Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3319 Seven Moons

Chapter 3319 Seven Moons
The Void Origin properly took shape now that Alex had absorbed a decent amount of it. Its color was slowly turning into swirling colors of purple and silver, resembling something similar to the Void itself.
It would still take a long time before he fully filled the Origin, so there was much to do.
This had been the progress of half a week.
While Alex spent all of his time with Shumi, a majority of it also included him splitting his attention to absorb the Void aura.
Shumi was positively surprised to see how well he could hold a conversation while absorbing something as impressive as the Void itself.
By now, the two of them had shared enough about themselves for Alex to be certain of one fact.
The unique energy that the Gods had was still trickling into Shumi’s Dantian, while it was completely blocked off from his. He understood that there was a chance that it would continue for him should he decide to open the seal that confined the Sun God, but that would never be a voluntary choice on his part.
Shumi talked about the promise she had made and how she planned to start helping the people even more actively once she left the Sun’s Talon realm.
Alex wanted to ask her to come along with him, but it was obvious that she couldn’t. It wasn’t just the fact that she was needed in the demon realms that stopped him from asking. As a Demon, in a time when the Humans were about to go to war against her kind, she would immediately be persecuted again.
And Alex, as another fugitive who would have to be in hiding from the Gods, would have no way to protect her as easily.
He doubted she would want to spend her time in his Soul Space when she could be doing so much more out there with the demons.
They would no doubt have to separate once they left this place, so for the little time they had, they had to be together.
It had actually taken Alex those many days to realize just how much Shumi was giving up to be here with him. At first, he had assumed that Shumi would be just like him-transcending her Origins and cultivating to the next realm.
However, she had long since reached her bottleneck in the Immortal Transcendent 1st realm and was ready to break through to the next realm whenever she could. For that, however, she needed to fill her second Origin.
And that was something she couldn’t do without the Yin tree root that was apparently back in her master’s inventory. It wasn’t the sort of item that she could be allowed to walk around with.
As such, Shumi had nothing to do except spend her time with him.
And that made Alex appreciate her presence so much more.
On the fourth day since Alex began absorbing the Void, he was in the middle of his conversation with Shumi, talking about how the Silvermoon Citadel had 3 moons around it, 4 if they counted the True Moon. He was surprised to hear that there were quite a few moons around the Demon realms.
Shumi had explained that the old world used to have seven moons in total, which was why the Moon Goddess was also called the Goddess of the Seven Moons, or the Seven Paths of the Night.
Those moons, however, had spread around to the realms instead.
“So the Demon realms have 5 moons in total? Not counting the True Moon?” Alex asked.
“Yes,” Shumi said. “Not counting the True Moon.”
“I’ve only seen a local moon on the Myriad Spirit realm,” Alex said as
he scratched his chin.
“There’s one in the Eternal Isles as well,” Shumi explained. “That makes a total of 7 moons referenced in the texts regarding the old world.”
Alex frowned slightly. “Then where does the 8th moon come from? The True Moon.”
Shumi shrugged. “Some suggest that the Moon Goddess created it the day the world broke apart, because she knew every world needed a moon. That is why you can see it no matter where it is.”
“Well,” Alex thought for a moment, “I don’t see any other explanation for why we can see it from every realm.”
“There is also a-“
“Master!” Ray appeared right then.
“Oh, hey Ray. Can you tell us where the True Moon comes from?” Alex
asked.
“The… what?”
“Never mind,” Alex chuckled a little. “Is it time?”
The crow nodded.
“Then you may begin.”
“I shall prepare it at the top of the hill.”
Ray left for the hill, and Shumi looked in that direction, curious. “Yang
Imprints, was it?” she asked.
“Or Sun Wraiths, if you wish to call them the same as the locals of Hell,” Alex said. “Look, it’s appearing.”
A Rhino burst out on top of the hill, and almost at the same time, Sun Fire appeared next to it, destroying it. Its aura remained at the place, with Ray controlling it entirely. Four more beasts appeared around the same time, which too were destroyed one after another.
Then Ray got to work, combining the Sun Fire with the aura from the Yang Imprints.
As Alex watched Ray’s work at the top of the hill, he saw the color of the Sun Fire change ever so slightly. From a pure yellow flame, it seemed to grow hotter once the Sun Wraiths were added, getting closer to becoming whiter in color.
Just then, a question popped into his head.
Sun Fire had the heat of a sun, but not its destructiveness. Sun Wraiths had their destructiveness, but not their heat. However, if one were to mix them together, wouldn’t that just be…
A wave of searing heat passed through the area, answering Alex’s question. Shumi stared at the scene with her eyes open wide.
Even Ray seemed surprised by what he had created. Not a flame, but rather a ball of pure white light of heat and
destruction.
The Sun.
Alex’s Creation.
