First Demonic Dragon - Chapter 1211: Lailah Is A Vengeful Goddess

Chapter 1211: Lailah Is A Vengeful Goddess
As Lisa hums a soft song to herself in the kitchen, she suddenly hears her husband and wife coming down the stairs.
Her heart warms in anticipation of seeing their faces and telling them the good news.
…And then she hears the arguing. And suddenly she begins to question whether or not she should have picked a stronger wine for dinner.
“I said no!”
“You’re doing it! We’re doing it, it’ll be good for you to heal your trauma!”
“Do you understand how long ago that was?! I don’t even care anymore!”
“I care! Those shitsticks don’t get to just talk about you and live their lives peacefully! They need to feel the weight of their folly!”
“Having them get into car accidents and lose their jobs wasn’t enough!?”
“You know it wasn’t!”
Lisa reflexively starts pouring more wine into the pot roast. In seconds, she has almost created meat sangria.
The arguing gradually gets closer.
“Why won’t you just let me avenge you?”
“Because I do not need to be avenged..?”
“Bull.”
“Lailah!”
“Don’t say my name like that!”
“Like what?!”
“Like you don’t love me!”
“You’re being hysterical.”
“You’re supposed to love that about me!”
Finally, Abaddon enters the kitchen with a look that said he’d been aged a thousand years.
In contrast, Gabbrielle sat upon his shoulders as if she were queen of the castle. She held on to her father’s horns and swung her feet leisurely.
Right on Abaddon’s heels wereLailah and, behind her, Izanami.
She and Lisa lock eyes for a moment, and it seems that they are both exhausted and concerned as to just how far the spat between their partners will go.
“Do I even want to know what all of this is about..?” Lisa sighs.
Izanami rubs the back of her neck, unsure of where to begin. “Well…”
“Darling, look at this!”
Lailah rushes to Lisa with her phone out.
Her eyes scan the online flyer, and a bit of surprise comes across her face as she turns to Abaddon.
“This is your old high school, isn’t it?”
“…Ye-”
“Yes, it is!” Lailah answers quickly. “And they are having a reunion! Something he has to go to!”
“I don’t have to do anything but stay black, scaly, and die.” Abaddon paused upon remembering who and what he was. “…Actually, I don’t have to do anything I don’t want todo !”
Lailah grabs her husband by his hoodie. “But it’ll be good for you! Don’t you want to go and show all of those fools just how wonderful you turned out to be?”
“They don’t even remember me.”
A magical pulse left Lailah’s body.
It washed over the kitchen, the house, the state, and all of Earth in just under thirty seconds.
“They do now.” She smiled beautifully.
Abaddon could only look towards Lisa for help.
Unfortunately, the wife who was usually the most sensible of their entire group was going to surprise him for once.
“Honestly, honey… I can’t say that I don’t understand our love’s excitement. I also have always wanted those who were cruel to you to know what you grew up to be. If only to appease my own feelings of resentment on the matter.”
Lailah stared at Lisa with hearts in her eyes.
“My darling… I could just kiss you…!” She leaned forward.
Lisa caught her wife’s mouth before she could connect with hers.
“That said… I don’t think we should be forcing our husband into going back to that place if he doesn’t want to. Besides, he’s a grown man. A god at that. I doubt he even puts those humans in his eyes.”
Now Abaddon was filled with the urge to kiss Lisa. He wrapped his tail around her and pulled her into his arms with a smile.
“Have I told you how much I love you?”
“Not lately…” She grinned.
Their faces lean towards each other, but Lailah places her hands against both their lips to stop them.
“If you both love me, you would do this.”
“”Stop trying to manipulate us!””
“Tch.”
Left with few other options, Lailah finally turned toward Izanami, who was floating around the kitchen, staring into the pots.
“Izzy, my darling~”
Izanami stiffened. “Y-Yes..?”
“You agree with me, don’t you, honey?” Lailah’s eyelashes fluttered seductively.
Izanami’s cheeks became flushed with red.
Abaddon took a plastic bag from the counter and placed it over Lailah’s head.
“Stop trying to entice her to your side, you know she’s weak to sex appeal!”
Lailah ripped through the plastic. “I wouldn’t have to resort to this if you would just agree to go!”
“Lailah…”
“Tell me honestly, have you never once thought about it? Seeing your former classmates with your beautiful wives on your arm when they’ve all deteriorated and are still hanging on to their mediocre popularity from their adolescence?”
Abaddon wanted to say that Lailah was trying to coax him into objectifying her and their wives. He saved his breath, knowing that she could not have cared less in this particular instance.
Lailah placed her hands on her husband’s cheeks.
“I want those urchins to regret overlooking you. I want the entire world to know just how great a man you are, and that you’re all mine.”
“…Still no.”
“Fuck!”
Lailah stamped out of the kitchen with a huff, and Abaddon watched her go with a wry expression.
But soon, Gabbrielle places her head upside down in his field of vision.
“She’s not going to stop until you go.”
“I know.”
“You probably should just say yes to save yourself some time.”
“I know..”
“Though I must say I am very proud of you for your evolved and dignified stance on the matter.”
“Thank you, Peach.” Abaddon smiles as he gives his daughter’s cheek a slight pinch.
Some of Abaddon’s children were still in the kitchen, listening to everything their parents argued about with wide-open ears.
Thrudd put down her playing cards and rested her elbows on the table. “You know, Dad… Maybe you should go. Give some of those pickle-dicked roaches a first-class train ride to Oblivion.”
“This is a literal perfect face-slapping opportunity. A fellow otaku like you can’t just pass this up.” Belloc reasoned.
“I am not an otaku.”
“Once an otaku, always an otaku, father. This is the way.”
Apophis slapped his brother over the head.
“Look, nerd shit aside, pops, if you want me to go in there and set the building on fire, I’d do it. Just because I love you that much, big man.” Apophis tapped his chest twice and pointed at his father.
Abaddon’s eyebrow was raised as he listened to his kids give outlandish suggestions. He was only happy that they had started making them once Lailah had left the room. It would have only added unnecessary fuel to her fire.
Satan burped abruptly from his seat at the bar. “Well, I think-”
Izanami flicked her finger, and the demon lord went flying through a window. Lisa nodded in solidarity.
“Anyway… What’s all this…?”
Abaddon swept his gaze over the countertop lined with dishes. He sniffed the air and picked up something sweet and familiar.
“You’re baking..?” He asked Lisa. “…Who died?”
His wife chuckled as she returned to cooking. “No one died. I just wanted to throw a nice little dinner together in honor of-”
Satan opened the patio door and came back into the house. “In honor of your daughter being a freak ho!”
With a thought, Abaddon burst the man’s head like a balloon.
He placed two fingers in his mouth and whistled.
Gandora came rushing into the room excitedly. Her tongue and tail wagged in unison.
“Eat, girl.” Abaddon pointed.
Gandora didn’t hesitate to drag her prey outside and enjoy the meal she was benevolently offered. Abaddon couldn’t wait to see the look on Satan’s face when he reconstituted himself from a pile of shit.
“Now… what are we having this dinner for again?”
Lisa smiled in reverence. “Our daughter has fully stepped into her womanhood. I thought it would be nice.”
“Truly??” Izanami’s eyes sparkled.
“Yes!”
The two of them held hands as they giggled excitedly.
Abaddon rubbed the back of his neck, unsure of how he should react now that Aj and Courtney were back together. “Oh, that’s… nice, I suppose.”
His wives pinched him.
“Hey, why didn’t the rest of us get celebrated after we lost our virginities??” Nubia frowned as she shifted her daughter into her other arm.
Lisa narrowed her eyes. “Would any one of you have wanted one?”
The children paused and looked at each other in unison.
“…No.” They answered at once.
“Didn’t think so.”
Abaddon followed his nose towards the oven.
He cracked it open and found a large pastry in the process of baking.
“…What aren’t you telling me?”
“Hm?” Lisa feigned ignorance.
“You only make red velvet anything when you’re trying to fix my mood. What’s the occasion this time?”
Lisa couldn’t even face her husband. “Don’t be silly, I don’t-”
“Courtney brought a prostitute.” Mira blurted.
Abaddon immediately stumbled and fell to his knees.
“S-Stop being so dramatic!” Lisa scolded. “She’s a big girl, she can make her own choices!”
“I’m going to shrink her so that she can’t.” Abaddon responded from facedown on the floor.
“You will not!”
As if on cue, Lailah came rushing back into the room.
In her hand, she held a signed piece of paper with the names of the rest of their wives on it.
“Everyone else agrees with me! We’re going to that reunion!”
After everything he had been through since he entered the kitchen, Abaddon was done. His will to continue fighting against the tide of insanity that was his family no longer existed.
“…Whatever.”
“Yes!”
