Chapter 2291: Oda Nobunaga’s Endless Castle [9]

“Yes, it’s now done at 100% as you felt earlier,” Andromeda said. “You should be able to exert your power fully now. Those three Kami from before were taking advantage of your weakened state and trying to take you down, but their power is now yours. When you ate the first one, the process accelerated even more, so I was able to get it done more quickly.”
“That’s a relief,” Drake sighed. “Now we have to find everyone else. I think I can use the powers to teleport, right?”
“It should be possible, but some may try to interfere. You’ll have to break through dimensional restrictions,” Andromeda said.
“And to do that, I need to brute force my way through space itself?” Drake asked. “Worth a shot. I’ll go straight to where Yudra is first. She’s my youngest daughter, so I’m worried about her! I hope Yuki is by her side.”
“Good choice, let’s move,” Andromeda nodded. “Your Level has yet to reach Level 1000, but you’re getting there. Although the situation is dire, if Oda Nobunaga has truly brought the Kami from Zipangu here to help him, then this could be the ideal moment for you to break through the last wall and achieve max level, Drake.”
“I know, I want to hunt every single one of them, but the safety of my family and friends comes first. Let’s go!” Drake said. His Aura erupted, as blue energy encompassed him and quickly helped him teleport.
FLASH!
Oda Nobunaga smiled while sitting on his dark throne as he watched everyone being engulfed in the dark realm within his possession. The shadows and abyssal curses, made from the slain Amaterasu, swallowed everything with insatiable hunger, teleporting them inside his hideout and headquarters, a gigantic Dimensional Construction he had created with the help of Susanoo and the other Kami who led the rebellion against Amaterasu thousands of years ago.
This gigantic Dimensional Construct was also refined by him, becoming his powerful Treasure, one that he could shift as he pleased with a mere thought and whose interior he could see and detect with ease.
All the players of this game had arrived at his board now, and they were under his rules. He was done trying to fight through the war outside, and he was going to seize Yggdrasil and its powers all for himself and his army.
Therefore, he needed reinforcements. His two generals were powerful, but he needed more. As he saw everyone appearing throughout the castle, from Fuyu’s ship with several of Drake’s members inside intact, Drake being separated by him specifically, to all the other Dragons being separated as much as he could, although some ended up together or found each other faster than he would have wished.
“Splendid work, my lord. You have finally captured everyone here!” Mitsuhide said with a vicious smile. “Now, the only thing left is to kill them before they can reunite with everyone else!”
“That dragon in particular was too strong when together with the other lizards, so it was better to separate them. After all, he will be severely weakened by now, even more so as he tries to adapt to this Cursed Dimension,” Maeda said.
“Indeed, my generals, it is as you say. Why even play fair when those ’Venerables’ were all trying to seize everything and push me away? Who do they think they are, those damn bastards?” Oda Nobunaga roared, then smiled again.
A gigantic pearl in front of him allowed him to easily see the interior of the castle and all those trapped inside. Several rooms contained those highly threatening foes.
One room held only a single Human Venerable, the Celestial Path Venerable, whose glow had weakened under the cursed pressure of this Dimension. Another room held Fortune, the Venerable of Divine Providence, who was alone and wondering where he was.
However, aside from those two, Oda had managed to capture her, the Moon Elf Venerable, Héluna, the disciple of Oberon, the first Venerable of Yggdrasil.
She had appeared in the middle of the castle’s interior, emerging with her giant domain, which Oda was unable to erode even with the power of the entire Cursed Dimension.
The giant formation she carried wasn’t just hers, but something created by Oberon himself. A giant vortex quickly formed in the middle of the castle, constantly absorbing all nearby debris and turning it into energy that the giant machine, where his new body was being formed, absorbed.
This bothered Oda greatly.
“What is that machine? How has it not been destroyed yet? This is not good… But the castle can endlessly expand. Even if they destroy all they want, if they cannot destroy the dimensional pillars, then it’s impossible for them to escape, right?”
“Indeed… That’s right.”
A large and tall figure, hidden within the shadows, spoke with a manly and youthful voice. His silhouette was barely visible as a pair of glowing golden eyes pierced through the darkness. Something enormous, resembling a massive sword, was carried on his back.
“Ahh, so you’ve arrived as well? I am glad to see you, my great friend,” Oda Nobunaga smiled, raising a cup of sake and offering it to him. “Here, come sit down to enjoy the moment with me. Where are your trio of friends?”
“I’ve sent them to eliminate that Dragon,” the figure said, slowly walking out of the shadows. “I wanted that monster eliminated as quickly as possible. Alone, they may be weaker than some like Buddha or Sun Wu Kong, but when they combine with the powers Hajun gave them, they become nearly invincible.”
“Hahaha! Then this will be a fascinating spectacle to see! Where is he right now?” Oda laughed, as he browsed through the pearl, finding the one he was looking for. “There! Dragon King… now let’s see your struggle.”
“Hmph,” the man sat by Oda’s side, drinking sake and quickly asking for more as female Yokai servants came running, bringing bottles of sake and fresh sashimi to enjoy. “Tch, this sake is too sweet. Don’t you have something spicier, Oda? This is definitely not as good as the one I enjoy in the Heavenly Palace.”
