Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3121 Yangxi

Chapter 3121 Yangxi
9-veined cultivation pills were great. They were even better when one got them for free.
In a way, the dragons weren’t getting the pills for free considering they had to subject themselves to daily experiments with Alex, but Alex could easily decide not to give them any pills, and he would be right to do that. The pills were a bonus, and both dragons were more than happy to receive them.
Qing Fuojia had less strict oaths, so she was much happier than Qing Guihan, who had to give up his blood every week to Alex for some
reason.
Neither of the beasts still understood what he was doing exactly, but they were more or less certain it had something to do with the hybrid. The White Tiger had trace amounts of the Azure Dragon’s bloodline, and Alex was certainly learning from their bloodline to help the beast.
As for what exactly, they could not be sure.
Alex was getting better at understanding the blood, and with Playground’s help, he was getting even better. With three different blood samples to work with, he was beginning to gather the common factors within an Azure Dragon’s blood that made them an Azure Dragon.
He still needed more samples, though, as he could easily be mistaken when working with just three samples.
It had been nearly eight months now since Alex had entered. Time had moved so quickly while he was focused on his task that he hadn’t even realized. Pearl had found another artifact in that time and had left for the next one.
The region he had moved to was farther north, with a chilly breeze flowing through the mountain range. Many beasts had fought him along the way, but none of them had been another Azure Dragon.
Alex hoped he would get one soon, as he had learned all he could from the ones that were with him. His hopes became a reality a few days later when another Azure Dragon attacked Pearl.
This one was about as strong as Qing Guihan, and the battle ended similarly as well. As soon as the dragon got the information he was looking for, he was ready to depart, but Alex appeared in the nick of time, beating him rather badly and forcing him to swear an oath.
Once the oath was sworn, he returned with Alex to where the other two dragons were.
“Yangxi?” Qing Fuojia said with a surprised look. “You got caught too?”
“Cousin Fuojia!” the dragon said in surprise. “And cousin Guihan too? What’s… what’s going on?”
“Same as you,” Fuojia said. “Come and sit. There’s nothing else to do.”
Yangxi walked up to the two and sat down beside them. He looked at Alex to make sure he wasn’t paying attention and whispered to the two beasts. “I found the hybrid we were looking for.”
“We found him before you did,” Guihan said. “And we were wrong, it seems. He’s the one we were sent to find. I was beaten the same as you, and then he explained the situation. Cousin Fuojia here didn’t even meet the hybrid first and directly challenged our captor. She was forced to make an oath even before me and only happened to meet the hybrid by accident.”
Yangxi turned toward Fuojia. “Who is he? I can’t think of any beasts in recent years that should have his strength.”
“I have no idea,” Fuojia said. “He’s abnormal. His physical strength is beyond what we can fathom.”
Yangxi gulped. “Are we… in danger?” he asked.
“Don’t worry,” Guihan said. “Just give him blood when he wants, and
you’ll be fine. At the very least, your life is not in danger.”
“Hmm. Should we try and ambush him? Three of us together-“
“NO!”
“Don’t!”
The two dragons shouted at the same time, grabbing Alex’s attention.
“What’s going on?” Alex asked, walking up to the three.
“Nothing,” Guihan said. “Just telling our cousin not to worry!”
“Is that so?” Alex asked before shrugging. “Right, since I have a new one to work with, Fuojia, if you want to leave, you are free to do so.” Fuojia paused for a second, her head slowly turning toward Alex.
“I’m… free to go?” she asked.
“Yes,” Alex said. “I’ve gotten everything I could need from you, so if you wish to leave, you’re free to do so. Guihan will have to stay around for a few more weeks maybe, but once I find another Azure Dragon, he will be free to leave as well.”
Guihan’s eyes perked up. This had been a shorter imprisonment than he had imagined. He turned to Fuojia. “Congrats. I’ll be away soon too.”
Fuojia didn’t say anything.
Alex brought out a pill bottle. “I have placed five healing pills, eight cultivation pills, and three antivenom pills in this bottle. If you can swear an oath to not let any other dragon know what I am doing here,
you can take it.”
Guihan’s eyes widened. “Each one is… 9-veined?” he asked.
“Of course,” Alex said. “I don’t make any other pills.”
“I swear!” Fuojia shouted. “I swear to not reveal anything that
happened here to anyone at all.”
That was a bigger oath than Alex had asked her to swear, but that was
fine by him. He tossed the bottle to her, and Fuojia caught it. She quickly looked inside and placed everything into her Soul Space. Once she was certain everything was right, she looked up.
“Umm… do I have to leave?” she asked. “Can I stay instead?”
Her words made all three men there look at her with a surprised look
on her face.
“Cousin Fuojia?” Guihan asked, his look turning suspicious.
The new Yangxi could not even fathom at all why anyone would want
to remain imprisoned.
“You want to… stay?” Alex asked, unsure if he heard her right.
“Yes. And you can study me too, as long as I get more pills,” Fuojia said.
“I’ll even sell you my blood.”
Alex was at a loss for words. “Uh… sure,” he blurted out in the end. “If
you want to do that.”
“Great!” Fuojia said and sat back down, a happy smile on her face.
