Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 2752 - 2752: Leaving the Spiritual Sea

Alex talked with Godslayer for a bit longer, questioning if he had any idea on how he could possibly leave.
“Did no one know how to escape this place before the Hell Emperor?” Alex asked.
“No. In fact, this place was used as a prison ground for everyone who we couldn’t kill or contain. We didn’t know much about this world, but we knew those who entered it could not escape it.”
“What about the Hell Emperor?” Alex asked. “Was he sent here because he was something like that?”
“I have no clue why the Hell Emperor was here. The Demons know of this world too, so they may have been responsible in sending him here too,” Godslayer said. “Whatever the case, it wasn’t until he left that anyone even knew it was possible.”
Alex nodded.
“Now I have to be the one to do it as well.”
Only, he didn’t know where to even begin. Anyhow, the first step in all of this would be to become stronger, no doubt.
“I will leave for now, in which case the seal around me will reform again,” Alex explained. “Do you need me to do anything in particular?”
“Not really,” Godslayer said. “If I conserve my energy, I can survive for a millennia at least, but I hope you won’t take that long to enter the Immortal Transcendent realm.”
“I won’t,” Alex answered. “Right, what about your vessel? Once you become a Sword Spirit, you will need a sword to occupy, won’t you?”
Godslayer chuckled a little. “I can’t just enter any sword. A Sword Spirit needs a connection to occupy a vessel.”
Alex raised an eyebrow. “But you could enter Midnight before,” he said.
“I wasn’t a Sword Spirit before, remember? I was a combination of a soul and a Sword Spirit. Once I become just a Sword Spirit, I will have to follow the natural law of the Heavens.”
Alex frowned. “Then what vessel will you use? Midnight?”
“Once I successfully merge with Midnight’s remnant, I should be able to use the connection in those metals to enter it. So yes, a reformed Midnight will work.”
Alex nodded with a sigh of relief. “Thankfully, I won’t have to work too much then.”
“Do not try to contact me all that often,” Godslayer said. “I will try to conserve my power as much as I can while I wait for you to successfully enter the next realm.”
“Will you go to sleep again?” Alex asked.
“No, but it will be a sort of hibernation,” Godslayer explained. “I will have just enough sense left out to see what is happening in my surroundings. If you have no need for my assistance, do not contact me. But if you do need my help, feel free to contact me. For all you’ve done for me, that is the least I can do.”
“Can you even help me?” Alex asked. “I don’t mean to question your strength, but rather if you can survive afterward. You are already so weak to begin with.”
“I will die, most definitely,” Godslayer said. “And honestly, so would Midnight. But wouldn’t you want to sacrifice us if that means your survival?”
Alex wasn’t sure he did.
“I’ll keep that in mind,” Alex said with a solemn voice. “Hopefully, the next time I call for you, it will be because I’ll have found you a new home.”
“I hope so too. See you later, Alex.”
“See you later, Godslayer.”
Alex finally came out of his mind. The conversation felt as though it had gone on for a long time, but in reality, just a few minutes had passed on the outside.
His mind was a mixture of news on both ends of the extremes. One news was incredibly tragic, while the other one was beyond exciting. He didn’t know how to feel.
Feeling anything other than grief at that moment felt like a spit in Midnight’s memory. Alex shook his head and quickly went back to cultivating. There were still bits of Elixir in his body that he needed to absorb.
Whisker returned a few days later, bringing back so much more Elixir than the previous time around. He had brought nearly 3 big jars of thick Elixir, the same sort Alex had eaten at the end.
The quantity here was nearly 20 times as much as he had the last time.
“I brought back all the Elixir I could make, brother,” Whisker said. “With your technique, I had such an easy time making these.”
Alex raised his eyebrows. “I thought you had left to get back sludge. Did you only come back now because you were busy extracting Elixir these past few days?”
Whisker nodded. “I thought you would be busy cultivating, so I would have to make the Elixir anyway, so I decided to stay and make as much as I could. Did I make a mistake?”
“What? No,” Alex quickly said. “I was just surprised. I’m sorry, I should be thanking you instead of questioning you.”
Whisker smiled. “No need to thank me, brother. That’s what I’m here for.”
Alex gave Whisker half the jar to drink, but Whisker refused. “I’m not really a fighter, so I won’t need that strong a body, brother. You should eat it all and focus on improving yourself. Once we find a way out of Hell, we’ll gather as much as we can.”
Alex was about to refuse, but he didn’t see any reason to. Whisker was indeed correct. As someone who did not even engage in physical battle, he didn’t need the Elixir.
He had already entered the Immortal Spirit realm with his body cultivation, so that much would be enough for him for a long time.
Alex took all of the jars of Elixir and he could only wonder how much this would help him now. After a long thought, he opened the jars and began drinking the Elixir.
One after another, the viscous fluid with its earthy taste made its way to his stomach, through which it spread to all parts of his body, settling now in a large amount.
Once again, Alex would now have to cultivate some more in order to absorb them all into his body.
