First Demonic Dragon - Chapter 1219: Dragon Lord / Dream Lord

Chapter 1219: Dragon Lord / Dream Lord
Nyx thought she would have gotten used to third-wheeling by now. But she hadn’t.
As she sat inside the palanquin on Gandora’s back, her expression was sour as she watched alleged friends ignore her presence.
They sat by themselves, giggling like teenagers that just started having sex.
Izanami was sandwiched between Abaddon and Valerie’s muscular bodies. The effect it seemed to have on her was very clear.
Abaddon and Valerie, love-stricken deviants that they were, would whisper sweet excitements into Izanami’s ears over the course of the ride.
Between the feeling of their firm, eager bodies pressed against hers and their warm breath brushing against her skin, Izanami’s nose had already sprung several leaks over the course of the voyage.
Nyx couldn’t believe she had been pulled from the comfort of her bedroom to spectate this episode of soft cuckold play.
“…This isn’t fun for me, you know? I just feel that the three of you should be more mindful of your company.”
The three dragons lifted their heads as if they had forgotten Nyx was there.
“Nice. Real nice, everyone.” She rolled her eyes.”Why I have half a mind to-”
“Okay, okay, relax…” Valerie sighed. “We got a bit carried away.”
“Again…” Izanami lowered her head.
Abaddon does not say anything, but he does offer her a gaze of consolation.
Though Nyx seems unwilling to let it move her.
“You all have some nerve. This is practically physical violence against your single friends!”
The palanquin rumbles as Gandora finally makes her landing.
Abaddon stands up from his seat and holds their hands as they step outside.
“You will become used to it at some point.”
“I most certainly will not!”
“No? What a long friendship we have ahead of us, then.”
Abaddon can hear Nyx grinding her teeth together as he steps outside. Resisting the urge to laugh and mock takes up much of his concentration.
The destination that the group has chosen reminds him slightly of Luxuria. The rich vibrancy of the purple sky above them is nostalgic despite its key differences.
Such as the floating clouds in the sky that contain the conscious and subconscious dreams of humanity.
In front of them spans an ivory bridge leading towards a grand castle of the same.
In the sky, one could see any number of black figures rushing towards the castle, and departing from it at the same time.
“My lord. My ladies.”
A figure appears at the end of the bridge. Like the others, it seems to be comprised of black clouds, but unlike the others, this one wears a butler’s suit and glossy leather shoes.
It’s voice is both feminine and deep; hopelessly caught in between the two until the cloudy figure deigned to make a choice.
“While it is my most genuine hope that all of you are in splendid health, I fear that you have made no appointment with-”
Nyx pushed back the flaps on the palanquin rudely before glaring down at Abaddon’s back. He ignored her.
“Ah. I see. Then please come in.” The figure beckoned.
The gates behind the figure opened wide for the esteemed visitors and allowed them inside.
As they enter, Abaddon and Valerie can feel the sweat pooling in Izanami’s palms as her pulse quickens.
When they look down at her, her beautiful face is twisted with worry.
’Everything will be fine, love. Just trust us.’ Abaddon squeezed her hand.
Izanami seems to feel better for a moment. But shaking off her doubts is not something easily accomplished with only one string of words.
As Abaddon and the group are led inside the castle, they do not stop to look and marvel at the splendid architecture or fantastical displays of magic.
They are led to a throne room on the far side of the castle.
There, a man with long grey hair is paruzing a library of such enormity that even Lailah would be moved by it.
When he sees the figures enter, he is aptly shaken.
Though not by Abaddon. It is Nyx who inspires him with the greatest worry.
“Mothe-”
Nyx wraps her arm around the man’s neck and holds him tightly in place.
“You know… one might think I was a terrible mother.” She says through clenched teeth. “My beloved children, don’t call. They don’t write. Is the only way I can get a hold of any of you by literally grabbing you until your head pops off…?”
The man gasps. “I… have been… busy..!”
“Oh, I’m sure. Too busy to send your mother a ten-second text message. Do you have any idea how inconsequential ten seconds is to beings who can move at lightspeed!? It’s very inconsequential, Hypnos!”
“I-I understand… I will acquire a phone immediately..!”
“I was hoping that you would say that.”
Nyx suddenly releases her son and shoves a white box into his chest.
He opens it as he rubs his neck and discovers a new cellphone sitting inside.
“It is already programmed with my number. It requires no early connection, so you may contact me from anywhere at any time, and… ah..!”
Nyx suddenly snatched her phone from Hypnos and wrapped her arm around him begin. This time, she is much gentler than before.
She places her lips on her son’s cheek andholds up the device to take a picture. She only releases him once she is done.
Nyx sighs at the photograph, but sets it as her son’s wallpaper and her contact photo regardless. “Honestly…why would you make your eyes all big and bulbous like that? What if mommy wanted to post this?”
Hypnos blinks slowly. “…I’m sorry, mother.”
*Sigh* “Well, it’s fine. You’ll be getting a dinner invitation from me at some point in the next few days, and it is imperative that you accept it. I would like you to meet your sister from an alternate reality.”
“Are you doing something illegal perchance..?”
“How dare you just assume that?? Besides, if I were, who is going to check me about it?!”
“…No one.”
“And why not?”
“Because mother is creation’s truest supreme being.”
“Aww. You’re so sweet to me, baby-boy.” Nyx wraps her son in a hug again and kisses his cheek. She presents her son to her friends as if he has just won his first t-ball game.
“He’s just so precious, isn’t he? I’m such a lucky mama.”
Valerie was trying not to laugh. Izanami was slightly envious. Abaddon sent his sympathies to Hypnos, as someone who also had two very overbearing mothers.
“It has been some time, Dragon. Have you all come here to watch our… reunion?” Hypnos sounded like he was going to die of embarrassment if that turned out to be the case.
Luckily for him, Abaddon shook his head.
“Mommy’s friends need a favor, sweet-face.” Nyx informed. “Where is my grandson?”
Hypnos simply stared at his mother, waiting for her to be more specific. He had a thousand sons .
“Morpheus.”
“Oh, that brat..? Ah, here.”
Hypnos reaches inside his pocket and pulls out a fistful of lilac colored sand.
He throws the sand on the floor casually, and a fierce sandstorm is suddenly kicked up.
When the storm dies down, there is a new figure standing in the middle of the room.
If one were not looking closely enough, it would have been easy to mistake him for the Greek Ganymede.
His face is slightly childish, though his body is that of an adult.
Like the sand thrown by his father, his hair is a wavy lilac color that is bound neatly into a single braid that falls down his back.
His white wings are almost angelic, yet distinctly ghastly. It was as if taking your eyes off them for even a single moment would cause them to disappear.
The young god yawned as he began floating in midair with his legs crossed.
“You rang, father..?”
As the god opens his eyes wider and the room becomes filled with more clarity, he suddenly loses every drop of color in his face.
Standing at least two heads above him is a large figure he had only seen from afar. His glowing red eyes and crimson hair were hallmarks of fear known by everyone in the divine realms.
He gulped as he slowly backed away.
“H-Hello, Lord… You’ve gotten a haircut, it seems. It suits you splendidly, yes, it does.”
Morpheus disappeared from his place and reappeared behind his father’s back.
“Do you hate me that much, you old fart..! Why would you summon me here with present company around!? You want to feed me to the destroyer, is that it?! Well, when mother hears about this, she’ll-”
Hypnos dropped his fist on top of his son’s head. “Quiet, boy… The dragon apparently wants a favor from you, so hear him out.”
“W-Why do I have to..?”
Unconsciously, Hypnos glances at Nyx.
“…Because.. he’s like family… I suppose.”
The night goddess smiled, satisfied.
“Oh… alright then..”
Morpheus stepped out from behind his father’s shadow.
….And stepped right into Nyx’s. He believed her to be a more adept shield in the event of violence.
“H-How can I help you..?”
Abaddon’s eyes became complicated as he looked down at Izanami.
“My wife… was placed under a spell a few years ago. In that dream, she lived in an illusory world where we were already married. We had a child. But when the one who cast the spell broke her out of it, she was heartbroken.”
Abaddon locked eyes with Morpheus and spoke to him in a sincere voice.
“I believe with your help, we can bring that child to life for good.”
