First Demonic Dragon - Chapter 1115: Back to The Beginning?

Chapter 1115: Back to The Beginning?
Abaddon kept his scaly gaze firmly affixed to the clock in the room.
He watched the short and long hands as if his life depended on it. The slow tick, tick, tick was all his ears could hear.
When the clock struck eight thirty, he knew it was time.
He turned his head towards the sofa, where Lailah used to sit with Izanami.
Now, Ayaana was stretching in her place.
*Yawn* “Morning every- WAAH!”
Abaddon used his tail like a whip and pulled Ayaana toward him by the waist.
He shook her like a rag doll with clear panic in his eyes.
“What do you mean you think Hastur’s ugly ass is in Dola?!”
Ayaana was usually exhausted whenever she came into being, but somehow this felt completely different.
Her eyes immediately showed her clear lack of amusement.
“…Do you ever feel a deep disdain for parts of yourself? That’s how I feel right now..”
Inside of her, Erica and Audrina were covering their heads and whistling nonchalantly.
“Don’t be upset with them, they told me that because they knew how important it was to me.”
“As do I, but I didn’t want to tell you until I was completely sure. The last thing I need is you getting fired up for nothing.”
“T-That wouldn’t happen!”
Ayaana delicately held out her hand.
She caught a small ember of flame and held it out for Abaddon to see. Her eyes seemed to find this painfully ironic.
“… Points have been made.”
“I thought so.”
Abaddon slowly put down his wife only for her to fold her arms at him.
“As I said, I wanted to wait until I was completely sure before I told you anything.”
“But the girls said you were ninety percent sure!”
“That doesn’t feel like enough though…” Ayaana scratched her head. “I think I’m a bit of a perfectionist.”
“I’m aware. When I tried to make our bed you made me use a ruler to do it.”
“Anything else feels anarchical.” Ayaana shrugged.
“There’s a literal anarchy goddess inside of you.”
“So that means I can’t like things to be a little neat sometimes?”
Now it was Abaddon’s turn to stare at Ayaana with an unamused gaze.
“Okay, points have been made.”
“Mhm.”
Ayaana sighed. “Look… It’s not necessarily about you. It’s Asherah I’m worried about.”
Abaddon tilted his heads.
“She’s going through a lot, you know?” Ayaana reminded. “Things have only just gotten under control after that disaster of a trial. She’s had feelings of inferiority piling up even before then. How do you think she’s going to feel if you show up and tell her that she might be harboring a horror on her very own planet without knowing it?”
Abaddon didn’t need to think too hard. Asherah would very likely feel the same way he would. Inadequate.
Her inferiority complex surrounding Yesh’s disappearance was only growing larger by the day. Yet she had to keep her head held high as if nothing was wrong or risk total collapse.
Abaddon already blamed himself for losing control during the trial. So he wouldn’t add on to the stress she was already experiencing a second time.
“Okay, I get it… But still, we can’t leave him there. We have to check things out without tipping her off.”
“I thought you would say that. It’s why I’ve been working on a plan of my own.”
Ayaana snapped her fingers and a large whiteboard appeared. It was complete with several poorly hand-drawn doodles.
“Those, umm…”
“I thought you might have some difficulties understanding the full complexities of my plan, so I added pictures to make it easier, and-”
*Snicker.*
A large vein bulged in Ayaana’s brow. “…I’m sorry. What was that laughter about?”
“It’s nothing, it’s nothing… I just thought that your doodles were very cute.”
“Is that your way of saying ugly?!”
“I like creative better.”
Ayaana wasn’t sure if she wanted to strangle her husband or hit him over the head with something.
“…Look, I was going for a more avant-garde aesthetic, okay?! I coulda made them look better if I wanted!”
“They’re perfect as they are.”
“Don’t patronize me!” Ayanna grabbed her husband by one of his necks and raised her fist.
“Now, now, let’s not be like this with each other…”
Suddenly, Sif appeared between the duo and separated them with her body.
Ayaana looked her up and down with clear interest. Due to their schedules not always lining up, she never really got to lay eyes on Sif, or Izanami for that matter.
She liked what she saw.
“Well, hello there, big blue… you’re certainly easy on the eyes, aren’t you?”
Sif’s entire face turned red.
“And she’s shy? That’s even cuter?”
Ayaana leaned forward while grazing her hands against Sif’s exposed abs.
“How fit… is this body just for show or can you put it to good use-”
“Is that… a hot dog?”
Ayaana followed Sif’s distracted gaze toward the whiteboard.
Abaddon preemptively covered his eyes.
–
’…She’s mean.’
’I know.’
’She’s really hot though.’
’Unspeakably so.’
Abaddon and Sif were both sporting incredibly large knots on their heads while they sat on the carpet.
Ayaana used a laser pointer as she explained to the two of them the full details of her plan to sneak into Dola, as well as why she believed Hastur was there in the first place.
They heard maybe every third word from beginning to end.
“So, that’s it.” Ayaana finally turned around. “I can get us in there, but we’ll have to keep a low profile once we’ve made it and we’ll have to leave so much of ourselves behind. And in the meantime, we have to pray Asherah has something else to focus on.”
She put away her laser pointer and looked down at her husband and wife who stared at her fiercely.
“Any questions?”
“”N-No…”” They shook their heads.
“Good. So we’ll leave in twenty.”
Sif raised her hand and Abaddon lifted his tail.
“You both literally just said you didn’t have questions.”
“”Changed our minds.””
“Christ… what is it?”
“Can we extend that amount of time before we leave? Oh, and what are we going to do with the kids?”
“Are we taking the house with us or linking it to any random doorway we find? Also, strap or scissors?”
Ayaana had absolutely no idea how she was supposed to feel. “… Those questions feel like they’re coming from two very different places.”
“”They are.””
Ayaana’s brow twitched awkwardly.
She grabbed the whiteboard sitting beside her and pointed to the picture of the alleged hot dog.
“Before I answer those things, what does this look like to you?”
“”A dragon.””
“Not a hot dog?”
“”Not at all.”” The duo shook their heads robotically.
“As I thought.”
Ayaana tossed herself into the laps of Sif and Abaddon to make herself more comfortable.
She grabbed her wife by the hand first.
“Bringing the house might be too noticeable, and linking it to somewhere inside the world would bear the same problem.
I could attempt to hide it, but there’s always a chance that Asherah would notice the signs of Audrina’s power and start poking around. We’ll make a temporary residence again.
With the kids, I don’t know if it’s wise to bring them… Odie probably could go unnoticed, but K’ael is a bit more unlikely. Like I said, I can attempt to hide him, but if Asherah recognizes the signs of my meddling then…”
Ayaana shrugged and didn’t bother to finish. Given the situation, neither of them really needed her to.
“And… with your other questions…”
Ayaana gently put Sif’s hand between her legs and gave Abaddon a sultry look.
“I suppose we can sacrifice an hour or two before we go… and what we do with that hour can be whatever the hell you want~”
Sif and Abaddon developed dual nosebleeds.
*Click!*
Briefly, Abaddon and the others looked up to find Izanami with an entire recording setup erected.
She had not only her phone, but also a professional recording camera. Her cheeks were completely flushed and her breathing was quick and shaky.
“D-Don’t mind me, just keep going! I’ll capture every single moment and treasure it for the rest of my life and-”
“This is a bad time, huh?”
Eyes drifted towards the doorway where Igrat and Nyx were standing and staring.
“You had some people waiting to speak to you, but I think they can wait until you guys finish… whatever this is.” Nyx waved her hand over all of them.
“”Okay!”” Sif and Abaddon leaned towards Ayaana.
The goddess caught them both by the face and kept her attention on Nyx.
“They can come in now if they feel like it. No one’s going to bite them.”
“I might!” Abaddon roared.
Ayaana taped all of his mouths shut.
“You can stop hiding around the corner now. We can all smell you.”
There was an awkward silence at first.
However, the silence was soon overshadowed by the shuffling of feet.
Abaddon and his wives watched as a trio of nude women wandered into their sight.
Ayaana smiled at them politely.
“I’m glad to see you all are doing much better now. Might you be hungry?”
