Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3471: Relocation Preparation

Chapter 3471: Relocation Preparation
“The Divination God can also be wrong. Not everything we hear here is to be fully trusted,” Bladedance said as they prepared to leave. “Don’t make all your decisions based on a future that hasn’t yet come true.”
The Wine God nodded, seemingly accepting Bladedance’s words on the outside, but one could only guess at what his inner thoughts were.
They walked back out of the library, having remained inside for multiple days now. Reading and discussing so many records and books had taken a lot longer than any of them had thought it would.
“Do not discuss anything else now,” Bladedance said as she departed. “Keep everything you think of to yourself.”
Alex nodded and bowed, watching her leave.
Bladedance wanted to cultivate every chance she got, so once again she would enter closed cultivation. With her cultivating now, she wouldn’t leave for another 3 months at the very least, so Alex had a lot of free time.
The Wine God left as well, claiming that his son would handle everything Alex needed in the coming days.
Alex returned to the room he was prepared in and spent some time cultivating by himself. He also spent his time going through his Soul Space and seeing how far along everyone had come.
At the same time, he told the people inside the Playground to prepare to be relocated in the coming days. In preparation for their relocation, Alex began making pills to forcefully erase the memories of the past few decades from their minds, as he did not wish for anyone to remember where they had been.
Since most of the individuals there were in the Saint Realm, with only 3 people in the Immortal Realm, making such a pill took no effort at all. He easily finished making the thousands of pills in under a day, and with Whisker’s help, he fed each of the people said pills.
“We thank you for all you have done for us, senior,” the old chief of the tribe said to Alex from inside his Soul Space. “We will have forgotten everything soon, so I wanted to say it before we do.”
“That’s fine,” Alex’s voice came. “I am glad to have saved you too. Without that, I would have never come across the book at all.”
The old chief didn’t appear completely happy about the fact that the book was being kept by Alex, but there was nothing he could do about it. Alex thought of explaining the fact that the book was meant for him to begin with, but it would not matter, as the man would lose his memories soon enough and would be left wondering what happened to it once again.
After they all ate the pills, they were sent back into the Playground, where the Playground would keep them occupied as Alex prepared for the relocation.
He found Wineshard a week and a half later and learned from him that there was indeed a place that had already been prepared for them. All he had to do was bring the people there.
With that knowledge, Alex left the Wine God’s palace and departed for the city in the south. Wineshard came with him, keeping him company, as they teleported to a major city in that area by the name of Raingear. It was by the edge of a massive sea, which brought along rainclouds every afternoon, dousing the citizens in constant rain every day.
As they arrived, Alex was quite stunned at the presence Wineshard had in the city—not because of his cultivation base, but because of who he was.
Alex had been so focused on his identity as the son of the Wine God that his other identity had completely slipped his mind.
He was the prince of this continent, and these people seemingly loved their prince.
“My father has instructed me not to follow you to the location, so I can only instruct you as to where it is,” Wineshard said as he brought out a talisman. “There is a city about 2 hours’ journey southeast of here by the name of Seaweed City. If you go an hour south of that, you will arrive at the Threepine Forest. Just before you reach it, a span has been cleared out with some temporary houses built upon it.”
“You will find a few people there, and once you explain who you are, they will depart, leaving you alone.”
Alex thought for a moment. “Go past Seaweed City and stop before the Threepine Forest? Got it.”
Wineshard nodded. “If you wish, I can come along too.”
“That’s fine, senior. I have to do it alone. I hope you can allow me that.”
The man smiled. “There’s no allowing or anything. It’s what the Sword God requested. I can only comply,” he said. “How long do you think this task will take you, though?”
Alex paused for a moment, thinking. “Maybe a week,” he said. “I can’t be certain, really. There are a decent number of people that need to settle down there.”
“I see,” Wineshard said, not prodding about the people themselves. “One week sounds good.”
Alex cocked his head. “Would there be a problem if I were to be late? If you need to go somewhere, that’s fine too.”
The man chuckled. “With so many people after you, I can’t possibly let you be alone for too long,” he said. “There are far too many people who would benefit from capturing you, and I have been put in charge of stopping that from happening.”
“Ah! Then I shall be as quick as I can. I don’t wish to be a bother to you, senior.”
“You aren’t,” the man said. “And that’s not truly the reason I want you to be quick. It’s just that there is an auction happening in this city two weeks later, and I was hoping to go there. Since the auction here lasts for nearly a month, I will have to be with you at all times. As such, you will have to be there when it starts.”
Alex’s eyebrows rose. “An auction, huh? That sounds fun. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to one.”
