Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 2933: The Tribulation Continues

Chapter 2933: The Tribulation Continues
Alex was taken aback by his own idea. The mere thought of getting tribulation lightning as his Creation was an absurd thing no doubt. He didn’t even have the faintest idea if that was possible or not.
But the sight of the powerful lightning bolt made him want it. If there was anything he could do to get that as his Creation, he would do it.
But he wasn’t sure what he could even do.
‘Do I just call for Immortal Tribulation and make use of it?’ he wondered. Would that even work?
Did tribulation lightning have an aura in the first place that he could absorb? If it did, why wasn’t it more acceptable to have it as your Creation?
‘Surely people had to have tried,’ he thought. In that case, there was one of two things happening.
Either it was impossible to turn Tribulation Lightning into a Creation, or it was so bad that there was simply no point in doing so.
‘I can’t imagine tribulation lightning being weak. Even if you fail to get the tribulation lightning itself, you would still have lightning as your Creation, which is not necessarily bad,’ Alex thought. ‘In that case, it must be difficult to do so.’
Various thoughts crossed his mind as he began considering each thought as in-depth as he could, but they were all tossed away when the second lightning bolt dropped from the sky and the shockwave of the attack reached Alex.
The force of the attack dispersed before them on the barrier around the ship. The White Tiger had activated it just in case, and it now glowed a soft orange color in places where the shockwave had passed through.
Some of the shockwave reached inside too, carrying with it the cataclysmic sound of the lightning bolt. The sound echoed throughout the many mountains in the mountain range, lifted dust still hovering in the air from the force of the shockwave that passed through them.
Bladedance appeared calm and collected, the two lightning bolts dealing no damage to her that she could not fight through. But that was only two of nine. There were still seven more remaining.
Alex stopped thinking about everything else and focused on his master’s tribulation. His eyes turned a pale purple in color and he saw nearly everything in shades of color that a normal person could not see there.
He looked toward the sky and saw a cacophony of colors gathering at the center, all slowly devoured into one single blotch of brown. Normally, brown colors were representative of Earth aura, but in this case, it was simply the collection of all colors in one.
The color then suddenly combined and it all fell down as a single bolt of lightning.
Alex’s vision went blind, whiteness being all he could see after the bolt of lightning fell. He felt the barrier shake around the ship and himself wobble a little.
He heard the old man next to him gasp silently. Even the White Tiger was shocked at how strong this lightning bolt was.
Alex knew his master’s Soul wasn’t as strong as it should have been, so her Intent wasn’t strong enough just yet. And still, she survived it all. That made him wonder just how strong she was.
At this stage, it was a guarantee that she had a cultivation base higher than the very first step of the Celestial realm.
Alex’s vision returned to him a moment later and he saw Bladedance stand atop the ruined mountain, flexing her arm. The lightning bolts were starting to have the slightest of impacts on her attacks.
Soon, it would get worse.
Bladedance took a deep breath and her sword suddenly shined white.
Alex’s eyes widened slightly as he realized that his master had only been using her Sword Intent all this time. She hadn’t used anything greater at all. She had handled three of those terrifying lightning bolts with just her Sword Intent.
And now, finally, he was beginning to see her use her Sword Qi.
There wasn’t much to see in this case, but Alex did see a hint of gold in the Sword Qi. That made him wonder if there was some Metal Qi attached to it. Some sort of Metal Qi-based technique, maybe.
The sky gathered with more aura than last time, some of which it drew from what it had already used on Bladedance before. It gathered back what it had already used, then gathered even more from the surroundings, coming up with a stronger lightning bolt.
Then it struck down at Bladedance.
Bladedance swung her sword at the last second and attacked.
Alex thought he couldn’t be surprised anymore and yet he was. The attacks Bladedance was handling all by herself were ones that could wipe out countries, if not continents. One could throw that attack in a random direction and know that you’d just committed a massacre because the span of area it would affect was unfathomable.
And yet, she not only handled it, but she also nullified it to a point that all that happened in the end was a destroyed mountain beneath her feet and a violent shockwave that had no way of killing anyone that came too close to her.
Alex stopped his Demon Eyes as there was not much he could see with it. The colors were more distracting than his shock at the scene.
Just then, he sensed something. He turned around in an instant, noticing the manipulation of space before someone’s arrival. Half a second later, the space folded and out of it came an Azure Dragon.
With their ability to teleport, they were the fastest among all others who had noticed an anomaly to come there.
The Azure Dragon looked down at the mountaintop where Bladedance fought and then toward the ship where Alex and Battlesage stood.
“As I suspected,” the Azure Dragon said.
“Is that you, senior Zhangru?” the White Tiger Mingwen asked. “Please come in. You can watch the show from here.”
