Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 2919: All the Changes

Chapter 2919: All the Changes
It had only been a few days for Alex since he left Hell and arrived in this room within the White Tiger’s palace, and yet it felt to him that such a long time had passed.
A long time had indeed passed, and despite the lack of memories, the awareness of the time’s passage partly caused him to feel that way. Adding onto that all the changes he had noticed, Alex couldn’t help but feel as if he had gone without stopping for literal months.
Having finally found the time to rest and be alone, Alex checked to see exactly what it was that had changed in the 50 or so years he was told he was missing from his mind.
He first checked his cultivation base again, making sure he was correct about his cultivation base.
He had indeed improved his cultivation base to the Immortal Origin 9th realm, so he was now just a hair’s breadth away from entering the next realm. Any time in the near future, he could choose to enter a closed cultivation and breakthrough to the next realm.
Alex entered his Spiritual Sea next, checking through it thoroughly. His 8 Origins now remained more or less separate as they had all but fully reached the point where they were their own thing. That one push was all he needed to keep them permanently separate.
At that point, he could finally start adding aura into these Origins.
“I thought I had more time,” Alex said to himself. He had reached Immortal Origin 7th realm while back in Hell and knew he would soon need to decide upon all of his Creations that he wanted.
However, because there were still 3 breakthroughs remaining back then, he was certain he would think of something once he left Hell.
But that time had passed now, and he was just a step away from needing to start absorbing aura. And if he didn’t feed all 8 of his Origins some aura even through just the first Immortal Transcendent realm, he wouldn’t be able to continue cultivating anymore.
As such, it was now more than ever necessary for Alex to start deciding on what it really was that he wanted as a Creation. He couldn’t keep being vague about his thoughts anymore and needed to land on something more solid.
’I still need quite a few,’ Alex thought. Furthermore, he didn’t know if he wanted what he had always wanted in the past either.
With Godslayer wanting to use one of his Origins to divide himself, and with Alex having found the sword that was Godslayer’s body, he wasn’t sure if he wanted a Creation that had to do with his Sword.
He had only wanted it back when he still only had Midnight, but now his thoughts had changed, and a Creation for his sword seemed strange when he had one of the best swords out there already in his palms.
“I’ll need to think of something else,” Alex thought and ignored the Origins for the time being, moving onto Godslayer.
The amalgamation of a sword spirit and the soul of a dead Artifact God rested in a serene sleep with Midnight’s weak nascent soul right next to him.
Godslayer was far weaker than what Alex had sensed him as last time, but then over a century had passed since the time he last woke up. And he had said he could only survive for a few more centuries.
’I’ll need to soon deal with this too,’ Alex thought. He would likely have to deal with this even before he decided on all of his Creations. After all, his breakthrough could wait. Godslayer could not.
There wasn’t much to see in terms of the Blood Origin, except that it was growing quite well.
’I must’ve absorbed quite a bit of blood during my absent years,’ he thought.
He needed to feed his blood into the Blood God’s Manual and have it feed him back an aura for it to form this Blood Origin, so it definitely wasn’t something that came to grow on its own.
Alex turned to leave at once now that there was nothing else to check, but he paused as he noticed something. He looked around, not in search of anything specific, but rather in focus of the aura that was there.
He saw the overcast sky and the murky water, and a thought came to him.
’Is my Spiritual Sea bigger?’ Alex thought.
It wasn’t something he could answer so simply. He felt at his own spiritual energy, and while it had grown in strength since the time of Hell, that made sense considering he had also broken through twice and was no longer restricted by Hell.
However, this was entirely different. It wasn’t the strength that had improved, but rather the size.
’What happened?’ Alex wondered. ’How am I overflowing with spiritual energy?’
He scanned around the area for some time before coming to a conclusion that the amount of his spiritual energy had essentially doubled.
That meant double the amount of time he could keep making pills, double the amount of time he could keep using his techniques. This was incredible.
’But how?’ Alex thought. ’What did I do? What pills did I eat?’
Or was this the effect of his Sun God’s body maturing and coming close to becoming the next thing.
“Can’t be. I must’ve done something during those 50 years,” he thought. But what could he have done that had improved the amount by so much?
Alex grimaced. “I hope I didn’t come up with the perfect recipe for a pill that does this and then completely forget about it,” he thought. “When did I even have the time to think of the pill? Whisker didn’t say anything about it, so he probably doesn’t know.”
Alex decided to find more information from Whisker once he returned. Until then, he was stuck with his own information, which was lacking to say the least.
In the end, he was saddened to not learn the truth, but was more than rejoiced about the fact that his Spiritual Sea had improved plenty in the time he was missing.
