Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 2921: In Three Clumps

Chapter 2921: In Three Clumps
Inside Alex’s Dantian, the Yang source and the Yin bead remained in eternal harmony. The Yin bead appeared stronger than the Yang source to Alex’s senses, but that was only because it gave off more Yin than the Yang source gave off Yang.
In a way, the Yang source contained itself far better than the Yin bead did.
If the two were in any other person’s dantian currently, they would no doubt be at an imbalance, causing the person’s Qi to run cold with Yin. However, because it was Alex, his Qi itself was fully Yang from the start because of his Sun God’s Celestial Yang body, which counteracted the Yin bead.
In a way, it wasn’t the Yang source and Yin bead that were in strife, but rather his body and the Yin bead. And his body lost because the Yin bead was stronger.
It was the addition of the Yang source that balanced the Yin and Yang.
His Qi hadn’t grown that much stronger since he left Hell, so there wasn’t much for Alex to see there. Any increase there aligned with his increase in cultivation base.
Alex then next moved to his Soul Space to see what changes there were.
If there were any changes to the Soul Space itself, Alex had no way of telling. His Soul Space itself was larger than his Spiritual sense could cover, so as a result he had no way of truly telling just how large it was.
He had access to every single location of his Soul Space with just a thought, but not all places at once.
Alex searched outside of the Demon Realm first to see if there were things he had acquired during his 50 years of time that he hadn’t sent to Pearl or the others.
He found the fruits he kept away from there as well as a whole host of various alchemy ingredients.
Alex’s eyes narrowed, realizing that he didn’t remember acquiring any of these ingredients at all. “Did I gather these?” he wondered.
The alchemy ingredients remained in 3 clumps. One massive clump that remained hovering in space with 2 smaller clumps on either side.
Alex’s senses immediately focused on the largest clump as he sensed what they were.
The ingredients there were potent enough that they had no doubt grown in a world brimming with Qi. They were also almost all Immortal rank ingredients, so they were things he could use.
However, there were some ingredients there that were beyond the Immortal rank as well, making them firmly a Divine rank ingredient.
Alex had never owned such an ingredient before. He quickly brought one of the ingredients out —a thick red stem of some plant— and quickly understood it to be a Divine Firebird plant’s stem. Its information was just available in his mind thanks to the Alchemy God’s inheritance.
Alex narrowed his eyes as he realized he had read about this plant somewhere before. Before even his time with Silvermist.
“Right, that one pill recipe!”
Back in the Eastern Continent of the 3rd Major Spirit Realm, he had exchanged his knowledge about Alchemy in exchange for a book from a budding Alchemist called Wu Shun. There he had found some recipes for pills beyond just the Saint realm.
One of them had been a pill that allowed someone in the Divine realm to make use of True Fire even if they had never actually learned the True Fire Dao.
“It’s useless to me, but I can get some good money from it should I make the pill,” Alex thought with an excited look. He could only imagine how much someone would want a chance to eat such a pill. It wasn’t just an opportunity to use True Fire, but also learn from it and get closer to understanding the True Fire Dao.
People would certainly pay a good price for that.
Alex moved on from the stem to the other ingredients. He recognized the rest, and while he didn’t know what pills they could be used in just yet, he knew enough about them that should he ever have a chance to start making Divine pills, he could start right away.
Alex switched his focus to the other two clumps next to the giant pile, checking to see what they were and why they were separated.
The first of the clumps surprised Alex because it was nothing more than a large amount of a single ingredient.
The White Canvas Daisy.
There were dozens of that flower, which was supposed to be hard to find.
Alex wasn’t just surprised to see them there because of their rarity, but because he actually needed these flowers in the near future.
One of his intentions was to use the Black Canvas pill as his Creation, and for that he needed this very flower. Since his forgotten self had collected all of this, it had perfectly dealt with that issue.
“Holy shit! Thank you, past me.”
That solved one of his immediate worries, so Alex couldn’t help but be happy.
After the White Canvas Daisies, Alex looked at the third pile.
These ingredients didn’t stand out that much at first to Alex, confusing him why they were even separated. Their ranks didn’t feel that great either to him. In fact, there were ingredients as weak as common rank from what he could sense.
“Why did I gather such weak ingredients?” he wondered at first, considering the fact that he may have wanted to make a certain pill.
But then, he checked through the ingredients and almost immediately, his spine grew cold. His eyes widened and his body stiffened.
“What… what is this?”
The situation made no sense to him at all. He pulled the ingredients out, one after another, and looked at them out in the open, and even then, nothing changed.
“What’s going on?” Alex thought. “What is happening? Why can’t I recognize these ingredients?”
Dozens of ingredients remained spread in the bed around him, and Alex was dumbfounded to realize that he knew the name of not a single one of the ingredients.
