he had already violated the rule.
“Mere fantasy, your life is forfeited.” Dark Emissary raised his long scythe.
“The rule is misplaced. I have not done anything wrong.” Although he had more confidence, chills still forced him to stagger backward.
“Die.” Dark Emissary pointed his scythe at the opponent.
“You don’t get to decide any longer.” Gluttonous Wolf slowly flew toward Dark Emissary.
“That’s right, Dark Realm is no longer in charge of Stygian.” The eagle thought this was the most favorable outcome.
“Come together.” Dark Emissary seemed ready to kill both.
“Me too?” Suddenly, a part of space concaved together like a sinkhole. It gave the feeling of depravity. Anyone standing too close would be dragged inside, becoming slaves to the darkness.
“Depravity Abyss.” Dark Emissary said.
“Depravity Branch.” Goldsilver Tree recognized who the newcomer was – another overlord from Fallen Ten.
“Dark Emissary, it is over for your faction.” Depravity’s voice echoed chillingly.
It appeared the scattered Fallen Ten was gathering again for a single purpose – dealing with Dark Realm.
“Words alone don’t decide.” Dark Emissary said.
“Then we’ll start with you, using your blood as initiation.” The wolf shouted.
“The rule of Gu Chun is over henceforth.” The eagle released its feathers again, illuminating space.
“Dao Return.” He unleashed another mighty slash at the emissary.
“Devour Moon!” The wolf summoned a dreadful round moon capable of freezing everything.
“Depravity Domain.” Depravity Abyss conjured a pulsing black hole.
The three overlords attacked in unison, crushing and devouring stars along the way.
