Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3391: The Sun God’s Proof

Chapter 3391: The Sun God’s Proof
The fact that the unique energy inside of Alex’s Dantian had vanished meant that it had worked, which surprised him quite a bit since he hadn’t done just a single thing, but two at once.
He had wanted one of those things to happen, while the other was an afterthought that he was fine with not working. Fortunately, it appeared the energy was usable on both accounts.
A strange sense of emptiness filled Alex when the unique energy was used up. His body had become a container for the Sun God’s energy, and now that he had used every last drop of it, it was as if there was no purpose to his body anymore.
Alex ignored the feeling and focused on the matter outside.
He slowly lowered his hand, while his eyes stared deep into Caoyang’s soul.
Caoyang felt the change before anyone else. He hadn’t realized what the change was, just that something had happened.
At the same time, multiple gasps rang out from the crowd as everyone began staring toward Caoyang.
“What?” Caoyang asked. “What happened? What’s going on?”
“Caoyang, you…” Yueming’s eyes were wide in surprise.
“You wanted proof, didn’t you?” Alex asked in a loud voice that cut through every conversation. “There you go. I hope that is proof enough.”
Caoyang finally looked at himself, and immediately, he felt his spine grow cold.
“What… what is this?” he asked, staring at his pristine white fur. “What happened to my stripes?”
Bai Caoyang now had a body with no black stripes at all. All of his fur was pure white, just like it had been for Pearl before he got his blue stripes.
“You like looking down on others that aren’t the perfect representation of a White Tiger with their white fur and black stripes, don’t you?” Alex asked. “Now let me see how you handle it when you’re the one who isn’t pure anymore.”
“No!” the tiger with no stripes said in a panic. “This isn’t me. Change it back.”
Alex scoffed. “You dare to make demands of a God not once, but twice?”
All three Celestials, the many Divinities and Immortals, all stared at Alex, unable to figure out what he had just done. In a single second, he had somehow removed the stripes from Bai Caoyang’s body without them noticing anything at all.
Bai Caoyang quickly ate some pills to ’heal’ his stripes, but those could never come back. Alex had physically changed Bai Caoyang forever to never have black stripes again.
Yueming’s eyes changed at the same time as the Patriarch’s as they both were distracted by something. Wanzhen noticed it half a second later as well, and he too began staring at the night sky.
Alex slowly smiled. “Of course,” he continued, “merely removing some stripes off your body might not have been enough proof for you that I am the Sun God, which was why that was just an afterthought. This is my real proof.”
A deep sense of fear spread through Caoyang at that moment as he felt the distant eyes of something extremely powerful. It was as if he was under the eyes of Heaven itself.
“What… what did you do?” he asked in a meek voice.
“The Sun God blessed the Heavenly beasts, including the White Tigers, to live longer than anyone else. Their blessing includes the fact that they can only go through Immortal Tribulation once every fifteen thousand years. Today, for you specifically, I have revoked that.”
Caoyang paled at those words.
“Today, while you are still a White Tiger, you are the sole exception, as you will have to face Immortal Tribulation every ten thousand years, just like everyone else,” Alex said.
His words caused another uproar among the thousands that had gathered, each fearing what it could mean for the White Tigers.
“Oh, and it doesn’t work starting now. To Heaven, you have always been like this,” Alex said.
Yueming gulped a little upon hearing that. “What… what does that mean?”
“Exactly what it sounds like. Since his blessing was taken away, for every two Immortal Tribulations he’s been through, he has missed a third one.”
Alex turned toward Bai Caoyang. “How many Immortal Tribulations have you gone through until now?”
As someone in the Divine Domain realm, Bai Caoyang had to have gone through dozens and dozens of Immortal Tribulations. As such, to the Heavens, he had now missed over a dozen tribulations.
And the Heavens didn’t look kindly on those that didn’t abide by the rules.
The sky rumbled, and everyone who heard the sound felt their heart skip a beat.
“P-please, no. I-I apologize. Please take back—”
“You better leave now,” Alex told the White Tiger. “If you waste any more time, then all that will await you is certain death.”
Caoyang’s breathing grew ragged. He looked around, asking for help, but no one there could help him.
“You better leave now,” Wanzhen told him in a serious tone. “NOW!”
Caoyang vanished.
Alex looked at the leftover group of White Tigers. “Anyone else want some proof?” he asked, lifting his hands.
No one dared.
Slowly, Yueming lowered herself to the ground, fully prostrating before Alex.
“I need no other proof,” she said. “You are the Sun God.”
Wanzhen lowered just as quickly. “Sun God!”
The other White Tigers dared not stay up when two Celestials bowed before Alex.
“Sun God!”
“Sun God!”
“All hail the Sun God!”
One by one, thousands of beasts began prostrating around Alex as they all chanted who they believed him to be.
The Patriarch, Bai Fulin, Bai Heijing, Bai Jingshen’s wives, his children, and grandchildren—no one remained standing.
Even Bai Jingshen himself smirked a little and bowed toward Alex. Pearl and Whisker did the same in the end just to not stand out.
Alex watched in awe as thousands and thousands of the White Tigers, guards, and every other beast out in the massive garden prostrated toward him, all chanting the same thing.
“ALL HAIL THE SUN GOD!!”
And as they chanted those words, something inside of Alex changed.
He felt an invisible wall around him crumble away as the emptiness within him vanished.
His body found a new purpose.
Where before his Dantian was completely empty, Alex now felt something trickle into him.
