First Demonic Dragon - Chapter 1106: Zahara Wants to be An Actress

Chapter 1106: Zahara Wants to be An Actress
“…What are you guys doing?”
“School stuff.”
Zahara tilted her head as she watched Abaddon help Odessa write inside of a colorful children’s booklet.
“…Are you all not bothered by that hole in the ceiling?” Zahara pointed up.
Abaddon and Odessa looked at it for a moment before returning to their workbook
“Not really. We’ll be moving soon anyway, we’re just going to wait for Ayaana to finish her process, and then we’ll find somewhere new to live.”
Zahara continued to stare at her husband for a long time, unmoving.
He put down his crayon and stared at her with a slight look of amusement.
“If you want something, you should say it out loud. I can read your mind, but I like my women to be bold.”
Zahara took a deep breath. “…I do not believe I would like to stay here. It makes my skin crawl for reasons I cannot explain.”
Abaddon was pretty sure he knew why because he was feeling the same way.
There was something about having your home broken into that robbed you of your ability to relax properly.
So far, the only ones who were unaffected by everything that’d happened were the children. But Abaddon hadn’t slept in two weeks now.
“I suppose that we could take the family to Eden for a bit… might be nice to-”
“A-Actually..!” Zahara interrupted. “There’s something that I really, really want to do!”
Odessa and Abaddon stared at her with an air of curiosity.
–
“Welcome to the Grand Leisure hotel, how can I g-g-g-g-g..!!”
Abaddon watched the dragon behind the counter go down like a house of cards.
He wished he could say this behavior was unexpected, but it really wasn’t. Despite ruling over Tehom, Abaddon had not been seen in public for quite some time now.
He was already starting to attract a lot of shocked stares.
‘I think as long as Zahara’s around, I’ll be spending a lot more time outside…’
“D-Do you think he’s okay?!” Zahara leaned over the counter worriedly.
“What an overexcited lad…” Gulban grumbled.
“I could understand if he fainted at the sight of my beauty, but just you feels a little unnecessary.” Igrat flipped her hair over her shoulder.
Abaddon had noticed that even though his father and his grandmother did not have the best relationship, their personalities were infuriatingly alike.
“Ah! My word!”
A dragon-headed nevi’im in a neat black suit rushed over when he saw the large family just standing around.
“P-Please forgive this imbecile..!” The manager discreetly kicked his employee. “-For his discourtesy in front of you, my esteemed lord and lady.”
“Da.”
“And of course, the prince and princess.”
K’ael stuck out his chest proudly. Abaddon merely gave the little boy a flick on the nose.
“H-How can I help you today, my god..?”
Abaddon opened his mouth to speak.
“We need rooms!” Zahara said excitedly. “Is that okay?? Can we stay here!?”
The manager thought that he had died and gone to heaven. For a moment, Abaddon even thought he saw his soul start to leave his body.
*Sniff!* “O-Of course you can, my lady…! I-It would be my honor!!”
The manager proceeded to boo-hoo-cry before he could even finish checking Abaddon and the family in.
Zahara, feeling guilty, placed a hand on the man’s shoulder.
“There is no need to cry, Rorik. This day is a cause for celebration and smiles.”
Zahara believed that she was helping, but little did she know that her efforts only made things ten times worse.
“T-The goddess knows my name…!”
The manager collapsed right on top of his employee. Gulban cackled at their display and made several unkind comments about how ‘suggestive’ everything looked.
Lastly, another woman in a pin-stripe suit came over to the group and bowed respectfully.
“…I’ll be showing you all to your rooms now.”
“Don’t you need to know how long we’re going to stay and stuff?”
“Forever??”
“I don’t think so…”
“Oh…”
–
Hotels in Tehom have a variety of purposes. Sometimes, dragons just like to stay in new places and be treated like royalty for a bit.
The Grand Leisure Hotel is one of the most famous locations in all of Tehom. It sits right on the edge of the black sea, an entryway into the twins’ domain.
The pink sand lining the coast makes this a popular destination for lovers and older children on breaks from school.
Supposedly, the hotel offers a litany of services, from in-room meal prep and services to escorts, masseuses, and even entertainers.
“So pretttyyyyy!!!!”
As Zahara burst into the room, she could barely contain her excitement.
The room they had been given was the absolute best the hotel had to offer.
It was a large space, with ornate white and gold walls and furnishings. The ceiling itself was a literal aquarium filled with fish native to Tehom’s waters.
Odessa seemed to be fond of that. K’ael seemed indifferent.
“This place is amazing!” Zahara zoomed across the room like a child on a sugar high.
Suddenly, she appeared in front of Abaddon with her hands out in a begging gesture.
“Can we please decorate our next house like this! It would be so gloriousss!”
Abaddon snickered. “You’ll have to convince Valerie on that one. She swore we weren’t getting any more white furniture until the kids were grown and Darius learned to stop touching things after eating ribs.”
Zahara clenched her fists in determination.
“I can convince her. I’m sure of it!”
Abaddon briefly recalled Zahara’s earlier little strip show in the kitchen. Including her new additions.
He had absolutely no doubts that Valerie would fold like a paper towel at the sight of them.
Zahara paced around the room while looking over a flyer she pilfered from the desk.
“They have so many things to do here, it all sounds so exciting! Shark-back riding, an amateur basketball court, a hair salon, a movie theater, a bar, and- N-Nevermind, we have to go to the bar!!” Zahara insisted.
Abaddon tilted his head. “It’s a little early for that, isn’t it, my love? Why are you so excited about a simple bar anyway?”
“You’re not seeing the vision!”
Zahara snapped her fingers, and Abaddon was suddenly stunned. He was trapped inside of the best illusion he’d ever seen. It was almost like a real-life display.
He could see Zahara sitting at a bar all by her lonesome. She wore a racy black dress adorned with her back cut out and a pair of fishnet stockings.
“Can’t you just picture it??” her voice echoed. “The scene of a beautiful woman all alone at the bar, depressed from her recent divorce…”
“Wait, what?”
“Just go with it, honey.”
Suddenly, Abaddon saw himself step into the illusion.
“All of a sudden, she’s approached by the handsome bartender, whose arms look too firm to hold such delicate glasses, and whose eyes are intense and filled with an underlying lust and deep understanding of the emotional spectrum!”
“You’ve inherited Izanami’s love of dramas, haven’t you…?”
“Just picture it! The two talk for a moment as he continually serves her drinks throughout the night! All of a sudden, the bar is about to close, but it’s late, and the bartender is worried about her getting back to her room safely!”
“You definitely have her love of dramas…”
“But then, after a night of subtle flirtation and a heavy amount of alcoholic beverages, the woman’s inhibitions are lowered, and she’s led upstairs by the hole in her heart and the aching in her loins!”
Abaddon manifested headphones over his children’s ears, as well as blindfolds, just in case they were also seeing the illusion.
“They ride up in the elevator, but in that tight, cramped space, their bodies brush against each other, and that’s all it takes to send their lusts into overdrive! The woman, unused to the touch of a man after so many years, reaches orgasm quickly from just a little bit of dry humping and butt squeezing! And then, as the two of them stumble into her room, they tear off each other’s clothes and-”
*Ahem* “I get it, I get it.” Abaddon coughed. “That can.. Definitely be the plan for tonight.”
The illusion suddenly faded, and Abaddon once again came face to face with a heart-eyed Zahara. Her cheeks flushed with red, and her breathing was incredibly erratic.
“It will be… glorious..!” She exclaimed.
Abaddon participated in some roleplay with Lailah every blue moon. Her teaching personality made the entire experience far more realistic.
But he was slowly coming to the realization that with Zahara around, it would be something he did much more frequently.
Slowly, Zahara pulled herself together by taking several deep breaths.
She dropped to her knees in front of Odessa and smiled at her warmly.
“And what about you, my darling child. What would you like to do while we’re here? I believe there’s a child’s pottery seminar, and a playroom if you’re interested.”
Instead of answering right away, Zahara lifted up her tablet.
She visited the site of a very particular streaming service and pressed play on a single show before showing her mother.
Here I am in your life~ Here you are in mineee~ Yes, we have the suite life~ Most of the timeeee!
Zahara slowly looked up at Abaddon, not understanding.
Her husband could only shrug.
“Well…at least we won’t need a babysitter.”
YOU AND ME WE GOT THE WORLD TO SEE SO COME ON DOWNNNN
