Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 2753 - 2753: The Next Path

Whisker kept bringing Elixir and Alex kept drinking it and cultivating.
Alex kept improving slowly but surely.
Immortal Transcendent 6th realm.
Immortal Transcendent 7th realm.
Immortal Transcendent 8th realm.
When Alex realized he would have to be cultivating a lot, he made use of that opportunity to cultivate his Qi as well.
He quickly brought back a few Sunhearts and combined them with the Beast cores to form a glowing orb where Sun Wraiths incubated. He consumed them whole and burned through it in order to produce the Qi he would be using to cultivate.
Alex’s body had reached a realm far beyond what was necessary for a breakthrough. The same was true for his mind and his blood.
And combined with the 9-veined cultivation pills he now had access to — courtesy of his master, Silvermist — his cultivation speed improved drastically.
What should have taken him at least a decade more of normal cultivation was now going to take him mere months. Since cultivation was all he focused on for now, those months would go by very quickly.
One day Whisker returned and brought him some more Elixir, Alex drank it all and fell into a cultivation session. He ate his pills, this time confident that he would reach the next realm.
Immortal Origin 5th realm was around the corner.
After many months of consuming Elixir without stop, that too of the highest quality, Alex’s physical body had now reached a strength of Immortal Spirit 3rd realm.
Despite Whisker having spent a few years consuming Elixir in the desert, he hadn’t eaten as much Elixir as Alex, and that was all due to the long-winded way he made Elixir before Alex taught him the better method.
Alex received the streamlined version, with the Elixir improving his body cultivation at a rapid rate.
“Don’t go out anymore, Whisker,” Alex said before he started the cultivation. “My improvement has slowed very much and is now at a snail’s pace. Unless I consume dozens of jars of Elixir, I won’t see any improvement.”
Whisker looked confused. “Won’t you still want to continue eating the Elixirs?” he asked.
“I do, but I can help you make them too,” Alex said. “Besides, I need to find a way to leave Hell. Staying cooped up in this hut for months does nothing to help me with that, does it?”
Whisker supposed that was true.
“Then what do I do?”
Alex shrugged. “Whatever you want.”
Whisker thought for a bit. “I’ll just go make more Elixir. We can save those and you can eat those later.”
Alex wanted to argue, but he saw nothing wrong with that. “Sure, do what you want.”
Whisker stayed around for a day or two as Alex started cultivating, but by the third day, he was gone. Any amount of Elixir would be a lot of help after all. Every drop counted.
As Alex pushed through his cultivation, he could slowly tell that he was definitely going to break through this time around. All signs pointed toward it.
Alex continued his cultivation for 5 more days and he finally reached the edge of breakthrough.
With one final push, Alex broke through.
He finally entered the Immortal Origin 5th realm.
There were still plenty of Elixir in his body, and he had to consolidate his cultivation base as well, so he cultivated for some more days.
As he cultivated, Alex realized something.
Perhaps he only noticed it now because of how much his body had improved, but over the course of the past few months, his cultivation sessions had become so incredibly easy.
If he were to tell this to anyone at all, they would perhaps be quite confused at what he was talking about. Cultivation sessions were supposed to be easy. If it was not, you had to drop that cultivation technique right away and find one that fit you.
However, in Alex’s case, the difficulty in cultivation came from the strain the technique put upon his body due to the quality of Qi it circulated throughout his body, making it reach every organ, muscle and bone.
The last time Alex had changed the cultivation technique, it had been just after he had helped Shumi back outside of the Hundred Blossom Valley in the Emerald Kingdom of the Eastern Continent.
Now he wondered if he could go to the next stage of the cultivation technique.
The fifth and final rank of the Five Yang Divine Path technique: The Divine rank.
Alex closed his eyes and went through his memories for the highest tier of the technique. Qi churned within his body, slipping out of his Dantian as it crawled throughout his meridians to reach the farthest extents of his body.
Alex felt hot, truly hot, like molten lava had filled his veins somehow. He felt a force being generated outside of his body, a demand by the technique for all Yang Qi outside to get dragged into his body.
There was none whatsoever for the technique to use at all.
Alex panicked a little, worrying for his newly formed cultivation base. He had finished consolidating it, but there was a chance something bad could happen.
He quickly pulled one of the Sunhearts and ate it. It was the closest thing to Yang Qi he had with him. Even infected Beast cores didn’t compare.
Pain wrecked his body right away as his body began absorbing the Sunheart. This pain wasn’t something that could affect Alex anymore, however, so Alex continued cultivating.
His upgraded technique sucked in all Qi that formed within his body as they were all Yang Qi due to the Sunheart’s influence.
It was an incredible feeling in his stomach to sense just how forcefully the new technique had taken away his Yang Qi and thrown it into his meridians. It circulated slower due to having to cover a larger area, but it wasn’t that much slower.
And once it made a full rotation and returned to the Dantian, Alex knew that he had made the right choice in using the next stage of the Five Yang Divine Path technique.
