Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3366 Getting Closer

Chapter 3366 Getting Closer
Coldburst intensified her attacks, using one technique after another, as she kept Alex from getting a moment to rest and think. Alex fought back, keeping up with the fight, while also using both Sword Heart and his Fire to hold her Creation at bay.
They had reached what appeared to be a stalemate from the outside, but to anyone who was paying any attention to anything other than the flashy explosions, it was clear that Alex was slowly losing.
While they were almost equal in strength right now, Alex had to use more of his Spiritual energy to maintain it. Soon, he would run out of Spiritual energy and lose.
Alex understood that as well, so he had begun changing his approach. Instead of using his sword slashes to destroy the incoming attacks, he was now beginning to use his Blood aura.
Since his Blood Aura was in Divine Creation 3rd realm of strength, it was just enough to keep the attacks at bay. If any did manage to go past them, he could take it head-on with his body cultivation, which was at the same strength.
That left his Sword, which was a step stronger than his body and blood, to fight against the female dragon’s Creation.
There too, Alex was attempting to find a way to reduce the amount of his Spiritual energy usage. He had stopped using every other form of Dao slowly, reducing what he used to simply True Fire Dao, Yang Heat, and Sword Heart.
Even then, creating three separate auras with his Intent was costing him far more than if he created just a single thing.
But how was he to combine them at all?
He had thought of what to do, but he had no idea how to go about it. ‘When was the last time I combined something together?” Alex
wondered. The answer that came to mind immediately was when he combined the three different Sword Intents into a single one, so he may form his Sword Heart.
But Sword Intents were compatible things, so changing the way he thought about them was much easier. Combining Sword and Fire was surely not.
This wasn’t as simple as what he did for the True Immolation Strike. There, he layered his True Fire Dao and Yang Heat on top of his Sword Aura. Here, he would have to make them one and the same thing.
A Sword Intent that carried the burning power of True Fire and Yang Heat.
Alex focused as he let his instincts guide him at this stage more than his knowledge. He partially focused on the other half of the battle, forcing the rest of his attention entirely on the fight against the Yin Water.
His eyes saw the brilliant colors that came off his own attacks, surrounding the dark blue colors of the Yin Water. His own colors were mostly yellow and red, but there was a lack of saturation about them that was present in the Sun Fire.
“The flame needs to be hotter,’ Alex thought, focusing on it. His mind naturally began adjusting the flame. He only then realized that he was going about it all wrong.
He shouldn’t have been so focused on the sword aspect of his attacks and should have focused on combining the fire and Yang Heat, bringing it closer to Sun Fire first.
Since he had been near Sun Fire for so long for the past decade, it was incredibly easier to bring the True Fire Dao and Yang Heat Dao to work together to form what he could only call the Sun Fire Dao.
Alex momentarily wondered if it was a real Dao or not. And if he hadn’t known about the other two Daos, would he have called upon
the Worldly laws in this moment?
It was a fleeting thought that went away as soon as it came, as his focus returned to the battle.
Coldburst noticed a change within the domain of fire and sword that Alex had created around her Yin Water, but she couldn’t tell what the change was. If she could attribute something to it, then it would be the fact that there appeared to be less chaos about the whole thing for some reason.
She ignored it soon after, focusing on the fight. Alex had been using his Blood aura to fight against her Qi attacks, and she was a little annoyed by it. She had long since understood that Alex could not win against her with his Qi, but she could have never expected that he had something else that was stronger, enough to not let her immediately be victorious.
But it would only be a matter of time.
As the fight continued, Coldburst noticed something.
‘It’s hurting more and more now,’ she thought. ‘What’s going on?”
Her eyes turned toward her Creation that she was constantly replenishing to rapidly dwindle Alex’s own Spiritual energy. He had already surprised her by the amount he had, but surely he couldn’t have enough to fight against her Divine energy.
But that was under the condition that nothing changed. If his attacks somehow got more efficient against her, then she would lose Divine energy at the same rate as him, and maybe even more if things went
astray.
‘How is he-‘
Her eyes went wide in shock as she saw Alex focused on the attack at her Creation. He was retaliating against her other attacks, but never doing anything more than reactionary. He was doing the bare minimum to not lose.
It quickly became clear to her Alex had been using her Creation to improve himself. He was slowly getting better at something that she couldn’t even understand.
Somehow, that made her more annoyed than she thought it should.
Immediately, she took back her Creation, letting it no longer
replenish.
The storm of sword and fire destroyed the remaining Yin Water in no
time, at which point Alex was forced to stop and wait for the next time she used her Creation. One which never came.
